I took a lot of interest in the Telltale Game called The Wolf Among Us, and fell in love with the lore! So I started to do some (very small) research on the comics the game was based off of, "Fables"
For those who don't know, the plot goes something along the lines of this:
All the fairy tales and folklore, and nursery rhymes that people have been telling for years are actually real, and live in a place called the Homelands, a very large world separated in kingdoms and regions. Most of the Fables were exiled from the Homelands by the Adversary, who conquered most of the kingdoms. Most of the Fables moved to North America, and settled in what would eventually become New York City in 1665.
Fabletown is split in to two regions, Bullfinch Street in the Upper West side of New York, and a place called The Farm, a place where animal Fables and fables who can't be disguised with magic live.
For centuries the Fables have lived here, and have been ruled by a democratic type government lead by King (now Governor) Cole, Ichabod Crane, and Snow White. And the person in charge of keeping all these fables from killing each other is the legendary and feared Big Bad Wolf, known today as Sheriff Bigby Wolf. The town goes through things just like any other place, corrupt government, gangs, poverty, and all are trying to make it through their very long lives.

That's the main plot! I really think this would be a fun RP to do! I'll provide a list of all the fables and their backstories if you have one in mind, and I want it to be very clear that we don't have to follow any of the games/ comics play by play, we can always mix up the characters a bit, and make it our own while still giving credit to the characters created haha

I'd also like to point out that Fables are very tough to kill, but they can be. Some even can be brought back to life if their legend is still popular with non-Fables,(AKA: Mundanes, or "Mundy's") For example, characters like Snow White or Beast from Beauty and the Beast could possibly come back to life after a while if somehow killed.
And some characters didn't make it to Fabletown, or went somewhere else in the world, or just died long before the Adversary took control!
