That's a pretty good question Jonisca, I had just assumed the party took place in Octave's estate. I'll have to do a little bit of editing on my post if we are indeed simply outside somewhere.

Name (First and Last): Raime Orlan. (The real one of many, many others.)
Age: 23.
Country/City of Origin (If you'd like you can put a description as well as a name): Genais.
The rather simple, but elegant capital city reflected within the country of Tajik a small country to the direct west of Ageuos. It was allied with Ageuos after a short but decisive conflict between the far larger, and latter country, and its allies attempting to overrun Tajik who they viewed as inferior. But they were met with only defeat time and time again by the seemingly simple who used a devastating mixture of guerilla warfare, ambush, and espionage to break the morale, and the back, of the much larger armies. Soon after the leader of Tajik, Lorenius Orlan, reached out to make a offer of peace with Ageuos and other leaders in a meeting in his own manor which ended in the assassination of several representatives who dared to threaten Orlan directly or otherwise. It was after this that Tajik became a firm ally of Ageuos with the agreement benefitting both countries equally and providing a valuable lesson in underestimating an opponent. Here slavery is but a temporary thing allowing the slaves in question to earn freedom with time and effort as opposed to mercy of their owners.

Status (Master, Slave, Free Man): Free Man, though he takes on guises as required.

Personality (Again as detailed or vague as you'd like): His outward personality can change very quickly, in the thrust of a knife so to speak. Few people ever really meet or know him and those who do never speak of it given his line of work.

Appearance:
Raime is the type of person you would lose in a crowd or would hardly notice most of the time. He stands at 5'6" appearing slim and unimpressive, most of the time, but like any good operator he is far from it with a highly compact musculature allowing him to move quickly and quietly. His face is very expressive or so it seems but few get to see the cold, snakelike intelligence underneath it.

Reason for attending the party: Raime is often hired to oversee Octave's 'parties' because while guards are all well and good, its never enough in the world of the wealthy where a cold blade or a slip of poison could end everything. He is also being paid a fair sum for his expertise should he be required or not, but he has his reservations of the whole event being overdone though you would never hear it spoken only thought.

Anything Else: Raime is the son of Tajik's current leader and by far his most dangerous agent in all aspects of espionage. Saying he is highly trained would be an understatement as he was practically born into the trade but he is no puppet and enjoys a rather free reign of where he works and what measures he deems necessary in each assignment. He has been living in Thessaloniki working for Octave as part shadow agent and assassin, or both, as he saw an opportunity to earn his own fortune as has been doing so like many of his fellow countrymen. Raime is a firm believer that one must work their way into money, like his father once did, or deal with what you have and will through it so the overzealous display of wealth and lack of initiative disgust him but he ignores it to the best of his ability. He tends to ignore slavery as a result of his personal beliefs though it is something that he disapproves of because of them as well, it is the sort of thing that gives him pause and often longing for home where such issues were irrelevant.

Hmm, if it's Octave's estate...wait, in your context, estate refers to the building itself or the land? o.o Correct me if I am wrong, for whenever people mention the term "estate" my mind keeps thinking of it as a piece of land x.x English ain't my native language, still learning every now and then, so I would appreciate it if anyone of you could put me into the right perspective for this roleplay.

I think an estate is more focused on a large building and some of the land not taken up by it, something like that.

Also, thanks for the welcome Science.

In this context, I'd imagine estate is the same as a mansion. And from the way I described it in the IC, it is overlooking a fair portion of the city.

Yes. The estate includes his land too, but the party is held inside his mansion like house. Right now they are in a sort of ballroom. And yes it overlooks most of the city since it is in the middle of it.

Name: Elrik Karne

Age: 20

Country/City of Origin:
Azyrki: Azyrki is a small town built into a singular granite mountain close to the World Scar mountain chain. Constantly assailed by strong, freezing winds blowing off from the World Scar as well as noxious vapors emanating from the nearby Twilight Swamp, it is a harsh, unforgiving land, widely notorious as a dark and sinister place, much like those who inhabit the town in their wretched houses and squalid hovels. Its relatively close distance to the Twilight Swamp means sunlight barely passes though the thick smog that hangs over the town and that most sources of water are tainted by its toxic influence. Those who brave these contaminated waters do so at great agony and peril: death or worse, mutation. However, it also means that these tainted water sources, whilst home to many baleful creatures, are rich in precious minerals and ores found in its silt and mud.
Expansive subterranean labyrinths snake through the mountain, allowing a fair portion of the town's more powerful and richer denizens better access to cleaner water sources and relatively safer living quarters; its tunnel complex boasting a larger area than that of the town itself which is packed with numerous shops, taverns and residences. Business in Azyrki is said to be very cut-throat; espionage, sabotage and assassinations are considered common practices when doing business with Azyrkians.

Status (Master, Slave, Free Man): Free man (former slave, self-liberated)

Personality: Born and bred in the darkness of Azyrki, Elrik is a man who speaks not with words but with action. Emotionless, tactical, vicious and brutal, he is a formidable foe to contend against. Well versed in weaving lies and deceit, his only allegiance is to coin and himself and would not think twice about slitting a person's throat if it would benefit him even by a little.

Appearance: Standing at 5'8", Elrik's wiry frame is built for speed and dexterity. Square-jawed and with rough-hewn features made prominent by a short stubble, his inky hair hangs unkempt down to his shoulders. He looks emaciated and is horribly scarred, a gaping orifice where his left cheek should be, with dark eye circles from long periods of sleep deprivation that accentuate the whites of his dark piercing eyes as they stare from sunken cheeks. A patchwork of scars, new and old, criss-cross his entire body which he oft hides with a well used travelling cloak.

Reason for attending the party (This can be as detailed or as vague as you'd like, but I might need to know this): Elrik heard of a grand party being hosted which would be packed with fat merchants and nobles of bountiful riches just ripe for the picking. It was only right that he help relieve some of that heavy gold off their sore backs.

Anything Else (This can be anything that you feel we should know, but does not fit in any other category):
Ever since he could walk, Elrik bit, clawed, kicked, scratched, and struggled all the way through his miserable, sordid life. When he was 9, he caught the eye of a leading businessman when he stole a jug of water from the man's stash and managed struggle his way through two of his guards to escape back to his family. The businessman, Kfer Karne, tracked him down and promptly had Elrik's whole family killed before dragging Elrik back in chains and training him as a work-slave of sorts. Elrik was often sent to do Karne's dirty work as cheap, expendable fodder: stealing documents and items of great value, planting false information, assassinating rivals, etc. Many times he was sent with no hopes of returning alive, but returned alive he did, come success or failure despite numerous near-death experiences and each time he returned, his vengeance and hate only burned stronger. At the age of 18, Kfer summoned Elrik and promised him freedom if he would adopt his last name and swear never to attempt to take Kfer's life. The night Elrik was freed, he returned for Kfer and after dispatching his personal guards, let loose the other kid slaves on his prone, immobilized body. Since then, he has traveled around, searching for riches and bounty in hopes of filling the emptiness inside of him.

Wow. I love him. Alright you're accepted, but keep in mind that if you were not invited to the party you'll have to be sneaking in and keeping under the radar of the guards.
