Hello! I think the title pretty much says it all, but I do have some things to clear up so this doesn't sound like an Arrow rip off haha


I was thinking of a group of modern day Merry Men lead by none other than a (here comes a shocker) modern day Robin Hood. His family was once well known in business, and corruption took its part, and tore its family down. He befriends people with traits of stealing, hacking, stealth, and other abilities to help him steal from the corrupt and rich, and uses the money they steal to fund to charities, give unmarked bills off in the streets, etc.

There will be iconic characters like Little John, Maid Marian, King John Lionheart (brother to King Richard), Friar Tuck, the sheriff, and other made up characters as well!

As the Merry Men live normal lives during the day, they are constantly thought of as vigilantes, and the cops are always looking for a lead to catch anyone in the Merry Men. Robin will have to make decisions to save those he cares for, maybe someone tries to rat them out, and more and more enemies might try and stand in their way!

Marian could be the daughter of the sheriff and falls for Robin, Little John could be best friends with Robin since grade school, the governor John Lionheart could do anything to try and find these vigilantes! Action! Romance! Drama! Excitement! Humor, and more await!!

This has definitely got my interest. I'm trying to figure out what kind of character I could contribute.

Edit: Looking into how to write a hacker character. Thinking a fun-loving Will Scarlet (though there's like twenty different versions and personalities for this guy). He's sometimes Robin Hood's nephew, but we would maybe make them cousins depending on the ages?

That would be pretty cool! We could definitely do a cousin relationship with the two, I was thinking of making Robin being around 25, so he could be a younger, light hearted genius hacker hahaha

I'd be interested in being Marian. Would be willing to double up female characters for other main characters as well!

At the mo, I'm thinking of Little John like this huge, British dude in a tracksuit. Bald, huge beard, at least one gold chain. Looking forward to the OOC.

I have an idea for two characters.

I am interested in doing a modern day versions Guy of Gisborne and Archer based off of the BBC Robin Hood show from October 2006 till June 2009.

Hmm, I'm not very familiar with the characters, who are they?? hahaha

Guy of Gisborne

Guy is the Sheriff of Nottingham's second-in-command, and manages the Locksley estate in Robin's absence. He is reluctant to relinquish control over it and takes a dark satisfaction in being named its permanent lord after Robin is outlawed. His eagerness for land of his own comes from bitterness over having no actual Gisborne estate, and he contemplates renaming Locksley to Gisborne.

I would ignore being the second in command to the Sheriff and definitely ignore the managing and controlling the Locksley estate. He would still be in law enforcement, maybe FBI.

Archer
Not much was shown about him, only in 4 episodes. Basically Robin minus the nobility and good parents if I remember correctly.

ooohhh, both are super interesting characters!! I would say for now, choose one you'd definitely like to play, and if there's room in the RP, you can create both!
