When Emlyn jumped down and tried to stare daggers at him before his anger burned out, Auriel simply stood there, staring back into the other boy's eyes. He was a bit surprised that nothing happened, but relieved. Auriel wasn't sure what to do after Jack and Savan started laughing. They clearly weren't very serious about the entire situation as it was. They already seemed like a pair of good friends just having fun doing whatever they felt like. Meanwhile, he and Emlyn didn't have much going for them. The team was already fighting, and nobody wanted to sit down and talk things out. The real problem was Emlyn's attitude. Yes, Jack and Savan were acting rudely now, but Emlyn had snapped over a little nickname. Now, the guy was red as a tomato from the laughter, and looked defeated, before turning and making his way out of the room.

Looking between the door and his other teammates, Auriel sighed. "I'm going after him. Have fun playing cards." Holding his demeanor together, Auriel quickly went out the door after Emlyn, calling after the other boy. "Emlyn, wait. You need to lighten up. They were just trying to enjoy themselves. It was a nickname. Do you think I was honored or super thrilled when you started calling me Aury? No, frankly I thought it was silly, but I didn't freak out over it like someone had just insulted my mother and my sister. I don't want this team to crash and burn, but if that's gonna happen you're gonna have to put up with your fair share of stupid shit. I didn't ask to be leader of this team. I just wanted to come here to learn how to fight monsters. But Beacon decided to make me team leader, so we all have to put up with it. Emlyn, just try to deal with these guys, alright?"

He didn't get very far before he realized he didn't know the layout of the school at all. Where was he going to go and not get lost? If he was embarrassed now, he didn't want to imagine how it'd be if he needed assistance getting back to his room. So Auriel's voice was a bit of a bittersweet relief. It was certainly unexpected, no one ever followed when he stormed out, not unless they wanted to rub in the loss. Is that what he was here to do? Auriel didn't seem the type for that, but he'd been surprised a few times today already.

But no, that wasn't the case. He turned to face the leader of the team, even if he couldn't quite look him in the eyes, and listened to what he said. It felt like a lecture, but really, that's what it was. What was he supposed to say that he could? He'd set himself up too early, and now there was too much to dance around and avoid to give a legitimate, solid answer. Auriel was more correct than he'd thought, this would not be easy.

"Fine." He felt his whole body shudder conceding to that, and he straightened back up, adjusting his shirt, and then his scarf. I'm...sorry."

His throat felt raw saying it, but he knew the options were slim, and he'd made a mistake acting how he had. He kept as straight a face as he could and proceeded once again towards the room, stopping as he passed Auriel and spinning about on his heel. A finger extended out at him.

"No one else knows I said that, and I'll deny it to the grave."

Robert continued down the hallways, getting lost and finding himself somewhere he had already been. Each time he found himself in a place that seemed familiar, he made an auditory noise like, "Aargh!" "Gahh!" and "Come on!" Eventually, he did find his way though. "Finally! Made it!" he said aloud, standing at the port for the airships. He approached one of the pilots. "Hey there, uh, sir. Can you take me to the city?" he asked. The man turned and looked at Robert, a fake smile across his face, "I sure can, kid." The man turned his back on Robert and continued doing whatever he was originally doing. Robert stood for a few moments, expecting the man to finish with his work quickly and invite him on the ship or something, but instead he continued looking at his clipboard only occasionally looking up to look at a group of stacked boxes. Robert tried to look over the man's shoulder to see what he was doing. "Can I help you?" the man yelled at Robert. "Yeah, I asked if you could take me to the city." "Well whoopty-fucking-doo," he replied and continued giving Robert the cold shoulder. "First those students from that one other team and now this guy. What is up with people, today?" Robert thought. Then he noticed the man's back pocket. It was obviously filled with a large object, and since people don't usually carry rocks, it was most likely a wallet. He could take the wallet, guy wouldn't even notice, and it's not like he didn't deserve it. But Robert knew it wasn't right, so he grabbed the man's shoulder and turned him around. "Listen, you said you can take me to town. Now are you going to do that, or what?" Robert said, trying to hide his anger. "No, I'm not!" the man said furiously. "For your information, students cannot leave the school at this time. So, go do whatever you annoying kids do here at this school." Robert stood still for a moment, with no idea how to respond. So he walked away, a little mad that he had no rebuttal. "Well what now?" he thought. "Maybe the rest of my team is still in the room. Yeah, I'll head there." As he began walking back to the dorms, he noticed several other students looking at him strangely. "Just keep walking, ignore them," he whispered to himself. He quickly increased his pace and whispered again, "I've gotta learn to stop talking to myself out loud."

Beliya listened at Ineko's explanation, greatly appreciating the sudden decrease in his volume. Of course, a majority of it flew over her head, which was to be expected, with theoretical life growth and energy signatures lower than 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001. This did, however, paint a much better image of Ineko in Beliya's mind, originally she hadn't figured him to be an intellectual, but now she felt that his intellect outstripped her own by leaps and bounds; though she didn't really want to admit that. Clearing her throat slightly, she said: "Fascinating...I'd honestly never have imagined you to have such interests...but, I'm curious, why biomechanical life? Is there even evidence to support such a thing existing naturally?"

As Brucey walked to the room he fumbled with the lock connecting the two ends of the chains wrapped several-fold around his torso and the steamer trunk held firm together by said chains to his back. When entering the room he hunched forward and rotated his upper-body and slowly made his way through the doorway, as to avoid clipping the door with his arms and opening almost-sealed wounds. Brucey sat cross-legged at the foot of the final unoccupied bed and let the chains drop gently so as not make too much noise.

*clink* *clink* *clink* *THUMP* “darn…” Brucey whispered as the lock he had forgotten about hits the ground rather hard. He craned his neck to look at the injured teammate, but he seemed unaffected by it, Bruce shrugged and brought the steamer trunk that he was holding in both hands from behind his back and around to the front and set it down gently. He opened the container to bring out a crudely-made leather vest and a pair of Crudely-weaved pants. Though Bruce had made all of his own clothes, he couldn’t boast about his ability in doing so, however, and Brucey knew this too well… He also took out a large knife and a piece of wood roughly the size of Bruce’s fist. He dropped the clothes in his left hand and put down the knife and wood in his right and gently closed the trunk. He slid the trunk to the side of the bed and grabbed the clothes while he stood up and went to the bathroom to change and wash.

"Fascinating...I'd honestly never have imagined you to have such interests...but, I'm curious, why biomechanical life? Is there even evidence to support such a thing existing naturally?" Beliya asked,
"Biomechanical life would solve lots of problems around here. If we need to expand our walls, just plant seeds in a perimeter and watch a metal wall grow from out of the ground. If we need defenses, plant a seed in the ground and it will grow into a plant that hunts Grimm. Biomechanical prosthetics that allow the feeling of touch, the possibilities are endless." Ineko explained, "And this I suspect is biomechanical." He said, raising his chin again, showing his synthetic throat once more, "If it can be artificially created, chances are it can be made to grow in a natural fashion."

“That is a…interesting name Trico.”

Continuing to focusing on her phone…

C.N.D

“Wow congratulations! How do you feel about it?”

CNYIEEE

“Meh, getting appointed as a leader was surprising. During initiation at FF, I listened to music, and as usual, wasted time on my phone, and then…fell asleep in the bushes. Honestly I am surprised I did not get spotted by the Grimm, let alone getting eaten by them.”

C.N.D

“LOL, LOL, LOL!”

C.N.D

“Well that was funny, and I am quite surprised that you got the position even though you did nothing at FF.”

“The great and mighty Cynthia Nivian Dea, and her trusty weapon…what was the name of it again?”

CNYIEEE

“Lol, it is Daemon in general though I sometimes I call it Metoautohastam and ya…that is all the names I can remember for it right now.”

“I really need to decide on an official name for it…"

C.N.D

“Metoautohastam…is too much to pronounce for a weapon name. Daemon is good name for a weapon. Though any name is good so long it short but grabs the attention of your allies, or opponents.”

“Well I have got to go. My team is going to be doing some activities today.”

“Bye.”

End

With the conversation over, Cynthia remembered what Trico said after talking about her name. She still…focused on her phone now checking her QuickaPic account, looking at random pictures of her followers, and people who she is following.

“Exploring the school sounds nice, in the nighttime… We could have tea tomorrow" as she talked to Trico while focused on her phone.

“I have some personal items that will come in today so expect a lot of people coming into the dorm with a lot of boxes later today” Announcing it to everyone in the room.

“By the way is their supposed to be two more people in here…” as she dropped her phone, (it went quickly into lock mode) and looked around…noticing the shadow of another person between one of the beds and a wall. “Oh wait, there is one of our teammates” As she pointed to the direction of the person sitting between the wall and the bed. “But where is the last one?”

"...It sounds far too good to be true...otherwise, the kingdoms would have poured all their budget from the military and weapons development into it..." Beliya thought as she listened to Ineko's explanation of Biomechanical life. It all seemed too good to be real, walls built in a day, Grimm hunting metal plants, all sounded like fantasy rather than fact.

"...Wait, do you mean that your throat is...biomechanical?" Her curiosity had been peaked, odd as it was. There was something about the nature of his certainty in how this had to work that intrigued her. "...What proof do you have that it is?" Her ears pricked up when the thuds of Bruce's steamer trunk hitting the ground echoed throughout the dorm room, wondering in the back of her mind just what he needed to keep in such a heavy container. It looked like her curiosity on that subject would have to be sated later, Bruce had gone into the bathroom, and she wasn't done asking about Ineko's 'projects'.

Slowly, the cake dropped.

"You... You can't be serious..."

Gren couldn't process this. He just didn't follow. How could this have happened? Gren wanted answers. He wanted to find what the problem is and stop it. But he didn't know what to think. But all he could feel was another great feeling of guilt and self-loathing. "I..." Gren took a deep breath. His face took on a stoney expression as he tried his best not to let his emotions get the better of him. "I am Gren. Gren Orchid. You are Kuhaku Shiro. This is Beacon Academy. You are a hunter. That means that you fight Grimm. We just met each other today, as well as Abel and Bridget." Gren motioned stiffly towards the other two. He continued speaking. "We fought together against a giant robot. Without you... Well, things would have been... Very different..." Gren slowed down and eventually just stopped talking. He didn't know what else to say. He already felt to guilty about endangering angering Abel with his scrap buggy antic, or the fact that he had inadvertently injured Bridget when he dumped the rocks on that mech. And now for relying too much on Kuhaku, he's suffering from amnesia for reasons Gren couldn't even begin to understand.

Gren stood up and took a napkin off the counter and cleaned his cake mess. He went over to the windows, which was just a little bit small than he was. "I'm just... Going to get some fresh air." Gren used his semblance to climb out of the window and walk up towards the roof of the building. He wanted to let out his emotions, but he did not want to burden his teammates with his angst. They're already hurt enough as it is.

"Unfortunately no solid proof, but a coupleof indicators. For one, I can't talk to it." He said, "Well, I can sort of. But I have no idea what it's talking about. I'm working on translating it, but it's coming out slow. I'm not a linguistics expert." He shrugged. He got up and looked at his pile of stuff, "We should really get some tables. How about right now? Hit the town real quick."

As Marwan finishes sharpening SJ, he gets the idea to go out and walk around the school. He quickly cleans up his equipment. Finishing his second taffy bar he gets up and says "I'm going out, I'll be back later." Putting SJ by his side, he walks out. "I think I'll go to the library and see if they have anything good." he says to himself. When he gets to the library he asks the librarian where he can find the books on weaponry and weapon crafting. After obtaining directions he walks over to the specified section and finds a book titled "Crafting With Dust" satisfied with what he found he sits down. Leaning against the bookshelf, he dives into the book.

"Know...? Huh, good one. I'm not a big laugher, you know." Abel said with an irritated look on his face.
Kuhaku brow furrowed as he looked at Abel, confused. He shook his head quietly at him in response. He wasn't joking.
Bridgett spoke next, shock and concern etched on her face, "Kuhaku, don't you recall? This is your partner, Gren."
His eyes met Gren's and he shook his head again. He didn't know who he was. Looking back at Bridgett gesturing to her bandages, she continued.
"You are in the infirmary, we just went through our test and got a little beat up, but we won. We are a team here at Beacon Academy."
Finishing, she suddenly left to speak to a nurse. Tiger ears swiveling, Kuhaku was able to pick up on the faint whispers.

"Kuhaku is finally awake, but something is wrong, is amnesia a possible result of his injuries?" Bridgett asked, questioning the nurse.
The nurse sadly shook his head.
"His head didn't experience any trauma. None of his injuries could have affected his brain. We don't have any clue as to his unexplained seizures either. I'm sorry miss, but I'm a bit busy."
The nurse then left to tend to other students who weren't as fortunate with their injuries from the initiation test.

As a plate of cake splattered on the floor from being dropped, Kuhaku jumped. Startled, he turned his attention back to Gren.
"You... You can't be serious...I..." the large Faunus took a deep breath, his expression hardening.
"I am Gren, Gren Orchid. You are Kuhaku Shiro. This is Beacon Academy. You are a hunter. That means you fight Grimm. We just met each other today, as well as Abel and Bridget." Gren motioned at the other two rigidly.
"We fought together against a giant robot. Without you... Well, things would have been... Very different..." Gren's words slowed until he fell silent.
Picking up a napkin from the counter, he cleaned up the mess from the dropped cake. Afterward, he walked over to the nearest window.
"I'm just... Going to get some fresh air." Then using some strange ability, he opened the window and 'walked' straight out.
Kuhaku couldn't help but be amazed for a short period of time. That must've been his Semblance's unique power.

As Gren left, his ears dropped and his eyes stared at the sheets still covering the lower half of his body. Digesting their words, he collected his thoughts. Straining, he tried his hardest to recall any memory. Only to leave his mind aching, the last memory being his entrance into Forever Falls. Eyes sorrowful, he reached up and removed his oxygen mask. He didn't exactly need it now that he was fully conscious. Looking up at Abel, he swallowed dryly. He knew what had happened. He knew what was wrong.

Mouth slightly agape, his words came slowly and methodically.
"I-...If all of this is true. If what you...all say truly happened..."
He smacked his lips, licking them. His mouth dry.
"I...have to ask...D-..did I use my Semblance?"
He sighed, weary.
"If...if I did use my Semblance, then I know...I know what's going on."
He nodded absently as he exhaled.

"My Semblance is why I can't remember anything. My Semblance can control the information that my mind and other people's minds receive. I can alter a person's senses with that and create mental tricks and illusions. Even going so far as to tricking a person's mind into believing they can do something they can't normally. In a way, it controls the way the brain filters information. But, in return it puts a heavy strain on my own mind. The information that it receives from me using my Semblance is too much for it to handle and store. So, to stop itself from deteriorating it...'resets' itself. Shutting down my senses and body, I get these...horrible seizures. When I get 'reset'...My mind erases the excess of information." Pausing, he looked at his hands and searched their lines for...what?

Placing his hands down onto his lap, he scoffed and shook his head. Chuckling, he looked up them and smiled a broken smile.
"My memories included..."
Smiling brighter, he continued. Though his oddly bright expression seemed fractured and unnatural.
"Oh, don't worry. It's happened to me before. I mean, I can't even remember my parents' faces!"
He laughed.
"Ha ha! Just think of this as a fresh start! A way for us to get to know each other again anew!"
Reaching a hand out for anyone to take and shake, he maintained his distorted happy expression.
"It's probably been said many times already but, I'm Shiro Kuhaku! You can keep calling me Kuhaku, but just know that that's my surname. My first name is Shiro. It's nice to meet you all! I hope you can all come to rely on me as a teammate. I'm looking forward to our future together here at Beacon Academy as Blackguard!"

The entire happy and bright display like something out of a freak carnival.
The heart monitor still beeping consistently in time with his own heart beat.

Beliya sighed, her curiosity couldn't be sated by a simple: "Don't know.", but that was all she had to settle on with this biomechanical business. Rising to her feet, she looked around at the dorm room's...emptiness. Ironically, this was the largest living space she'd ever had, and, as Ineko said, the place needed some tables. Scratching the back of her head, she asked: "Are we even permitted to leave campus today?"

A shake of Kuhaku's head made Abel curious. Though no expert on the subject of humor, the guardian didn't expect that his teammate -so recently and so badly injured- would be this eager to make a bad joke. Any more thoughts he had were vanquished by the splatter of dessert on the floor. Abel practically winced. Was that really necessary? What a waste.

He remained passive during the following exchanges and the subsequent explanation. His only action was to cross his arms, as if he were sizing up Kuhaku's description of the bad side effects of his semblance. It seemed so...surreal. A man with greater power who made a difference in others' lives, only to forget it all in the end? Sounded like something out of a comic book. In real, life, however, this was tragic. The part about not remembering his own parents' faces seemed particularly depressing to Abel, whose mournful face displayed the abjectness that 'Shiro' did not. How strange it was for someone to be so optimistic about such a terrible curse! Abel also couldn't help but feel irritated; the time he had spent with Shiro (the whole of Blackguard, really), while only a few hours so far, had made quite the impression on him. That was something that Shiro would never have, and it was far greater a waste than the dropped cake.

“Rely?” He finally questioned, the first to interrupt the silence following the faunus's words. “Don't know. But I'll try.” After a brief pause, an idea came to him. “I'm not one for big introductions, but now looks like a good time. My name is Abel Fulgurate. I come from the edge of the kingdom, where I served as a guard along the walls as my family has done for generations. I learned how to fight at a little place called Pallisade, but I've never done more than protect mankind when the Grimm comes calling. I'm hear to learn how to hunt them down and destroy them, so I can live in peace.” The last half of his sentence came across as oddly forced, and he seemed to notice this, for he uncrossed his arms and leaned back against a cabinet to try to appear more casual.

"Rely?" Abel questioned, breaking the silence of the room.
"Don't know. But I'll try." he then paused briefly.
"I'm not one for big introductions, but now looks like a good time. My name is Abel Fulgurate. I come from the edge of the kingdom, where I served as a guard along the walls as my family has done for generations. I learned how to fight at a little place called Pallisade, but I've never done more than protect mankind when the Grimm comes calling. I'm hear to learn how to hunt them down and destroy them, so I can live in peace." As he finished his introduction, he uncrossed his arms and leaned against a cabinet.

Bringing his hand up to awkwardly scratch at his head and ears, he gave a nervous smile.
"Ah, well nice to meet you Abel Fulgurate. That's a pretty noble cause for becoming a Hunter. Myself, though I don't quite remember where I was raised, I'm here to help restore relations between Humans and Faunus. To become a great Faunus Hunter and set the example for other Faunus. To help establish a better world for the future generations against a more relevant and imposing threat. The Grimm, of course. Ha ha.." his face flushed red as he explained his reasoning for becoming a Hunter.

Looking at the ditch of his elbow, he saw that he was still connected to the medical equipment. Shrugging, he honestly felt fine now. Though with obvious mental/psychological damage, his Aura had repaired and healed his physical body rather quickly. Ripping off the IV and heart rate monitor, he threw the sheets off of his lower body and swung his legs over the side. The heart rate monitor annoyingly screeched at him, flatlining. Irritated, he quickly turned off the machine. Standing for a few seconds, he made sure that his body was strong enough to support movement. Smiling in satisfaction, he walked over to his folded clothes and began to undress. Pulling the hospital pajamas off, he completely disregarded the fact that Bridget may see him. He still had his boxers on, he had no shame. Tossing the pajamas on the hospital bed, he unfolded his clothes and pulled them on.

Within a few minutes, he was fully dressed. Boots tied, gloves pulled on, and his hooded cowl/shawl over his shoulders. Looking himself over, he turned to Abel and gave him a smile.
"So, since we're now officially part of a team. Shall we go fetch that other Faunus...uhh..." he looked at the ground as he searched his memory for a name. He failed.
Shaking his head, he continued
"I forget his name. Whatever. Shall we go fetch him and see about our room? We were given a room now, right?"
Grinning, he grabbed his weapons and slung them on his back. Looking himself over for a second time, he realized that whoever folded his clothes for him also washed them.
"Gotta grab my things and start unpacking. Can't wait to get settled and start exploring the Academy and city!.."
He placed his hands on his hips, excited to get started with his schooling and training.

Ineko stopped and thought for a second, he wasn't sure either. He let out an audible 'hmm', and his drones launched from his back. Hovering in various places in the room, they seemed to examine the new home and the people in it, primarily the resting Gideon and standing Beliya. Ineko meanwhile, was searching his boxes for a marker and some paper. Pretty soon, he found a large marker and some sheets of paper, along with some duct tape. He made a beeping sound and one of his drones flew close to Ineko, who wrote the words "Are we allowed to leave campus today?" on a sheet of paper, then taping it and the marker to the drone.
"Go find a professor or a staff member." He told the drones, Ineko then opened the door and they flew out. After they all left, Ineko then said, "Now we wait." He got back to organizing his crates.

After a few minutes, the drones came back. In big letters, "NO" was written on the back of the paper. Ineko took off the marker and paper then held it up for Beliya to see, "That answers our question. What now?"

Bridgett politely looked away as Kuhaku dressed himself, and allowed herself a small smile at the young Faunus' enthusiasm.

"It may be all well and good for you to want to go explore..." She held up the tattered remains of her outfit "But perhaps we should make some allowances for decency, and have someone fetch me my luggage first? I don't particularly feel like exploring in a hospital gown."

As if to emphasize the point, her shirt finally gave up trying to hold is shape and with a quiet little tearing sound and became mere strips of cloth in her hands, several pieces fluttering down to join the remnants of cake.

As Abel watched the shreds of Bridgett's combat uniform drift to the floor, he caught himself wishing that she had been wearing it. Banishing the thought from his mind, Abel spoke up with his own idea. “I think it's too late to explore the campus. We were given a room in the main dorm building; since we have our first real day of school tomorrow, we probably ought to head there when we're able. Bridge, I'll tell someone about your...uh, clothes.”

Abel gave a slightly forced wave for the benefit of his team. “I'll get going. See you soon?” At a loss for how else to contribute to this situation, he left with some haste. He spent several minutes walking around the clinic trying to find the staff. When he finally found someone, it was revealed to be the same nurse that Bridgett had accosted earlier. The woman, busy with her checks and preparations for the coming day, didn't seem to notice him until he placed his sizable form straight in her path. “'Scuse me,” he said, louder than he expected, slightly surprising the nurse. “My friend Bridgett doesn't have any clothes. I mean, she's not naked, she's got this gown thing, but she'd like someone else. Something else, I mean.”

The nurse gave him a withering look. “I'll let someone know,” she replied with steely politeness, and Abel -rather embarrassed at this point- hurried away.

On the way to the dorm room, he wondered if he could have said anything else back in the medical ward. It felt like he wasn't doing enough for them, but he couldn't for the life of him figure out how to be a better team player. “Guess I'll have to leave teamwork to combat,” he muttered as he walked the dim hallway.

Getting tired, Marwan folds the corner of the book and closes it. He stands up and stretches for a few seconds then puts the book back on the shelf. "I'm a bit hungry, but I am too tired to find somthing to eat." Bursting throught the door walks to the foot of his bed and falls face first onto his pillow and crashes.
