I'd like to start by telling you a bit about myself. I'm an experienced role-player. Most of my experience is with d20 systems and free form. I'm almost 40 and have spent most of my life roleplaying. I've come to prefer solos over the years because of the complications of group play. Don't get me wrong, the right group is fantastic. But getting that group is the real challenge isn't it? I've also really learned to appreciate the romantic elements of roleplaying which again is a bit harder in a group setting.

So I've been searching online through the various role playing groups and found this site with this particular forum which seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

So first I'd like to say where I'm coming from and then acknowledge that with the right partner I'm willing to try a lot of different things. Over the years my tastes lead me to high fantasy, certain flavors of sci-fi, apocalypse, and certain modern day fantasies. Right now, being a guy, I prefer to play guys, but I've played girls before as the GM and while I've certainly had some fun in that area, I'm still not entirely comfortable with the full immersion. I have a similar issue with playing a character that is pure evil. That being said, I'm interested in breaking into new thoughts and patterns of play to broaden my horizons. But, in the beginning, I'd like to start with something I'm familiar with.

So here's what who I hope to find for a partner:
- A fairly patient, mature player.
- Posts are from casual to high casual, maybe the occasional advanced post
- Posts are basically once a day or averages close to that. Time off now and then is not uncalled for. More frequent posts are acceptable if they work for us both.

Please note - The maturity level of the game is in the air. I don't want a smut game but if the storyline leads somewhere interesting, I'm willing to follow. We should talk about it if you are interested and have questions.

Most of the concepts I have a basic plot in mind, others are just appealing ideas. I'm happy to talk specifics with the right person.

Hello, I'm 19, female and interested in rp! I like one-on-one mostly because its fun and I agree less of a hassle to deal with others. I've been rping for about 9 years however, and though sometimes my vocab can be a bit limited sometimes or not properly spelled. I do try to keep proper punctuation and double check my words at all times, especially with the online dictionary if I don't know or remember how it is spelled. I am a major paragrapher, so I like to post BIG. If thats not an issue, I'm willing to get started! :P
