Anastasia sighed as she picked up her back pack from the floor. Today would be her first day in yet another school. They had just moved to yet another town because of her father. He had finally gotten a steady job but unfortunately that meant they had to move, again.

And change schools, again.

Anna slung her bag over her shoulder and opened the door, shouting a goodbye to her dad who was still eating breakfast. She recieved a "Good luck, sweetheart." from him and smiled a bit as she walked towards the school building, two blocks down, humming a song to herself, shivering ever so slightly at the breeze playing with her hair. It was the end of winter and it was in that awkward period where it was warm but not warm enough to go outside with a jacket but still...

Yeah, she definatly didn't like this weather. But the breeze was nice non the less.

Being lost in thought she failed to notice the boy walking in front of his and ended up running into him.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry!" Anastasia blurted out, looking at the stranger and awkwardly smiling. " Didn't see ya there."

She eyes him up and down. She thought he was pretty cute. He had black hair and was quite a lot taller then her.

"Did I hurt you or anything? I'm sorry for bumping into you. It's kinda my thing." she asked, giggling awkwardly.

Charlie turned around, before seeing the girl before him. His cheeks turned red as a stoplight, before he turned on his heel and wandered away, not really wanting to talk to anyone. His blazer flapped a little as he adjusted his satchel bag, the heels of his dress shoes clicking on the floor. As he departed the hall, a young woman spoke from where she'd been observing the scene.

"Don't take it personally, he doesn't talk much at all, he's not a talker in the least.." She smiled to reassure her. "My name is Mel, what's yours?" She spoke, voice bright and bubbly. The short blonde rocked on her heels slightly, smiling up at the other girl.

Anna looked strangely as the boy fled away from her. Then her attention was caught by another girl speaking.

"Eh, my name's Anastasia. But you can call me Anna. I'm new here." she said and held out a hand for Mel to shake. She was still pondering over the boy she ran into. He must've been really shy... "Hey, Mel, don't mean to be a burden but can you show me around a bit? I have a habit of getting myself lost or in trouble.."

Anna sheepishly smiled and adjusted her hairband, looking at the derection the boy had fled in.
