Go to the picture in that article and look at one of the left squares for a full minute, then look at the corresponding middle square. You'll see some shades that cannot be observed under normal viewing conditions (like a shade of red that is brighter than white) but which you can trick your brain into seeing.

Can't see it.

I can't stare under normal conditions. When I WANT to stare, I blink. When I don't, I stare and zone out randomly.

Why ;-;

Bleh, everytime I try to stare at something so specific for such a set length of time I just go cross-eyed and it turns into two images of the same thing. >.<

Though I did manage to see a very quick flash of blue on the corresponding pic regardless, too quick though for me to determine if it was an unusual shade of blue or not.

Stygian blue is unusual because it is an impossibly highly saturated shade of blue-black. Being as dark as it is, it shouldn't be so vivid... but it is. Hence, impossible. Actual light can't create a colour like that, only your brain can.

I have synaesthesia so I see shit like this whenever I hear names.

Another good way of seeing shit like this is staring directly into the sun.
