I think that sounds good. :)
I have a kind of idea for them as well. What if the aliens had a different colored blood? Like blue or purple? And maybe though the cloaking device hides their apperence, maybe even with being cloaked when they bleed, their blood is still that color?

XD Thats true. I just thought maybe he could hide it by wrapping them up before she could see and such. But if you don't think it would work then we can leave that out.

lol, I think adrenaline makes minor injuries unnoticeable, there is no way he'd be able to catch all his injuries before she noticed them so let's skip on that for now.

XD okay. We'll say the cloaking device hides the different colored blood. But maybe later on something causes a slight malfunction in the device that woudl cause it to show the different colored blood? Or maybe even flicker his appearance here or there, causing her think shes going crazy(maybe this is after her first time getting scratched or bitten by the zombies, making her think shes hallucinating)?
By the way, sorry if these ideas seem out there. I just got over being sick and so I'm not thinking too clearly right now XD

Yeah XD It sucks.

So, I have a question that is sort of iffy. What if, somehow, Cassie was half alien? I know I put her mother had died when she was a baby, so what if her mother was an alien that had come to earth with her kind to help pick out those humans who would be infected first? And during her time there, she had had fallen in love with a human and had a child with him unknown to her own people until it was too late? It would also give reason for them to want to have killed she and her father, but when they went to do so, they only found her father, her being in the secret room of the house hiding? And woul also give a reason why she would be immune, as aren't the aliens immune to the virus? IDK, just an idea XD

I think the aliens are some what immune. I think it makes them sick in a different way. Probably gives them a bit of a fever and wares them down but doesn't turn them into zombies ^^ sort of like a 24 hour flu. Maybe its the mix of alien and human DNA that makes the right genetics for complete immunity though. Of course the whole part alien makes me think of April from the TMNT show on Nick but I don't have a problem with it. I don't think Rex knows about it though.

Haven't watched the new series XD I can see Rex not knowing though. I can see not many of his kind knowing about it except for the higher ups.
Well, maybe she does get sick when scratched or bitten by them? That would make her think she's hallucinating with the fever and all. But the sickness like you said would oly last at most 24 hours, if not shorter.
And maybe she has an alien form as well, except she's been cloaked as well. Maybe her mother was the one to design the first cloaking system and when she found out she was pregnant created a cloaking device of her own that was implanted under her skin, like a microchip? if not, than maybe just a piece of jewelry Cassie never takes off because she knew her mother gave it to her, like a bracelet or a necklace? or maybe she just has an alien form that she can switch too, but because she doesn't know about her being half alien, she has never switched to it before?

Honestly I imagine she's more of hybrid... maybe her feathers just never grown in =p
With heavy human bones she'll never be able to fly anyhow. Not to say Rex's kind actually can fly...
But truthfully, no cloaking device could truly take on the illusion of a full human. Rex is still lighter than he should be and not as durable as a human. And some other things I probably just haven't thought up yet...

I like Nick's TMNT by the way, it's cute and more recently... rather badass and tragic.

What qualities do you think should should keep them from the aliens? Surely she has some other than just her immunity right?
And yeah, i kind of figured the cloaking device wouldn't affect things like his weight or the fact he's more breakable than humans.

Surely... I'm just trying to think of what she got from those genes. Perhaps enhanced senses. Sight and hearing anyhow- probably helped her avoid the zombies all this time.

Yeah, I can see advanced senses. Probably speed too. Like she's not as breakable as the aliens, but her bones are still more light weight than the average human. I'm thinking at least one physical attribute though should be there. IDk That it should be though XD

Faster than a normal human but not as fast as a full blood asiran.

It would have to be something abnormal but not so much that she ever felt the need to really question it. Maybe they can do some crazy double jointed stuff that normal humans can't do and she can too? Whatever that may be.

Yeah of course not as fast as the full blooded, but still faster than a normal human should be.

Maybe she has a a marking on her that she always just considered a birthmark but in reality is one that all the asiran have? Or maybe she has some piece of jewelry not a cloaking device r another but just a normal bracelet or necklace) that could have only come from asiran that was given to her when she was born by her mother? Kind of like a piece of Cassie's other self as her mother would have called it?

Sure she could have some sort of asiran jewelry, so she would 'never lose her true self'. Some sort of reminder though Cassie doesn't technically know she is part alien so it's probably just sentimental to her.
