Heyo. An idea I had long ago:
The entire Pokemon world has decided to have a new Elite group for Pokemon Trainers to become masters fighting. However, this new group will be a total of 8, calling them the Elite Eight, EE, or E8. To decide who will be in the Elite Eight there will be a tournament of 18 people, each with a team of one type of Pokemon.
First: An obstacle course to test each of the finalists in their own type. This will have us find the 18
Second: Pokemon battle, 1x1, 3 pokemon each. This will narrow down to 9.
Third: 3 3-way battles, 2 pokemon each. This will narrow down to 3.
Fourth: Whichever of the 3 has the highest score of the last 3 rounds will sit out this battle. The two "second place" victors will then do a 6 x 6 battle.
Fifth: Final Battle between the last 2 Victors. The winner will be crowned the first Champion, the loser will be the Eighth Elite.
In the same fashion, we would narrow the choice down to a single region and that region would be the only Pokemon allowed to be on a team unless your type wouldn't have enough. The new twist for this RP is a new element in fighting. First, every Pokemon must be fully evolved (Unless I can be sold on the reason) and can know up to 6 moves. Fly and Surf and others like those won't be considered using an attack, just a natural ability, unless it is the actual attack. Second, every pokemon can have a mega form. If it doesn't already exist, make it up! Just be descriptive. Third, these will be in depth battles on changing battlefields. Sometimes in your favor, sometimes not. I'm picking them at random, so please don't bitch me out for it. Forth, We will play the NPCs that the other is about to battle. I'll just use characters that already exist, such as Koga and Lt. Surge, but you're more than welcome to create your own from scratch. Fifth, there will be another battle element. It's called a Fuze attack. You will be given a gauntlet that will be designed in your own Type way. In every battle, you will have 5 Fuze Points, or FPs. With these each point you can combine an extra move with a move you are already using.
For Example: For Venasaur, you could use one FP to combin Hyperbeam and Solarbeam. Using these two would let Venasaur fire Hyperbeam during the first turn while Solarbeam is powering up. It would be stunned for a shorter amount of time and then would use Solar beam. Another example would be Emboar. Using 2 points, Emboar can Bulk Up, then use Overheat and Head Smash to become an even more devastating move. An rper in the last one I played had a Butterfree who used two points and combined Stun Spore, Poisonpowder and Sleeppowder, covering the field in poisons. I will ask you to describe what happens and give the new attack a name, just for fun. Make sure to use obvious physics when doing this. Say these Venasaur and Emboar battled and used the FPs. The two beams would slow down Emboars charge quite a bit, but the attack would most likely hit and K.O. the large and slow Venusaur.
At the same time as this we will battle Team Rocket in the form of a new division of their name called Team Fusion. These people are fusion pokemon, similar to those pictures you see on: http://pokemon.alexonsager.net/
Our characters will be working together to stop Team Rocket, or help if you want to have a villian. I usually play males and prefer a female counterpart, but can work with anything. Romance is possible as well.
