So, this is the thread. In case you need my CS again for reference purposes, here it is:
Name: Jacob 'The Jackal' Riskinner
Age: 30
Appearance: Jacob is a rather short man for his job at 6'2, and even though it isn't superior as far as pirates go, he makes up for what he doesn't have in height in muscle and attitude. His arms are well-built, and he shows it off by wearing a pirate vest without sleeves. His vest is mainly a deep, rich red, and on the inside it is royal blue, the two colours of his crew. On his forearms he wears gold bracers, and around his neck he wears a thick gold chain. On his head he wears a large black pirate hat rimmed with a bold, silver lining. A white feather is on his hat, and there is an elaborate, small symbol, one that shows status in his crew. It showed that he was, indeed, the captain, and that he should be addressed as such. He wears tanned, baggy pants that are tucked into mid-shin height black boots. He wears a dark blue cloth around his hip, tied into a knot.
Jacob's hair is scruffy and dark brown, and his face contains pointed, nearly-chiseled features. He has prominent cheekbones. He has a smaller mouth, and his eyes are a hazel-brown. He has slight freckles, a facial feature that hasn't gone away from his childhood. On his shoulder he has a deep scar, from a fight long ago with his father, one of his biggest enemies to this day.
Family: He has two brothers, both of whom are traders in large cities. They handle the trading and selling of goods from Jacob's fleet, since he often plunders other pirate's ships for goods such as wood, ammo, and sugar, three things that are crucial in making money for a pirate. Jacob and his father have an extremely toxic relationship, one that has been going on since Jacob was a young teenager. His father disagreed with Jacob's ways at first, but when Jacob became one of the most successful pirates, his father became jealous instead. His mother died of infection.
Skills: Jacob has a large cutlass for his main weapon, and his rather proficient is using it. He was trained by a family friend, who has already passed away due to old age. He also carries pistols, but almost never uses them, for he has a very unsteady hand. His hands are quite shaky due to a tremor that he'd always had. It is more of a last-resort option. In his belt, he also carried smoke bombs for escape purposes only.
Personality: Jacob is confident. He thinks he is the best for working hard to be as good as he was. Since he worked many long hours as a child doing hard physical labour for his father, Jacob learned how much work it took to succeed, and he has no tolerance for laziness. If his crew is slacking off, he believes there should be a big punishment. Jacob also doesn't care much about the poor, but not because of selfishness, but because he believes that the rich deserves the money they have. He believes that the rich worked very hard to get what they have, and they deserve every penny.
Jacob doesn't enjoy debates, for he believes that he is almost always right, and when he isn't he gets frustrated and tries to convert the other person to believe in his ideals. Jacob doesn't enjoy feeling frustrated, so he avoid getting into discussions. When he does get into arguments, however, he goes all-out and uses all the logic he has to convince the other person.
Other: His personal, large battleship ship is named The Black Tortuga. His crew is composed of 24 men, and he has a first mate named Pierre, a man who he has known since he was in his teens. Pierre was determined to become a captain, but agreed to help Jacob lead his crew.
