I am trying to expand my roleplay horizons. I have always been a one on one type role player. /however, as I have come up with a number of ideas, I wanted to transition to forum style. I am still getting used to the site - yes, even after a month - but I am up for it. I just would like some help. Some collaboration or someone to show me the ropes would be fantastic.
If you would like the gist of some of my ideas, I will give you some summaries through PM. I will include genres though:
Egyptian
Fantasy - Spirits, Demons, Humans.
War
Ninjas (Likened to Naruto)

Rather than PM those who can give input, you could put the info here or better yet, make a thread in the General Interest Checks and let players vote and give you feedback and what they'd like to do. It's good to create a healthy back and forth with your players and starting small might be a good way for you to step into the role of GM. Maybe you'd like a group of 3-4 players who you can get to know. The topic is secondary in regards to how you articulate yourself, your concept and how you handle being in the GM position. I would say, give it a go and understand that GMs come in many different styles.
