Nightrunner saw Lucifer and nuzzled him happily eyes closed and content being near his friend. his tail seemed to wag sometimes if truly happy, he was happy he wasn't alone right now . The large black horse nuzzled into the archangel arms and looked around gently "what now ?" he asked slowly looking at the angel raising eyebrow slowly. He saw dripping from the angels back and eyes widened seeing he had cut off his own wings "why....why would you do that?" he asked shocked and paniced as he placed a cloth on the stump to stop the bleeding from his friend.

"Hello my dear friend. From now on we live as humans the best we can until father figures out that he had done wrong by the two best warriors he had in heaven which will happen" he said smiling as he petted Nightrunner's head lightly. As Nightrunner began worrying about him he said "Do not worry about me Nightrunner I have been through worse than this before I will be fine" he said softly. "I did this because you are my best friend and I was not going to leave you all alone by yourself. So I am going through the same punishment that you are until my father returns both of our wings."

The large black horse nodded gently and looked around slowly as he burped up a fire ball and let it float there, there was some powers he had before god granted him. He smiles as the ball glows warmly to keep them warm as the night settled in. the horse hears strange sounds and ears perked contently looking around ever so now and then to make sure that no one comes close to him or his friend. he lays beside the angel and blinked gently "I can't help but worry about you, if something was to happen to you" tears fell as he shook his head "but you are right we shall return one day" he said smiling hopefully watching the night and soon fell asleep.

Lucifer smiled as he looked at Nightrunner as he burped up a fireball for them to keep warm. "Thank you buddy for keeping us warm it means a lot to me that you'd stay loyal to me even after all of the horrible things that my father has put you through it shows me just how amazing of a friend you are to me and I will never forget all of the things you've done for me" he said as they laid down and he watched as Nightrunner fell asleep Lucifer however did not. Sleep was not something that he wanted to do right now because he was so angry and sad about all of the things that had gone down in the last few hours.
