In a futuristic sci-fi setting, two deadly assassins from rival organizations are assigned each other as targets, each believing the other to have meddled in their business for far too long. The assassins come together on a busy space-station, a sort of crossroads between heavily populated systems, complete with packed markets, its own security force, a medical wing, residential apartments, and much more. This space station would become a playground for the two assassins to carry out their brutal battle with one another, to see which was superior.
This is inspired by a certain story Wrex tells Shepard in the first Mass Effect game, and technology levels would be relatable to that. I will be playing a female assassin, but you may feel free to play either gender. This 1x1 will have a lot of combat between our characters, so I would prefer a partner who is at least somewhat familiar with how RP combat works, though I’m pretty laid back about that, and willing to work with less experienced people as well, just let me know if you’re unsure about something. As for the writing level, I'm going to class this as Casual, but I do still expect quality, in both your character and in your posts. I won't require more than 1-2 paragraphs per combat post, as those tend to be naturally shorter, but posts outside of that will likely be somewhat longer.
I expect the characters to have quite a bit of skill, obviously, considering both will be successful assassins, but please note that I am not attracted to all-powerful badasses feared throughout the galaxy, and I won't be too thrilled if you send me one as a character. I will provide you with my character before I ask you to write yours, so you'll have some idea of the level I'm looking for.
The idea here is that the two assassins would grow an admiration for one another through their fights, and also that they might be able to speak to one another through communicators when one or both needs to retreat to lick their wounds. The idea of it going in a romantic direction over time is very interesting to me, so while there will be a lot of fighting, please note that I'm looking to explore other things as well. I’d prefer to RP through PMs on the site here.
