Idea:
- A Slice of Life Cirque Du Soleil -esque rp. Not restricted to be exactly like Cirque, just a base for the concept.
- Rp would follow the lives of the performers, trainers, directors, perhaps regular show viewers. Lots of content will be inside the training facility that can also house the performers if we'd like. Throughout the rp I will set up shows that the performers will be building up to through practices.
- Always open, long-term potential
- Supernatural or no supernatural? I was thinking no supers, keep it in reality to keep the rp grounded, but perhaps the mass would prefer otherwise? State your opinion!
- Peril is in the title meaning this is intended to be an intense rp riddled with danger, drama, pain, the bad and the good. It's Slice of Life for professional circus performers but more like Slice of Life With A Bit Of Arsenic...but no killing. :) I'll have some ideas but bring with you some plots with your characters. I'll set the stage if enough interest is out there.
- Characters should be a little crazy, odd-ball, eccentric, anomalous. Each character will be required to have certain peculiar attributes that make them different, following the stereotype of circus performers tending to be divergent in society. Baggage is always good. Bad habits, bring 'em on. You get the idea.

So, what kind of characters are you guys planning on entering?

MAybe... we can all have characters whose families in circus accidents and we all become vigilantes because a man with a batman costume saw potential in us...
Just kidding.

I was thinking about trying a girl, since I've mainly played guy characters on the guild. I was thinking trapeze artist or something along that line...

Ok cool! To confirm this will be strictly realistic, real life rp so no super powers. Performers are professional and skilled.

I'll be playing the creator of the show and over all producer.

Here are some other roles that can be filled:

* Director and Creative Guide - Directs the shows creation from start to finish. Can have NPC assistants. Controls all aspects of the show from choreography, design, script, lighting, sound and gains support from the crew/actors on their vision and seeing that vision fulfilled. Works closely with the Creator of the show. (1 position)

*Lead Trainer - can be performer as well but ensures training and practices run to plan and schedule (1 position)

* Costume designer (1 position)

*Performers with various specialties - acrobat, contortionist, trapeze, can be in multiple but be realistic in abilities (unlimited positions)

**** if you think of another position just ask! As long as it makes sense I'm sure I'll be fine with it.

Start making CSs but I'm on vacation so it'll be between now and Sunday when I can get the OOC up and the rp running.

Hmm scratch the CS part. I want to post our CSs in the OOC.

Once I post the OOC everyone can start adding their characters. I'll have more details then too such as details for CSs, name of the show, background of the show, location, etc. I want to start the rp off strong. Hopefully I can get to a computer tonight.

Lol @ Sheriff there won't be a pre made plot but I do have something planned for when the rp gets going that will affect everyone mwuahaha >:)

Every character is required to have a fault, something off about them. Can be social issues, a mute, drinking habit, on the run using different identity, you name it. I have one big thing planned for the rp but the story will start in training practice so everyone can interact and get familiar with each other

Characters can be seasoned or new as day 1 will be the start of a new show in the making.

Until OOC is up for CSs you guys can hash out character ideas and maybe we'll get a few more players

I have a question, I see that the tech side of show organization falls under the Director, but is there say, a lighting guy that the Director commands? One if my characters would be the tech guy, managing everything from lighting to sound and tons of behind-the-scenes tech stuff. Would a tech lackie like that be okay?
