It's the first day of school, and it's lunchtime.

The only significant thing was the Assembly in the auditorium, but you didn't miss too much there besides the Principal, and the class president making speeches. We haven't fought shadows, summoned Personae (Personas?) or anything.

Oh, you CAN'T miss the assembly and the Principal, I don't mean to toot my own horn or anything but, they are pretty great.

Weapon: An old baseball bat, later putting nails through it and eventually barb wire

Appearance:
Generally wears button up shirts, khaki cargos, and casual shoes when his not in his school uniform. Typically his school bowling shirt if his got a game or just feels like it. He has a normal pair of perscription glasses he always wears and fiddles with when his nervous. When coming into combat its generally the same thing only with his hands taped up with athletic tape.

Personality/Backstory: A friendly sort who is fairly sociable when he wants to be. Shinji is a two handed style bowling prodigy in the making. Shinji grew up practically living in the bowling alley his parents own and run. Giving him ample time to develop a fairly unique two handed bowling style that delivers an incredibly fast ball that can hit the pocket 9 out of 10 times. Constantly winning local competitions and leagues until they barred him for being too good. The young man has aspirations of going pro straight out of high school and has sponsors anxiously waiting for that time. All said though, the pressures of Japanese society have left him forced to hide his biggest desire and truth about him.

When Shinji was little, he discovered a unique attraction not to women, but towards men. However around that same time, a man who lived near the house he grew up in was savagely beaten for reportedly being a homosexual. It left Shinji scarred and afraid to be honest about his feelings. What really doesn't help matters though is that he is considered by a very large percent of girls at the school to be a very worthy bachelor. Constantly hounded for dates and other activities Shinji quickly becomes incredibly shy and avoiding. Whenever a girl finally wrangles him into a date Shinji is usually shy, not very willing to do much. It all leads people at the school to think he just really tries hard to toy girls along. But the truth is of course much more painful for Shinji himself.
Likes: Bowling, music and going to concerts, being around friends and teammates
Dislikes: The truth about himself, girls hounding him, splits of the 7-10, or the 4-6-7-10 variety

Well, I was planning to kinda wrap it up after your next post. You know, make it the end of lunchtime and such.

Well, just caught up with everything and decided to try my hand at giving this RP some new blood. I do have a character in mind already.

Before I get to writing that, however... Three questions, one in-universe, two meta:

1. What does Satoru Gakuen's uniform look like? It seems that Persona's uniforms are primarily black, though the design changes between schools for obvious reasons. Kind of interested since I had the ridiculous idea to draw my character and her persona.
2. Noel, are you still around!? I don't want to make the only third year if I don't have to D:. But being Kitakami-senpai is a must!
3. Might I be allowed to have a primary and a secondary character? The secondary character will mostly be used for the sake of the primary's backstory, and will be a public use NPC for the most part.

Hopefully I'm not joining too late into the game, in terms of real-time. That this has had 51 posts over four months does worry me a little, even if all the posts are great quality.

Well, I'll answer these in order.....

1. Satoru is actually one of the more prestigious schools in the area, as such it's student's must look the part. Men and women both wear a custom black blazer with the symbol of the school emblazoned upon the chest. The symbol being a traditional eastern dragon coiled around the base of an olive tree. Men are also given slacks with the blazer, and women get skirts.

2. I sent her a PM a few days ago but I've yet to receive a reply. I for one would really like her to come back, after all she took my Student Council President position. Rather inconsiderate to take that and vanish really. In any case, if you want to play a third year by all means go for it, age diversity makes things a little more interesting.

3. You can play as many NPCS as you like so long as the focus remains on the primary character. Also I reserve the right to control any and all NPCs, so this secondary character would be fair game for me to use if I wanted to, like as a Social Link or something. So long as we're clear on that, then yeah go right ahead.

Well, my intention was for this RP to be slower paced and more relaxed. However I'm afraid that's what's been costing me the players. I haven't had anyone tell me they quite they just disappear. So I've decided from here on out we'll move to a faster pace to hopefully avoid losing more.

Oho, glad I checked before I went to bed. Well, all those answers suit me just fine. I'll be writing up a sheet and getting it posted as soon as possible. Hopefully Noel comes back, seems she hasn't posted anywhere else in the guild lately.

As for the NPC, that might be perfect, actually. More details on that when the sheet(s) is/are up.

Anyway, are we allowed to choose what our Personae will evolve into? I had the idea for a Magician Arcana Baba Yaga that will eventually transmogrify into Hecate, they're different mythologies, but sort of related in theme. I don't think I get to choose when the persona gets to evolve, but perhaps what it evolves into?

As far as I know, you can choose what your persona evolves to. And as for as the mythology thing goes I'm sure it's fine. It is hard to find to perfect mythological characters from the exact same mythology that fit with your ideas.

Yup, you do choose it's evolution and I really don't care if they're from different mythologies. Just so long as the figures themselves fit the theme you're going for.

Excellent, excellent. The sheet will be up by the end of Saturday at the very latest, need to balance some logical errors/loopholes that make no sense. Also scrapped the first idea since she was starting to become more and more like a character I have in another RP right now.

So when I looked at DrewVonAwesome's sheet (I somehow missed reading through it, lol), I noticed that his character is something like a male counterpart to what I have outlined for mine... This'll be interesting.

As soon as Koma gives me a CS we'll move forward to after school/evening where we'll hopefully be able to dig into the fun stuff.
