Yes cos women are just a weight on men's shoulders and they'll just keep complaining about conditions/food/everything.
Ehmmm... no... not at all.

I was just kidding. Your char is a healer so it actually rly fits as well. But why would Hazel join a group like that? I have no say about what characters we use in this RP, I'm just curious so don't misunderstand me. Hazel's apparently a bit spoiled and even travels with her family AWAY from the North, which is where we're going right...? .....right? :/
Like, why would any actual high born noble join a group of commoners?

Na Hazel is gonna be fine, all she has to do is learn how to eat hardtack and basically sleep on the ground alongside with us commoners.

Well she is still on route to the capital, just when we start she's going to be sitting in Aurora. Since my character is a mercenary it makes more then sense for him to be hired as a guard, at least that's one possibility I see, who knows how everything would actually play out.

He even said this game he got back into took up a lot of his time. I don't blame him for that, but he should just start the Ic first and not have his own char if he won't have the time to post for him anyways.
I make my CSs on the spot, I never understood how people take days to develop a char, but it explains why my CSs are usually shit.

Eh, gotta understand life gets in the way too often right? Personally I'm fine if he needs to focus on other things right now, but to be honest might have been best to at least let us start writing IC, we generally get the idea and first few post are going to be us just establishing our characters in the world proper.

Well, from the feel I got with what evershadow has written I thought the characters would have some amount of free agency, and Hazel wouldn't necessarily have to join everyone else immediately. And besides that the wonderful narrative power of circumstance may leave Hazel with no choice but to cast off with strangers. Truthfully though, I just wanted to make a character that was somewhat unique and out of my comfort zone, as a non-combatant spoiled princess.
