Biography:
Fish was born the middle child to a family of five, and if this biography ended right here, it's pretty easy to guess from there the direction he went. Fighting for attention from his two siblings, Fish found kin in friends at school, where they cared and pampered for him while his parents busied themselves with his siblings. It was around the end of middle school where he started his goth mindset, dressing in black jeans and tees, with bracelets that went up to his elbows. At first, he did it to follow the crowd- his crowd of friends- but soon started to develop his own style. He started dressing classier, wasting money on fitted suits and vests and shoes and brooches- he changed so much that he finally got what he wanted: attention from his parents.
They stopped giving him money, which was fine with Fish because he got a work permit and started getting jobs to fit his lifestyle, his older sister sometimes sending him cheap but pretty brooches from when she visited, his brother making sure to keep his mouth shut whenever Fish sneaked upstairs with a box of ordered clothes. Of course, his style hasn't been the only thing on his mind- he's been thinking hard about school, too, and although his parents believe he'll end up living off of them for years before going to a college, Fish has actually saved up quite a bit.

Biography:
Liam currently lives with his aunt and uncle, his parents abroad. They'd lived at first in America with Liam, but went back home after dissatisfaction with the change. Liam, who was only in first grade at the time, had no choice but to return with them, only coming back to America in the sixth grade after he'd convinced his parents he wanted to continue here. As it turns out, while Liam did like America better, the people he'd known in kindergarten had changed drastically (duh), leaving him out of place, hanging out instead with his cousins and his cousin's friends, which mainly included of the Asians and Indians that snorted education.
Somehow Liam, too, fell into the habit of studying more than he socialized, taking advanced classes and discussing physics at lunch. As graduation comes closer, he has started to overwork himself, from searching for a job to visiting colleges to working on portfolios. His parents are pleased with his malleable attitude, and having gotten used to it, get angry whenever Liam speaks up about something he believes in- shooting the duck before it takes flight, if you will. Despite that, Liam has a surprising tenacity about him.

Biography: Ever since Milly was young she was always seen as the child prodigy. She was different from other kids, she was able to pick school material faster than those her age and prefers to read a book than play with them. She was quiet and always end conversations with simple one-liners, and always aces her exams. This behavior resulted mild bullying from her classmates, but she was well-liked by her teachers. She wasn't afraid enough of her classmates and told the teachers about the bullying. However, when she started middle-school, Milly started to notice how kids around her age would hang out after school or eat lunch together, while she was all alone. She felt kind of lonely and decided to befriend some kids, but to her dismay, they would only go to her when they needed some help in their studies. Milly felt that she would always be known as the go-to girl in academics and that she should continue being like that and fight the urge to express herself. She refused just being this character and proceeded to change it, and that's when her grades slowly dropped. She started to get a little wild, but she maintained a good relationship with some of her teachers. People decided that she seems fun to hang out with. Milly got what she wanted, she had friends she could laugh together with, and gradually forgets the "quiet genius girl" character and become what she changed to be. When her parents consulted about her change, she just said that she's starting to lose motivation. In her second year of middle school, Milly quickly adapted how much drama goes on around the school, that's when she started to take interest in finding about the popular kids' lives. She was already a typical lazy student and decided that she has nothing to do, so she researched about the cool kids in school, just finding info about them and realized at how much they hide. Milly felt powerful with all these knowledge and decided she'll use it for her advantage. With her brain which she didn't use for academics in a while, she uncovers secrets and seems not to mind sharing them...but it will cost you. When she entered in Sunrise Academy, Milly kept being in touch with the latest gossip and seems to always have dirt on the kids in school. She's ready to give some info if you'll give her some cash or do her a favor or errand.

Why you need the job: Milly just wants to earn some extra cash.

I'm thinking of partaking in this RP, but, because i'm British, could someone please educate me on what years are which? Just for reference, The last four years of compulsory education here are years 10-13, and year 10 starts when you're 14.

High School In America

Basically Most kids start highschool in america around 14-15 I think

so year 1: 14-15
Year 2 15-16
Year 3: 16-17
Year4: 17-18 or sometimes 19 if you stayed back. I hope that helps some.

Biography: Thomas Jerry was born into a divided family. His dad's side was a family of skaters and his mum's side was a family of academics. Entertained more by the eccentricity of his fun and loving dad, Thomas joined his dad's side, much to the displeasure of his mum. Thomas moved out of his home in the UK rolled into the US town he lives in now with his family when he was 10. At 13, Thomas was acknowledged by the town's skater community as the fastest skater in town after he skated from one side of town to the other in 20 minutes. When clique drama came into his life, Thomas paid it no mind. Thomas couldn't care less about that clique shit that went down at Sunrise Academy, just as long as he could skate, Thomas was happy. When he heard that A Slice of Life was opening soon, Thomas was thrilled to hear that some decent pizza was coming to town at last.
