Jalo was never fond of how strict the rules were for them, especially since the government had messed up the housing plans. Would he ever be getting some form of compensation for that? It wasn't something they could express in English, though, so they would have to take the next opportunity they got to say something. "You all are so weird..." Jalo mumbled, getting up and following Medousa.

"Are you trying to say I'm not cute?" Medousa asked, temper rising. Even if she was an alien, she was still a girl. Her wings unfurled, flapping threateningly in the air, Meeousa'a body floating and inch or two above the ground. Medousa flew forward, arms forming into a headlock around Kaito.

"You..." Medousa growled. Her aura became more prominent and her horns started glowing slightly. One glowed blue and one red, the same as her eyes. She was half fire dragon and half ice dragon. Flames started flickering on Medousa's skin, threatening to engulf her, while ice coated some, chilling part of her.

The explanation seemed clunky at best, but considering Kaito was in a headlock Jalo simply accepted it. They still didn't understand, but at least they understood it was something with children. Upon the teacher's remark, they backed away from Medousa, nearer to Vindle. "Medousa, please..." He wasn't sure he wanted to get involved in this, and trailed off.

As they got into town and the streets started getting more crowded, Jalo found themselves gradually moving closer to Kaito, feeling uneasy. They had always hated crowds.
