is it okay if I say that im going up the hill to get to a noble so I can steal some of their cash for me and some medicine for the poor people? I am a thief so the only place I could really go is an inn nearby and help the people that are poor like I used to be

sure, do what makes sense for your character

Good job on the post Jangel, interesting character. The numerous typos bugged me but the overall idea was cool.

sorry about the typos, its a flaw when I get into my muse and start typing out a story. don't worry it will get better as the role play goes on.

also I wasn't sure about what currency you want to use so I just went with coins (gold, silver, copper) kind of deal

I could have mentioned that, but coins was good. I would say coins is fine as the main currency is Capitol Coins, which as the name hints are minted in the Capitol city. Each city at one point had their own currency but this caused trade between cities to be very difficult as was abandoned years ago.

So let's say I find a set of urbi lubi trade coins, that would be considered highly valuable?

The opposite in fact. Since it's hard to spend them outside the city no one will want them anymore.

Knowledge is often a valuable treasure that takes no physical capacity to carry. Just saying....

yes I know knowledge is a powerful thing and all that but knowing isn't going to help my character give meds to the doctor or give money to the kids begging on the street :'(
if its a valuable treasure it means it can be sold off, and money can be used to help others

True, though knowledge has been sold for money throughout all of time.

Moving on though I'm sure you can come up with something creative. Perhaps the Illuminous or White Cross would be the next target for loot.

True but you mean informants and their hardly trustworthy if their willing to give you information on the other side.

Well I've got plenty of ideas of holy relics that the white cross would own if you will indulge me

The young King Julian is seen as a deity to some degree. He's an albino, pale skin, white eyes, white hair. He's also suffers from thrombocytopenia, which causes low platelets in the blood and thus means even a small injury could cause him to bleed out. Because of this he is hardly ever seen out in the open and when he is he is surrounded by The White Cross. His ailments are known by few and it is common belief that Julian is a fallen angel meant to lead mankind to a new age.

Though he is physically fragile he is highly intelligent. He's an adept strategist that has won several conflicts against the ever growing bandit threat. He is also highly interested in the forgotten age and has been successful to some degree in uncovering forgotten technologies. (The White Cross's double layered armor is a result of this) His intelligence has earned him respect and his ailments have created mystery, it is because of this he is borderline godlike.

Going back to your question, each region may have it's own gods though none are widely popular. The closest you would get to that is Arenious, the city in which The Illuminous are from and it's not so much a god people worship but the clergy itself. It is those people I mentioned before that have "magic". I don't want to spoil that too much now though because we're not roleplaying in that city just yet. Maybe when this is more popular I'll go in detail about each region/city.

..........uhh, good to know about the albino super genius. to be honest I was hoping to try and steal something like "the holy sword of _____" or maybe "the forgotten scriptures of ____" etc. I could try and talk to this supposed god and see if my character will talk connect with him considering he is a thief that tries to help the weak

lol sorry about the rant. Closest to a deity I could get. Guess I don't write about religion much...and the king's in another city so that doesn't help you.

I have no idea what you could steal. Maybe some dragon lord gear ended up somewhere.
