Your hyperdrive engaged and some freak accident caused your ship to plunge outside the galactic barrier and accelerate to incredible speeds. Unable to disengaged it in fear of some catastrophic failure that would kill you, you sat back waiting for the journey to end. And it did. In an unfamiliar galaxy you are forced to find spare parts, food and water, and of course survive.

Star Wars - Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover.

You can choose either: Jedi, Sith, Mandalorian, or something else . Original characters only.
Now it may be possible to squeeze a few other franchises.....maybe. But ask first.

How about a slightly different plot that's a bit less random? How about the Galactic Empire... or perhaps the Sith Empire found a wormhole leading into Earth space. They immediately set out to conquer it while rebels and Jedi types land and offer aid to those upon the Earth.

Now that I'm spinning. How about the Empire, Sith or Galactic, discover an ancient alien artifact. The item is just like a giant stargate, mass relay or some other transportation device left over from when the Earth was colonized by ancients.from the Star Wars galaxy many centuries before.

This leaves opportunity for the Marvel characters to possibly disable the artifact or perhaps smuggle themselves through this portal and take on the Empire's leaders directly or perform some other clandestine feat of daring do.

Let's get some Stargate in here too.

You know I had not even considered this idea, and it sounds a darn site better than mine. Good call, let's go with this.

So Empire find a giant Celestial Stargate device which opens a wormhole to Earth which can remain open for 2 hours at a time with a recharge rate of 8 hours. It'll prevent a sudden influx, and also means as Assallya says something that can be bottle necked or even disabled. I've been thinking they'll be a few more franchises included in this, but none that are playable currently. It's more akin as to where some of the Marvel technology may have come from etc.

EDIT: Which era Empire do people want to go with?

Something with a lot of Sith I would suspect. If you have Marvel characters you're going to need them to balance the action.

There's no reason that Jedi can't do the same and use a halfway between Force Unleashed and CGI Clone Wars stuff. Dooku's fights like some venerable chinese kung-fu master.

Hmmm... Well, how about it being a Sith Empire that encompasses most of the galaxy. That way the Jedi would be part of a rebellious movement and won't have fleets to bring to the aid of Earth.

Yup, that would work. It will also keep it a personal RP too. So any Sith could possibly also be renegades and wanting to avoid the notice of potential competition so to speak.

I am in agreement. The other reason I like the idea of the Jedi being rebels or in exile is so that they won't vastly outnumber the Marvel characters. There really aren't a lot of them at the moment. Though, a whole ton of them are going to be dropping into the universe next year: Black Panther, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Power Man, Iron Fist, Daredevil and more.

The thing that bugs me is that mutants cannot be in the MCU due to copyright by Sony or Fox (not sure which - but whomever did the X-Men movies) so it seems likely they'll all be inhumans. Either way I'm pretty excited by it.

DC lineup is okay too, as well as Universal Monster-verse which is rebooting Mummy and Wolfman etc.
