Loviisa has been put among the ranks. I have plans for another character I might put up later, but I'll start with this one first.
I was wondering if my character's mathematical skill is too high for the Intelligence given, should I balance it off with some other not-understanding-this-too-well things or should I change her attributes to increase Intelligence a bit? Or is it OK to just be good at trigonometry / geometry?

I can't speak for HWWB here, but from personal experience at least, being good at trigonometry requires a certain degree of aptitude in complex algebra, geometry not so much. Being an adept navigator is something of a different story though as it doesn't really require the same kind of fundamental foundation in algebra that "trigonometry" in general does. Navigation, specifically with maps and/or astronomical or landmark based navigation, is a very specific application of trigonometry that doesn't really require knowledge of any actual trigonometry. It's kind of like in Physics how you're supposed to know how to derive the acceleration formula from the velocity formula which you derive from the distance formula, you might learn how to do those things, but have no idea how or why differential calculus actually works. It's also a matter of acquired skills, one could argue that Loviisa has been doing this sort of thing her whole life, learning navigational and survival skills from a young age, and so she doesn't really need to be good a trigonometry necessarily to be good at navigating using methods derived from trigonometry. I'm no cartographer, but I've always hunted with my family and if I had a blank piece of paper and a compass I could probably produce a decent map of the woods behind my grandfather's house.

On the topic of intelligence, Wes might require, I'd say, no more than another intelligence point to make it feasible for him to be working this extensively with explosives. I'd recommend taking one from either Wisdom (a little less wise than the average bloke, I'd expect, but that average wisdom would allow him to be surprisingly insightful for a big guy) or Strength (taking one point away would take him from being god-like/Mr. Olympia to bodybuilder and isn't too much of a deficit - unless you're real into min-maxing).

MIN MAXXING 4 LYFE. That makes a good deal of sense, Leo. I'll probably remove one from wisdom and pop it into Intelligence to make it more rounded. I'm keeping his uber-strength though. That's what makes Wes-- Wes.

...Damn. Haven't yet encountered that definition in my studies, but then again I'm no mathematician.
But I agree, perhaps combination of wisdom from experience as well as intelligence would make it plausible to read maps well. So I once again edited her. Just to be sure, waiting for THE GRAND MASTER He Who Walks Behind (me?) to approve for further editing ect.

Edit ...I hope the editing won't affect too much of the perks skills and other cool stuff you have already put in. Basically I have just explained stuff in different, hopefully more clearer ways...
...Bad habit of acting before examining things properly. Sorry. I'll just... Leave... Loviisa's folder like that...

Oooh, Grand Master. Me gusta. Somebody's getting some extra Fate Points.

After I read through/work on the submitted sheets, I'll be able to more accurately pass judgment on the discussion here. Not that ignorance of what's going on has ever stopped me from sharing my opinion before, granted.

EDIT:

I must confess I laughed rather heartily at Wes' personality.

EDIT II:

Hebaboh, what did you change with Loviisa's sheet? I'll read through it all the way once I finish with the others (hahaha finish get it because she's...oh never mind), but at a cursory glance the stats look the same.

Yeah, he'll do that to you. And then he'll fukkin punch yer gudern ey ut. bitsch. By the way, what do you mean by working on our sheets? Are you personally making up the stats for all of our skills and coming up with perks and shit? If so, keep at it. I've got a bit of a suggestion to make for H.O.W.A.R.D. to give him at least a small makeup of stats. Probably just the main six, but that's up to you. If I were to choose, I'd probably set his stats at this.

STR 2 - Built for roving, and not for weight lifting, the little bot can carry a bit, but put too much on him and he'll get overburdened.
DEX 5 - His receptical eyes are keen and take into the aspect a lot of what's going on around him. His accuracy is pretty damn good, seeing as his targeting computers are top of the line.
CON 4 - As long as he's got power, he can run for as long as you want him to. Of course, some of his parts might break down, but only once the critical ones go will he stop.
WIS 5 - Built in programs allow him to safely identify friendlies and foes, and loads of programs are set in place to make sure he doesn't go psycho and mow down teammates.
INT 1 - Pretty much has the intelligence of a small child, but that doesn't stop him from viciously murdering neutralizing his enemies!
CHA 2 - He's pretty good to get along with. He won't argue or complain, and he's just so damn cute. Not much of a conversation starter, though. Can't talk.

Yep, coming up with stats and then checking to see what perks fit. Once everyone's sheet is done I'll go back through and then write the OP for the IC, setting up where each character is and what's going on-I try and play to your strengths, so to speak, so Wes isn't in the middle of an intense hostage crisis while H.O.W.A.R.D. struggles to cross an Olympic sized swimming pool full of a peanut butter (which, inexplicably, ISIS forces hold).

As for H.O.W.A.R.D., that looks solid to me. I did mean to discuss his AI. He's not sentient, or anything close, right? I was envisioning him as more of a drone that Warren can command pretty easily but isn't autonomous (semi-autonomous, but not fully independent). Just want to be sure we were on the same page as that-if he's more than a tool of sorts (obviously Warren has quite the attachment to him) then he may need a sheet of his own and to function as a character of his own. There was a soldier/attack dog duo in Reckoning once and the attack dog needed his own sheet-if H.O.W.A.R.D.'s going to be used in that same capacity (in terms of his relation to Warren-obviously he's not going to be doing the same things as an attack dog...although an attack dog/drone buddy cop movie would kick ass) then yeah.

Aye, Howard is semi-autonomous. He has some learning capabilities, but they're basic at most. Howard isn't much of a main character, but he is a side one. (By the way you can stop typing H.O.W.A.R.D. because that shit gets tiring after saying his name like twenty times.) However (if) the RP goes on for longer than a single mission, I'm thinking of giving Howard upgrades from time to time. Slowly making him smarter, faster, stronger. I think that it would make a lot of sense if Howard develops more of a personality as time goes on.

By the way, he could totally swim through it once I give him flippers and a snorkel.

Well, just made the explanations to attributes, then explained the specialization bit more accurately. Put something about that orientation into Talent-section too.
Also put some likes and dislikes, moving some parts from personality to there.

Okay, sounds good to me. Especially the part about just saying Howard.

Word, Hebaboh. Thanks. Assuming no one else adds any, I should have all these finished up and the IC ready by the end of the weekend-got a lot going on since Thanksgiving Break's coming up, so slow going on my end. Lo siento.

Chancellor, I'm working through your sheet (which I believe is the last one I have to do)-would you say Kathryn is an addict, or has that habit been beaten?

EDIT:

I have added all of your character sheets to the Character Vault. Feel free to voice any complaints so I can promptly ignore address them.

I'll get cracking on the OP and hopefully have it up by tomorrow night.

I wouldn't really say it was an addiction in the first place, she's just a bit of a belligerent drunk, the rehabilitation course thing was just my idea of what a military court would do for this sort of thing, regardless of whether the person had a real problem or not, maybe anger management may have been more appropriate, but she's not an especially angry person either.

The perks you gave Catherine are spot on. Very impressed.

Shame you didn't manage to copy the links of the pictures, though.

Aiight, Chancellor, sounds good. In that case, I won't give her the addiction perk. ("Perk")

Glad to hear it! I always worry one will just totally break the system, haha. Yeah, I worked on these in Word so the pictures didn't transfer and neither did any of the bbcode in the template. Oh well.

I got a quick question, have the bonuses from the perks been added into our actual stats or do we have to do that manually? Also, I laughed. A lot. Especially at the skills and perks given for Wes. The 11 INT guy sounds like he would answer 42 as the answer to life.

The INT 11 guy was talked into something more reasonable because Stephen Hawking could've beat her in a wrestling match. And probably at math. Stephen's pretty smart.

The bonuses from your perks have not yet been added-they'll show up for each roll (or the ones like The Bear that have more passive bonuses, constantly). I was surprised that a few of the perks never got used. Usually someone has a femme fatale character, and I didn't know if somebody would get the older than 70 perk. Nobody got the perk for being young and innocent, I don't think.

Except for Virgin! Well, he kinda cheated to get it, but whatever. I was talking about the passive ones, though. Having the perks Bench Press and Force Multiplier would give you a +2 to your Brute Combat skills. Are those already added in or what?
