For some reason Emiri wasn't exactly content with the idea of staying behind. At the very least, Jaakuna would be with her, so it should have been okay. Except, she vaguely recalled something like this happening. It was almost like deja vu, in a sense. She struggled to remember, but when she would force it, the memory would only slip away further. She looked at everyone, feeling useless, though if it was to please Jaakuna, she would oblige. "It's...for the best." She would mumble, looking very much like a young child that was being denied playtime.

Grant couldn't help but chuckle at her expression, going over and lightly patting her head. "We will return before you even start to miss us. You just focus on your trip down memory lane." He said, pointing to her wreath. He wanted to ask how the recovery process was going, but he didn't want to put her under any pressure.

In the time that they all started to just talk about what they needed to, around twenty minutes passed by, to which in that time the Ifrit arrived near Giruvegan. Or at least, as close as it could get to it without the amount of the mist surrounding the ancient capital disrupting the Ifrit's systems. "As requested, Master Jaakuna, we have arrived to a safe distance. Giruvegan is twenty miles east. I hope that will be sufficient." Iris informed them.

"That's fine, thank you Iris." Wesley would say instead of Jaakuna, who would give him a look. Wesley just smiled. As it was now known that they had arrived at where they needed to be, Wesley looked to everyone. "Someone should go get Nadeline. I would myself, but I feel that she might not want to see me." WEsley said.

Savayna sighed. "I'll go get little miss princess." Savayna said as she stood up and would walk to the Supply Room.

Wesley just sighed as Savayna left and he too would get up and head to the Armory. He needed to get his stuff ready as well. "We'll meet at the Beaming Station in ten minutes." WEsley said as he left.
As Savayna made her way into the Supply Room, she would open the door very gently, as to not alarm Nadeline. As she would quietly walk it, she kicked the door hard shut, locking it in the process. No doubt this would alarm Nadeline and Savayna just leaned against the door, arms crossed over her chest, and she looked at Nadeline with a rather disappointing glare. "Okay, time to spill the beans." Savayna said, "What is it with you and Wesley? Lannit, Wendy, and I heard you guys yelling back at the Pharos and now you won't even look at each other!?" Savayna said throwing her arms up into the air. "What gives?"

Grant rubbed his shoulder as he would laugh at Wesley and Jaakuna's little exchange. The more he thought about it, the more he would think that perhaps Jaakuna and Emiri staying behind would not be such a bad thing. They had gotten separated under the worst of circumstances, so this time alone would do them good--even if Emiri wasn't too thrilled about them splitting up again. He would, however, take it in stride, as her reluctance would signal something deeper in her mind. So for the first time in a very long time, he would find himself very glad at her displeasure.

Meanwhile Nadeline had just about wrapped up her supply run. After scrutinizing and making sure she took exactly what she needed, she would carefully place each item into her pouch. The princess hadn't exactly been looking forward to revisiting Giruvegan; besides the long trip and overbearingly frustrating monsters, last time they had come they had gotten ambushed by Lola and Michel's forces. She remembered getting stabbed due to her own mistiming, her spell having arrived too late. It would not happen again. Never again. As she confirmed that determination she would be alarmed by the door slamming shut. She whirled around only to see the other blonde woman blocking her view, glaring at her. Savayna would ask what exactly was her problem with Wesley, seeing as not only did they refuse to speak to each other, they could not even look at one another now.

"This is not the time for this, Savayna." Nadeline would reply. "Step aside, if you would. We have our mission."

“I see that you misunderstood me.” Savayna said. “I am not asking you to tell me, I am demanding.” She further stated.

Savayna could handle if Emiri and Jaakuna were fighting, she would understand that the two of would make up not long after their initial fight. She knew that Jaakuna was just that type of guy that a girl can’t stay mad at for very long. Emiri was the same way for guys, as she has seen from Grant and Jaakuna. Savayna could even handle her and Grant fighting. She knew they would make up soon after the initial fight. However, what she couldn’t understand was why Nadeline and Wesley were acting like children. Of the entire group and of all the couples that Savayna has encountered, the one couple that has been so perfect for each other and so very much in-love despite how soon they met each other was Nadeline and Wesley. They hit it off right away, so as to what possible reason either of them have to excuse their stupid fighting was beyond Savayna.

Boy oh boy was today full of surprises all around. Nadeline really was tired and not in the mood to be explaining herself for anything, really. She felt no desire to tell Savayna, and would much rather brush it under the rug. Still, her response seemed to have sparked a hint or both annoyance and slight anger at the general. First the tramp at the bar and now Savayna had decided to challenge her authority today. The gods had an odd sense of humor and she had no desire to continue amusing them. The blonde haired princess would then step right up to Savayna, dark blue eyes locked on icy blue ones.

"And you misunderstand me. This is not the time for this. Did I stutter?" Nadeline would ask rhetorically. "And I am not asking, I am demanding: Step. Aside."

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

As Nadeline would step closer to Savayna, nearly chest-to-chest, she would look into her icy-blue eyes and pretty much echo Savayna's words and state that Savayna was misunderstanding her and that she was not asking Savayna, she was demanding that the former general step aside. She really didn't understand where Nadeline got the nerve to demand such a thing of her. Savayna was just trying to help her friend out, but nooo, instead of allowing her to help, Nadeline would turn on her royal bitch mode and demand her to step aside.

"Oh you're demanding me huh?" Savayna said with an attitude as she looked at Nadeline with a smirk, "why don't you make me, princess?" As soon as she did that, Savayna tapped Nadeline's chest pretty hard, thus as a result, pushing her back a few feet.

Instead of moving as Nadeline would have hoped, Savayna would remain firm. Of all the days for her to be stubborn, it just had to be today of course. The general clearly wasn't intimidated by the princess (which, in all honesty had some reason, as Savayna was much more intimidating than Nadeline was) and actually seemed amused. She would ask if she was really demanding her, though Nadeline could tell it was the purest form of mockery as a smirk would play on her lips. She would then challenge her, tapping her chest and making the princess stagger back slightly. "How dare you!" Nadeline exclaimed, marching right up to Savayna again. "It would do you well to learn some respect!" She would say (shout) as she would shove Savayna back. "Now get out of my way!"

Savayna smiled in an amused way as NAdeline would flat out demand Savayna to show her respect. It was quite funny to Savayna. She knew that Nadeline always had this shallowness about her, but she thought that the princess would have eased up on it. Maybe it was the day and how it proceeded or maybe it was just her realizing her true colors. Regardless, Savayna would smile still and speak.

"Oh is that so?" Savayna said smirking still, "why do you think I should?" Savayna asked, "Do you think you're entitled to any of my respect? There have only been a few times where you've saved any of us, but that's only through your white magic." Savayna stated as she would once again tap Nadeline's chest, but this time she would continue walking thus making Nadeline go backwards more. "You claim that you view any of us as your dear friends and that you'll do anything to protect us, but that's a lie, ain't it, Nadeline?" Savayna said still doing her previous action. "You're still the same selfish, petty princess that you always have been You think you're entitled to respect cause of your status as a princess!?" By this point the anger in Savayna grew, and she would shove Nadeline to her butt. "Time for a reality check, your highness!" At this point, Savayna practically shouted. "If you want my respect, then GROW UP! Show that you're not just a weak little girl and not some spoiled rich girl that thinks she's entitled to everything!" Savayna had said her piece and left Nadeline alone with all the words that the former general had spoke as she opened the door and walked out. Hopefully it would sink in. If it didn't, then Savayna knew that none of them(the party) would be able to live on the ship with each other for much longer.

Savayna's words stung and would hit Nadeline hard. Perhaps it had been her intention, but as Savayna would leave Nadeline would remain on the floor, clearly distraught. In essence, and as much as she didn't want to admit it, Savayna was right. She was absolutely right. She hadn't done anything to deserve everyone's friendship or companionship. Her frustration and anger had built up and she had let it out on Wesley when the truth of the matter was that she wasn't upset with him, she was upset with herself. Although she was very displeased at his lie, he really had done it for a reason. She should have made herself clear rather than just yell at her. The girl would hug her knees, placing her head on them. She cried.

Grant had decided to check his own supplies as well, finding that for some mysterious reason he had run out of Eye Drops. Go figure. As he would walk to the Supply Room he would hear some of Nadeline and Savayna's argument, though rather than intervene he would turn around. Soon he would find himself lightly tapping Wesley's shoulder. "Say, Wesley, why don't you try to patch things up with Nadeline?" He asked him, motioning to the Supply Room. "Just try once. For me."

While WEsley was gathering his things for the trip to The Great Crystal in Giruvegan, Grant would tap him on his shoulder and ask him to patch things up with Nadeline. Wesley looked at him with unsure eyes. "I-I don't think she wants to, Grant." Wesley said as he was about eighty percent sure that he was right. That's when Grant would request it as a favor to him. Wesley looked at Grant. "I'll try." Wesley simply said as he went towards the Supply Room.

When Wesley neared to the door, he heard some kind of noise. He would place his head gently against the door and he heard...crying. Instantly, WEsley opened the door as he turned the nob, and the door opened. He saw Nadeline hugging her knees, head buried into them, and she was crying. Without any thought or hesitation, Wesley practically dragged his feet on the floor, went to his knees and looked at Nadeline, hand on her cheek. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked her.

Wesley? No, it couldn't be him. Nadeline would raise her tear-streaked face at his touch, and unless her eyes deceived her, it really was him. Before she could respond, she would hiccup slightly and use her sleeves to wipe her face. "How embarrassing...I didn't think anyone would come here." She would mutter, sniffling a little as she would look at Wesley, bearing a very defeated expression. She opened her mouth as if to tell him something, but it seemed she could not find the words for it. She simply stared at him, and after a moment she would simply pull him into a hug.

"Please don't ever keep the truth from me again." She mumbled into his chest.

When Nadeline looked at him, Wesley just smiled. She would state how embarrassing it was for her to be in the condition that she was in. Wesley would notice that she wiped whatever tears she had with her sleave and as if on that very moment, she pulled him in for a hug and she would mumble some words. Wesley closed his eyes and embraced her slightly tighter into the hug. "Never again." He simply said, telling her he will never keep any truths from her, no matter how dire or whatever.
As Savayna would walk down the hallway, and went down some, she would run into Grant and she just sighed. "Boy oh boy, your niece can get under my skin sometimes." She said sighing again, but this time much louder than before.

As Savayna would sigh, Grant couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. She would then mention Nadeline and how irritable she could be. He was more than glad that he did not intervene, as he couldn't see himself really taking anyone's side. Savayna would sigh once more, a little louder; clearly she had been exasperated with the princess. At this, Grant couldn't help but smile to himself. It was to be expected, after all, the two women were fiercely stubborn and when they didn't see eye to eye, things could get messy. "Have a little patience, she is still young." He would reassure her the best he could. "She means well, most of the time. She wants to be strong, but can rub people the wrong way." He shrugged.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Savayna said to Grant.

Huffing in annoyance, Savayna knew that Grant was right. Still, of the time that all of them have been living on the Ifrit together, she would think that her...affection towards Nadeline would have at least toned down to levels that she would be able to not fight with her every second. Gods know that when they first met, they fought all the damn time. Still, perhaps what she said to Nadeline was a little harsh. Perhaps she should apologize or maybe she should just leave Nadeline alone for the time being.

"So, I know you knew about Emiri's and JAakuna's problem, and that wonder boy made you promise to keep it a secret." Savayna said looking at Grant.

Grant was glad that Savayna understood. She could be a hot head, but deep down she cared. Mostly. At least he hoped so. Of course that was also when Savayna would bring up precisely what made Nadeline and Wesley fight in the first place: Jaakuna's secret. "In all fairness I wanted to say something." Grant would raise his hands in defense. "And Jaakuna DID plan on telling everyone after our night out...things just happened to go south a lot sooner before we could even discuss it." He would explain to her. "If everything had gone smoothly, everyone would have known and we could have worked things out. Jaakuna would not have taken off...Emiri wouldn't have forgotten everything...it's just all bad timing." At this point he had to wonder if he was explaining things to her or trying to assure himself of the reason.

Savayna just smiled and laughed as Grant would just go on and on about what would have happened. She would just let him finish as she looked at him with a smirk. Once he finished, she spoke. "Just calm it down, Grant." She said placing both hands on both of his shoulders. "I'm not mad, not at all. Honestly, if I were in your position, I would have kept the secret too." She told him, probably reassuring his obvious nervousness about the topic and smiling at him and for a moment she just stared at him. For that one moment, it was silent, just a chilling stare and then she closed her eyes. "Besides, I know that you would never keep a secret from me in fear of what would happen to you." She said as she roughly patted his shoulders and kiss him on the cheek.

As Savayna would reassure him, it would be Grant's turn to sigh. "This is why I don't like to keep secrets." He muttered. Yeah, he had been assuring himself, not explaining things to her. At that point he would stare at her, contemplating something. "With that being said...I could use an opinion." He said as he would absentmindely pat the side of his chest--where the letter from Vlyn remained. "While you were all in Balfonheim we went to Rozarria, I went to the castle...you see, in Anther is where...it's where Emiri's father was stationed." He would speak very quietly at that point, lest Emiri overhear or walk by. "Her father seems...alive, at the very least. However, the same cannot be said about her mother." He would reveal this to Savayna with much reluctance. "I think Emiri has every right to know all things considered, but with everything that has happened...I am at a loss. I have informed Jaakuna of this but..."

As Grant told Savayna about what he did in Stigma, he would inform her about how there was an explosion in Stigma's magicite mine of Anther and how Emiri's father was stationed there. He would also tell her that Emiri's father was barely alive. Instantly, Savayna felt bad for Emiri. That was when Grant said that he thought that Emiri deserved to know, but was hesitant to tell her about it cause of what happened. He also mentioned that he told Jaakuna. Savayna could only imagine how that went for him. Still, she would look at him.

"I think until she can get her memories back, it's best not to tell her." Savayna said, "Though, I wish to know how Jaakuna took it. I could only imagine he was pretty pissed about it and I'm not just talking about the explosion." Savayna said, obviously hinting to how Emiri's memory was gone and it was under Grant's watch.

"I haven't told everyone how it happened. Though I will say it was entirely my fault." Grant would admit. "Against my better judgment I let Emiri go after Jaakuna. Someone in Rabanastre said they had seen him go to the Westersand. It was a lie, and that isn't even the worst part." The prince would pause for a moment, as if contemplating whether to continue or not. Oh well, too late to back away at this point, right? "During this time there was an absolutely terrible sandstorm. While we were riding we got attacked...and I lost Emiri in the desert. It wasn't until the sand had settled that I had found her. She had used her power to fight...when I got to her she was in pretty bad shape. She was even hallucinating...she thought I was Jaakuna." He would finally get the truth out in the open. "So...yes. I am to blame. If I had convinced her to stay...hell, if I could have just looked after her properly she would not have overused her power and she would not have forgotten everything she knew and loved." There. He said it.

When Grant explained how exactly the events led up to Emiri losing her memory, she would just look at him. She would not say anything. All Savayna would do was listen and let him finish. She really didn’t know what to say to it. Sure, she could make some snarky remark or just something that was funny, but she didn’t. Savayna just looked at him as she clearly saw a distraught and, well lost Grant. She saw that he truly felt like it was his fault that he couldn‘t convince her to stay on the Ifrit, that he lost her in the sandstorm, and that she was forced to use her powers, which led to her esper, Chaos, to wipe her slate clean.

Savayna, not even saying a single word, walked into Grant’s personal space, and she hugged him. She would wrap her arms around him, and rest her head on her chest. “It’s okay. “ That’s all she said. She just wanted to let her actions speak louder than her words.
