As Seishu spoke, Enasi's hands slowly removed themselves from his hair. "Time in my realm? What are you talking about? I have- there's no need to apologize." Before he could go on telling Seishu that it was fine, he paused to let the male continue. His smile faded a little and he stared in confusion. Seishu smiled at him. . . But staring in his eyes, Enasi didn't see much happiness in them.
He's not happy. . . He's hiding something.
The guardian didn't smile back, but he did nod in understanding. "I guess you're right. . ." He slowly stood up, following Seishu out. It was silent for awhile, but Enasi spoke up. "Unpleasant. . . You've suffered far worse in my own realm. It's unnecessary for you to get so. . .upset." He looked ahead as they walked through the forest and back towards the pool. His eyes roamed the world, not in wonder as before, but to make sure the world had not changed. "And also, I have plenty of time to be in my realm. I don't need to see it here. . . And we can stay a little longer. I don't mind. You've been away from your minions far too long. And as a guardian I understand your need to see them. I'm not going to deprive you of that. We don't have to leave tomorrow."
Surprisingly, it wasn't much of a suggestion. Enasi was practically telling him that they'd stay a bit longer. His arms went behind his back and he held his hands together. It fell silent again and Enasi looked at the dark blue grass.
I don't know what to say to him. . .
If he didn't talk then he's probably going to keep hiding it. . .
Why won't you talk to me?
A sudden guilt made him hold his hands together tighter. It was his fault. . . There was no doubt about it. He sighed under his breath.
I'm always ruining things. . .
Gyah, I'm such an idiot!
It didn't help much that he didn't know what he did. . . It only proved his point further. He was doing a good job at not expressing his turmoil aloud. Even with the World's help, he would have probably shown a facial expression at least. . . But, somehow Enasi managed to keep a normal expression, staring down at the grass as it swayed back and forth.
He was so happy. . .
Such a sudden change in heart.
When he sighed this time, it was a little louder. Probably loud enough for Seishu to hear, if he was paying any attention.
