Just locked myself in a small room in the library for almost two hours. Caught up with most of my work. Soon, I shall finally catch up, then get ahead.

And then? The world.

Not gonna lie, Francis kinda killed the head of steam I was building up. Sure you can get to know each other over a pint but you'll never know a fellow until you trade blows with him. *cracks knuckles at Cairo* So Falkreath then, alright, how're we getting there? Thoughts?

Probably by walking. With Cub, Urzoth and Blade, being the hulking two-handers, obviously serving as pack mules.

On a more serious note, maybe either skirting the southern border of Skyrim to avoid main roads where the dwemer would be and then just going into Falkreath from the south, or to move around the mountain southside, get into the forests and take an equally secluded path into Falkreath from the west.

I see only one flaw with that plan, two if Jenno is still with us.

Edit: The hider! It does nothing!

Hey, I think the dotted lines are in fact hold borders and not roads. I think I can see faint lines that sort of look like roads?

Not to say it was out of character mind you but I think it might have been a bit premature to coax everyone down. I know Falkreath was our destination and we wanna get the show on the road, but I felt Cub was in a good position to keep things tense long enough for some genuine interaction since we've supposedly been traveling together for a while. The posts were flying in to make sense of the bellowing Orc, the almost-fist-fight and Cairo's stew :p

Yeah, you said skirt along the border to avoid the roads, right? So the dotted lines would be a good indicator to sticking to the wilderness since it's the edge of cultivated holds. That was my thinking anyway.

Ohhh, my bad. Gotcha.

Also, eugh. I just saw yet another RP wherein the participants' education on mental illness is basically derived from a couple skimmings of Wikipedia articles and anime. I hate to bash something another person put time into but that's just sort of inviting disrespect. There are two characters so far whose nicknames are Psycho.

Reminds me of an acquaintance I had once who told me her anime name was Saeko. Three guesses how you pronounce it.

Generally, anything over saturated with anime in roleplaying is usually the realm of young teenagers. Also, "Psycho" is terribly unimaginative.

I would pronounce that Say-co. Like the Finnish firearms brand.

I actually just wanted to have Francis throw his two cents in with what I though he would say. After losing a friend to impulsiveness he wouldn't let it stand that people would actually want to take the offensive so quickly after their first experience. He also is threatened by and doesn't like Cub on account of him being an Orc, who aren't terribly welcome in High Rock, and being bigger than Vendel with none of the friendship. I don't think he saw a reason to take part in being one of the people to look for a fight among the only people he can trust/hide-behind now that his friend and companion is gone. It's not that his intentions were to coax everyone down, just to drink wine in a dry place. If a tense moment happens again, it might be different. I could find a reason for Francis to want to fight everyone around him, maybe, probably. We'll see.

The problem here is that Blade doesn't trade blows. He trades throat slashings. Francis saved everybody.

I dig, I think maybe I misinterpreted then. I saw it as GM speak for settle down kids or I'll turn this tower around :p

As for you Altiar, throat slashing is nice and all but what we really need is a proper clash of the titans. I've sown the seeds of rivalry and now we'll see what sprouts.

Me? Break up a fight? I was actually loving the little altercation and tension and Dervs and I were squealing like little Japanese school girls at what we don't see every day, which is character interaction of this caliber. Usually its just a hugbox with a campfire in the middle but this, well, I like this. It gives it a more human face instead of "This is why I'm here and this is where I came from. Pretty shitty, huh?" "Yea, it is, but here's why I came from and why I'm here." "Wow, shitty. I'm glad we have each other so all of this shit around us doesn't seem so shitty."

I always felt that Blade's sociopathic tendencies were a great foil to the "hug box" you guys always had going. Now that he's not the only cray guy around, shits gonna get double cray. Cray cray.
