Chapter 2 : A Grave Situation
A Skull Kid by the name of Ekra
wanders into Kakariko Village. A man by the name of Angus, selling his wares at the festival, meets Ekra and the two become instant BFFs. Their meeting is abruptly interrupted by what appears to be a tall man covered in armor—a darknut named Maryev who, yearning for something to eat, pushes his way indignantly through the crowd. A fight nearly breaks out when Angus confronts him, but
the two part ways in mere frustration.Lethe continues bossing people around—or attempting to, rather. She convinces Izzaz to visit an old woman named Madame Astrid and retrieve an
artifact from her. Magus refuses to go looking for Lethe's Chosen Ones and is instead inclined to wait by the Shadow Temple's entrance, where he feels an
ominious presence festering from inside.
Upon being rescued, Jira instantly
flees from the dingy basement in shame. Cain pursues him in an effort to lure him to the graveyard. Felicia, left alone, takes pity on one of her captors and tends to his wounds—narrowly managing to escape as a result. She lingers by the fountain, debating whether or not she wants to get mixed up with a “shady” character like Cain whilst Nil casually captures her torment as another drawing inside his sketchbook. Frore, not but a few feet away and caring little for Lethe’s demands, discovers the joy of eating. Having finally convinced Jira to get with the program, Cain goes on to usher Frore to the graveyard and convince Felicia to go there as well.
Zephyrus the Shiekah and Archer the Shiekah halfling are found by Veitaru meandering about Kakakriko as they hope to find out why their dreams had summoned them there. Veitaru begins to lead them back to the graveyard—ultimately leaving them behind in her haste, coupled with their leisurely pace. [

Meanwhile, Nil’s attempts to escape the oddity of seeing a Shiekah like Zephyrus walking about and a crude woman of the licentious variety named Yolanda confronts him.
She invites him to the graveyard under the guise of needing someone to do a family portrait for a fat sum of rupees.
Izzaz runs into an old "bedmate" on his way to Madame Astrid’s— and is
grudgingly distracted. Damn women with their wiles and such, am I right? He opts not to follow through with Lethe's demands.
Just as Jira, Frore, and Cain arrive at the graveyard, Lethe quickly departs to go about finding the other Chosen Ones she spoke of—as does Cain shortly after.
Maryev sits himself down outside of the graveyard to devour his meal just before Felicia enters. She skirts by fearfully whilst Cain watches. Noticing that Maryev seems to be one of the Chosen Ones, he
offers him work in hopes of luring him to the graveyard and joins Felicia on her way there. Maryev joins them
grudgingly.
Angus and Ekra, on their own agenda to visit the grave of the blacksmith's parents, wander into the graveyard as well—not paying much mind to the odd assembly of people standing together awkwardly. [
x] Cain captures their attention and gives them the
destiny-spiel. Everyone confirms that they’ve been hearing whispers in the night.
Veitaru arrives and, shortly after, so do Zephyrus and Archer—preceded by a mute Shiekah named
Griz. A second darknut, albeit much less subtle and unconventionally friendly, randomly wanders into the graveyard and introduces himself as
Epicoron.
Words become heated as everyone discusses potential reasons for being summoned to the grave when Lethe finally arrives-- followed by several others. [
x] She announces the return of the Evil King, Ganondorf and that the Hero of Time will not return to vanquish him. It is revealed that the Goddess (referring to the Goddesses, three), has chosen all of those present to save Hyrule from utter destruction and it is up to them whether or not they are up to the task.
