For a magic user Regi had little trouble landing safely. His first goal was to find other people as he walekd thorugh the forest......unfortunatly he found someone......

"Heeey, Regi. I've been looking for you." ^^

Great....that asshole....here came the headlock again.

"I got a mission for you, let's go."

Soon enough Regi found himself in front of the entrance of a cave.

"We are not suppsoed to go there..." ^^;

"Don't be such a kill joy Regi. Where is your sense of adventure? In you go."

The guy pushed Regi in. The cave was dark and for some reason rather slippery, Regi emediatly slidded and fell down. Unfortunatly it only god worse from there. It was dark to see but the cave was actually at an angle liek a lside and he quickly vanished somewhere deep underneath with a loud scream.

"Oh? I guess you shouldn't go there without a light. Good to know. good luck Regi."

The guy laughed it off as he left. Meanwhile there was a loud explosition in the forest followed by some grows.

"Now this is what I am talknig about, let's go!"

Yun, the excited guy from earlier leaped forward and hammer fisted a grim monster in to the ground with his hands. His gloves sparked with electricity.

"Come get some."

He started darting back and forth like a boxer as a few more Grim tried to jump him. He laughed it off as they were bated in. He stopped the ground and electricity burst around him, stunning his attackers. He emediatly stepped in with a flurry of punches and kicks flying everywhere. The Grim growled, not really knowing what the hell was going on. Yun grabbed one of them by the tail and flung him around like a ragdoll at the rest of them, only to let go and leap in the air again.

"Overhead spark!"

He struck the ground like a bolt of lightning, causing and earthquake and an elecromagnetic storm, burning the Grim and scorching the ground around him.

"And that's a wrap."

He posed as he put his foot on one of them with a big smile and thumbs up. His brother Yang who was sitting on a tree branch just clapped slowly.

"Can we go now? The others are probably at the ruins....."

"You are no fun." >.>

The two brothers headed deeper towards the ruins.

Yeah, all that intense speed, all that excitement, all those trees!

Unable to slow down or avoid all the trees, the bike was soon sent spinning, Maia jumping off after one full spin, sending herself into a clump of blushes as her bike slammed into a near by tree... In retrospect she should have really picked a different type of weapon for this but she was so hoping to show off her own creation.

"Darn it..."

Her crimson tail was the first thing out of the bush, only for the rest of her to follow soon after, picking bits of twigs and the like out of her hair. Looking over her bike she could tell it was not damaged but really it was useless here so she just removed the two large swords from its sides before moving on.

"Note to self, weapons can be situational..."

After a few small skirmishes most of the group was at the ruins. That's when they noticed in the middle there was a small podium with chest pieces, four to be exact made out of copper. Soon enough they got contacted by the teacher.

"It's time for the second part of your initiation. You begin on my signal. The object is to get all the pieces back to me outside of the forest. Here are the rules. A person can carry only one piece. The person who brings me a piece will become a team leader. What you do on your way here is left to your discretion."

In the mean time Yang was talking to Regi's friend.

"We are missing a person, wasn't he with you earlier?"

He shrugged and laughed it off.

"He went exploring. Not my problem."

The instructor continued.

"Reginald's signal is not working. It may be malfunctioning or maybe he is in a place with a bad signal. Either way we are not waiting for him. Begin."

Yan scratched his head.

"Did he go in the caves or something? Oh man I wanted to go there fi....HEY!"

One of the pieces was gone and Yang was bolting with it through the trees.

"That's not fair brother!!!!"

Hell brake loose and everybody who grabbed a piece made a brake for it with the others giving chase. Meanwhile poor Regi was somewhere on his own ;x;

Finally making it to the ruins, Maia was panting slightly from the fact she had to sprint at full speed to catch up with everyone, all thanks to her bike mind you... Which she kind of hoped would get picked up later. It was by this point that the teacher piped in. She was only half listening to him when one of the others mentioned that one of them were missing..

"Odd.."

Was he really in the caves? He would be fine with? Even if they could not detect him they had his vitals... Right? She was kind of lost in thought when all the pieces were snatched away, she even had her back to them and only noticed when some of the ones carrying them passed her! What the?!

"Hey! Wai.."

She was off after them as well, chasing down those pieces like her life depended on it! However as they passed a mouth to a cave Maia same to a stop, looking between it and her goal, he was fine, so there was no point In going to save him right?

"There better be no Dam,n spiders in this PLACEEEEE!"

Maia said as she jumped into the Cave, going into a standing slide as she did so.

As soon as she got down there, a huge spider like beast attempted to grab ahold of her in a net of webs!

"I knew it!"

She said, dragging out her blade and slicing right through the web and diving over the remainder onto the cave floor. However, just as soon as it had come it had vanished into the darkness, now she knew why normal students were not allowed down here... They couldn't get a readng and these things hunted through the darkness. Backing up she bumped into something soft yeah hard at the same time

"Huh? Oh... Hey"

She looked back to see Regi all tied up in web.

"You umm.. Ok there?" ^^;

"I-I've seen stuff....." x_x

Poor Regi looked scarred for life.

"Can you get me down please? I don't like this place."

Hisses came from the shaodws and red eyes started to pop up as the webs shifted around.

"Like right now." ^^;

"Sure. ^^;

Maia was looking over him for a moment, wondering how to get him both down and out of there, though soon enough she seemed to give up and just raise one of her swords.

"Don't worry. I don't mind this place as much, after all-,"

With one fell swoop her sword sliced across the cocoon, the dried web cracking under the attack and shattering. However as her form dropped to one knee a large spider was shown to be coming up behind her, bearing its fangs! A faint 'click' followed this as a long barrel of what looked to be a hand cannon was shoved into its mouth.

"Faunus can see in the dark." ^^

With a smirk she pulled the trigger of the hand cannon, blasting the spider away into the far wall of the cave.

The gunshot sturred up the spider den, they did not like that. Regi fell to the gorund with a painfull thud since there was no way to brake his fall.

"Aww..." ;x;

He mentaly steeled himself. Pain is only a painfull illusion Regi, shake it off. He took out the flute from his pocket and flicked it to extend.

"Ilumination."

He cast a spell and a few orbs of light materialized to bring a light blue glow to the cavern. Each of which started going down diffrent tunnels.

"The one on the far right seems to be a way out, the orbs is reflecting light off of it."

Spiders started to creep out of the diffrent tunnels all over the place. Jsut before Maia and Regi could do anything the chamber shook once more as a giant mother spider came down from somewhere above them. She was blocking their escape and started spewing web in their direction. Regi stepped in front of it and swatted at her projectile web.

"Reflection."

A magic mirror subtance appeared and bounced it back at the giant spider, hitting it in one of its eyes. That send it in to a frenzy and it began lashing out randomly. Regi started to panic as it almost hit him and the walls began to crumble.

Maia was impressed to say the least, she had never seen magic, one of the purest forms of dust manipulation and from what she heard, the hardest to control too. Though she had to get to work herself as she drew the two large bike swords from her back and started to swing them both together to cut through the spiders, though when they made contact she had to give it just that extract push to break their touch shell!

"Ok, then we run for it and-,"

IT was at this point the mother spider decided to join its brood.

"I see...A Bigsy, compacted to the Tichys, this thing is on another level"

She said right before he decided to almost blind the thing! Sending into a rage that was not only causing the cave to shake but also crushing some of the Tichsy as well! Knowing she couldn't let it just run wild Maia moved up next to Regi.

"Stick close to me, and fight off what you can. Do NOT, leave my back. Ok?"

She may have asked, but really this was how they were going to get out so they had little choice. Dashing forwards ahead of Regi for a moment, Maia jumped into the air and wet into a dive, the huge leg trying to sweep her barely missing, but she wasn't going to do the same, as she rammed it into its leg and pinned it into the ground!

"Keep running!"

Leaving her sword behind she flung her other one towards one of the legs against the wall, pinning that one too. However, this drew the Bigsy's attention right for them, raising two of its legs together and attempting to crush them right there. Sliding to a stop in front of the beast, Maia drew her arms back against her sides, a crimson glow flowing off her arms like dust. waiting untill the legs were almost at her before unleashing a duel palm strike!

"Cascade!"

The arms stopped dead in their tracks from the impact, only to start creaking and cracking, only to shatter into a thousand pieces up to its joints!

Regi had never ran faster in his life! He could be an olimpic runner all sorts of land records were being broken. Well he was cheating, he casted haste on himself. But he was SO DAMN FAST! Once he was near the mouth of the tunnel leading to the exit he turned around and casted haste on Maia as well. A spider snapped at Regi from the tunnel but thanks to being hasted he narrowly missed it. With the giant spider trashing around reclessly the entire cavern began to crumble and fall apart. Regi barely avoided a giant rock coming down on him just for the ground beneath him to crumble. He screamed as he fell inside the giant hole along with some spiders, dissappearing in to the darkness bellow. When the place began to collapse all the spiders began to retreat furder bellow as well towards where Regi fell.

With the floor given away, Maia decided to use the gift that Regi gifted her and use the haste that was cast on her to dash from rock to rock as it was falling deeper into the darkness. She was trying to catch up with Regi before he hit the ground, though she may not have felled all that better, she could at least try and save him! She did come all this way right? That being said she started to even start jumping off the falling spiders too to catch up with him, destroying them with each jump she made.

To be able to get to Regi in that kind of situation was truly a incredible feat by Maia. The caverns bellow were even mroe intimidating. Hundreds of tunnels spanned them all covered in thick webs. There were more cracks and holes scattered around and more spiders quickly came to join the fray.

"T-Thanks..."

Regi thanked her as she let him go. This was a little too much for him. He was not used to having to "fight" in these type of conditions.

"Holy Nova."

A blast of warm light burst forward, knocking some of the spiders back as they began to glow from the light, in turn iluminating the caverns. The spiders began to make to make some strange skittering noises between themselves, almsot like comunicating and soon enough lunged forward again.

"Magic missle."

Regi fired off a few bolts of concentrated magic at them but they bounced off or got absorbed as the spiders hit by it began to glow in a light green glow like Regi's aura.

"They.....negated it...." O.O;

Regi paniced as they got too close and tried to dodge and find cover. In the mean time a few other spiders began to surround Maia. Somehow their exosceleton began to shapeshift and harden as they began to glow in a light red colour like her aura, they confidently lunged forward to tackle and attack her.

After landing with Regi, her body shaking a little from the over use of aura, she rested a bit and placed him down on the ground.

"Y-You know. These things are are tough but not as much as I expected for advanced stuff. Huff.. I expected more really" ^^

As if the gods themselves had understood her, the titchsy were back, and they had more than a few tricks up their sleeves! Even as they were hit by magic and Aura alike, the things adapted, as if they had been testing them this entire time! Maia tried her best to smash them though she could only produce enough to crack their sheel a little, even then she was smacked clear across the room in the counter attack! Slamming against the wall she groaned in pain as she stood up

"That... That was just the warm up, up top I mean... "

The big spider started spewing her webs again. With Maia having her hands full some of the webs hit her, the fact that all the walls were covered and there were webs hanging everywhere didn't help either, she was starting to get entangled in it all. She was not trapped jsut yet but the spiders about to lunge at her were going to make sure she was not going anywhere. A low pitched sound began to echo in the cavern and turned in to a melody. The spiders suddenly became confused and left her alone. The smaller spiders suddenly attacked the queen who began to thrash around. In meer seconds the smaller psiders started ripping her apart and killed her. The melody came to an ubrupt halt as noise came from above, like a thunder struck inside the cave somehow! A bolt of lighting came crashing down and flung the spiders all over the place. Yun cheerfully jumped to his feet, fist ready.

"Cavalry has arrived."

He threw a few jabs and started attacking the spiders. He was followed by the rest of the team who was sent in the forest. Everybody began fighting the spiders. Looks like all the rookies proved a bit too much for the spiders now that the queen was gone.

Maia was in big trouble by the time that music played, it seemed, familiar? It was as if the spiders were commanded by their mother herself to attack, to rip her to shreds for the good of them all. What the hell was going on? Maia didn't know whether to stay trapped or start fighting again, just in case whatever was doing this stopped. With that a crack of what sounded like thunder broke the melody and the rest of the rookies joined them... Though Maia stumbled forwards

"You guys.. Keep doing that. I will.. Uhhh. Rest here."

She said, still trying to struggle her way out of the webs but due to all the aura she used she was in no state to break free alone.

After a while Regi popped up out of somewhere and saw Maia on the ground while the others were still busy fighting the spiders. He used a weak flame to burn the webs off of her and placed his arm on her shoulder. Some of his aura started to transfer over in to her and revitalize her.

"Can you stand?"

He asked her as he watched the others fight. Looks liek they had a strong start but the spiders began to adapt and push them back.

"I think we have overstayed our welcome a bit too much." ^^;

Maia soon started to find her feet again thanks to him passing on a little of his Aura to her. Standing from the webs, breaking a few off that were still attached even after the burning,, she looked on to the fighting still going on and nodded in agreement with Regi's words.

"Everyone! Start falling back! Alternate attacks on them to keep them at bay!"

That was pretty much the advice she could give while trying to look for a way out. She didn't want them to go deeper into the caves after all right?

"Regi, can you find us a way out again?"

"I can try."

Regi seemed unsure since they were pretty deep by this point and he had used up quite a lot of his magic by now. Still it was better trying then doing nothing. His lights went off to their thing but with time the ystarted to flicker and fade.

"I'm sorry I can't. The surface to cover is too huge."

Meanwhile the others seemed to have been thinking about leaving soon too. Yun called out to them.

"What are you guys doing? Let's get out of here."

One of the guys who had a giant hammer was hurling people up with insane stregth so they could exit from the hole in the ceiling.

"I'm not too sure about this." ^^;

"Don't be shy, go go go."

Regi screamed as he was flung up somewhere, his flight ended with a loud thump and a grunt. The spiders were starting to re organize and swarm the cavern as the last students were making their way up there.

"Finally!" she said as she caught the echoes of commotion from overhead, having been sent out to keep an eye on the situation with her avionic Hawks Talon. She rolled in midair, the large metal wings folding as she fell into a dive. "This is going to suck... " she said before she'd dive straight into the cavern, using her heightened sense of perception to navigate her way though the tighter spaces, eventually doing a forwards roll before diving into the hole as she narrowly avoided a flying student who landed... rather unpleasantly. "You should not be in here!" she warned with slight irritation before pulling the tail wings from her back, the metal transforming till they took the shape of strange gun like weapons. They began to glow a fierce blue, giving them all some light to work with before charges of energy began lashing towards the arachnids, slicing through them like butter on a hot day. It'd give them time, but there were certainly two many for even her to handle, and flies were a spiders favorite treat so she wasn't intending to stay long either. "You with the hammer, get yourself out, I can fly..." she said before one of them lunged, her left gun changing back into a large blade before she cleaved it in two. "Hurry!"

Maia watched as everyone started to get to the guy with the hammer, using it as a platform to get out of the hole, and though she was unsure her tired body could handle it right now she had little choice in the matter and so started to walk over towards it, though she was too slow to be able to reach there in time, the hammer man using it to get out himself but she was not alone.

"Hey, give me your hand"

She said reaching up a hand to the flying women, her other still holding her side tightly. Damn that wall hurt more than she had expected it to, guess she wasn't invincible at all heh...

Regi was picking himself off the floor when he noticed the guy with the hammer coming up. There was still noise below so he peeked to see what was going on. Even up here there were stil lspiders so the others were busy. Both girls bellow were on their own. Regi took a deep breath and endured his mental fatigue for a moment longer. Spell signs flared up around him and he prepared another spell.

"Plazma rain."

With a wave of his hand he created huge floating bubbles that casually started to float down towards the spiders. One of them quickly attacked the bubble and popped it. Purple like mist filled the area and a spark went off before violent bolts of plazma began to rain down and rip the spiders apart in the area around the bubble. The others began to pop as well, buying the girls a little mroe time and breathing room.
