Amaryllis ran, her feet pounding on the hard wet ground. She looked behind her and saw it gaining on her. "Shit" she muttered, she'd left her stuff at home. Stupidly she thought she wouldn't need it. She noticed an alleyway and zipped down it. Seeing the barbed wire fence she grimaced and made a choice. She jumped it, her arm getting caught. She screamed out but didn't stop, she ripped it free and continued to run. It was making noise behind her, groaning, gurgling noises that made her want to vomit. She could see her safehouse up ahead, if she could get in she'd be fine. She let herself smile.

As she saw the safehouse get closer she ran faster, skidding to a halt when another monster wandered in front of her. They'd planned this, to get her here and kill her. She let out a whimper and stopped dead. She stood panting as the two monsters stood either end of the street, eyeing her up, as if they were considering their next move.She closed her eyes, her chest heaving and tears leaking from her closed eyes.

Looking through the scope of his rifle, Dustin lined the crosshairs up towards the shambling husk of what had once been a human; someone's father, someone's son. It didn't matter in a world like this, he inhaled slowly and held his breath, slowly squeezing the trigger and exhaling as the bullet flew through the barrel.

"Shit" Lee yelled as he ran away from the horde if monsters. Lee was not they type that would curse in this type of situation, but times had changed, and Lee just about cursed for everything. Lee ran down an empty neighborhood street, hoping to find away to out run the pack of infected on his ass. Lee turned back only to that they were gaining on him. Lee made a sharp turn to the right, making a break for a large 2 story home. With all the force he could muster as he ran, Lee smashed open the door the house and immediately without hesitation pushes the door shut, holding it in place as the infected howled and pounded of it. "Come on, come on " Lee mumbled as he looked around the room for something the barricade it. Lee smiled when he saw the table just an arms length away from him. He grabbed the table and pushed it against the door. Walking back slowly as the infected tried to get the door opened Lee laughed" how do you feel suckers, can't catch me know" Lee yelled. That all ended when Lee heard moaning behind him. He turned around slowly and looked down the hall, standing there was a tall infected man breathing hard. The only thing Lee could say before the man ran at him was "You got to be kidding me".

Adelger Hauffe walked along the streets, avoiding the undead and walking along to find other survivors. He had just left one of the vaults and took his Kbz wz. 1988 tental, his mars Automatic Pistol, and his blade and killed undead when they got too close. As he walked, he saw multiple things. One being a woman in the street, with two zombies on the sides of the road and one infront of her. He grunted and shot the zombies with his 1988 Tantal, and they, suprised for a moment, fell over, dead. He walked over to the woman. "You alright?" he asked, as more zombies ran out of an alleyway, a small horde. "God damn..." he said as he began walking backwards with his gun pointed at the zombies. "They've been following me all day..." he muttered to himself before letting the Tental loose on the zombies, shooting multiple holes all over most of the zombies, and most of them fell over. "You get to your safehouse." he ordered the woman before taking out his Mars and aiming for the heads of the zombies, shooting them.

Amaryllis nodded, her face shocked. "Thank you, you should- should come to the safehouse when you're finished" she said softly. She started to run towards it, getting to the building and prying open the window, she slid through and closed it again. Breathing heavily she took a moment to collect herself, wiping at her eyes. She walked through the hall and up to her "bedroom" so she could watch the action on the street. She couldn't believe her luck, someone kind enough to save her, usually most would leave you to die. She looked over at the weapons chest she'd kept and decided she was going to keep at least a knife on her when she left the house, it was a stupid mistake to make. Leaving a weapon at home.
