I think I might not have been very clear. Those of us in the carriage are not heading to the castle itself. I should have said the Town. It's too early to hit the castle just yet.

I don't mean to offend Redwing but the game really isn't worth it. It's got a couple of interesting characters but for the most part it's a rip off of Phantom Hourglass with a much bulkier and annoying transport system. Trust me it's right up there with the CDI games.

Oh no, if you hadn't meant to offend me, you wouldn't have said anything. I LIKED Phantom Hourglass, and if they want to use the game's mechanics for another game ON THE EXACT SAME SYSTEM, then who cares? It kind of makes sense don't you think?

The only thing you said about the game was the transport system. It sounds like you're shitting on the game because it was different. Did you even play through the whole thing?

Apollo, ignore the hater and play it for yourself, let you decide whether it was good or not. So what if it isn't a perfect game. I hate to break it to you BUT THERE ISN'T NO SUCH THING. People hate on Nintendo for doing the same stuff over and over again with their games, and then when they try something new they hate it for being different.

Yeah it is has a lot of the stuff Phantom Hourglass did, but improved on and added to it. All in all IT WAS FUN. And that's really all that matters isn't it? Trust me friend, it is no where near CDI level. The hater is just butt hurt because Nintendo tried something new.

Ah and, Zmerr, you very specifically said that castle in your post. Hence the confusion.

Phantom hourglass' final battle was one of the most memorable. I don't know if I enjoyed Spirit Tracks the same though.

I realized that after reading your post but it wasn't what I meant. Hence the comment I made in OOC. I was just correcting a mistake. Otherwise I would have specifically mentioned you in the comment. Sorry for the mistake. Please accept my correction.

And as for my opinion on the games, I haven't played Phantom Hour Glass, but I can say that I loved Spirit Tracks. I can imagine that Phantom Hour Glass is pretty good too. Everyone has different tastes. Some people don't like games to similar to each other, but the question is, is it really about the game itself or is it about the players' enjoyment? If I want to play the same game five times in a row, is that a crime? No. Nor is playing a game with a similar plot as another. If you really think about it, all the Zelda games are very similar. It's always about the same thing. But, they keep making new ones and we all love them. So does it really matter?

I never said a bad word about Phantom Hourglass. I heartily enjoyed the game, the ship movements between islands was a bit time consuming but then again no game is perfect.

By the way at least as far as Zelda games go Nintendo has never ever done the same thing twice. Even th e games made on the same systems with the same engine base had new twists between them (this is of course not including the remakes).

The thing is it took the Phantom System and made the flaws of it worse. The transport system was mildly annoying in Phantom Hourglass but it was downright impossible in Spirit Tracks, you miss one turn and end up having to go halfway round the world to get to your location, it's ludicrous. As a bonus the flute that you have to play requires that you blow continuously into the mic but to get it to register you have to put your face two inches from the screen where you can't control the flute anymore cause you can't see anything.

Not even to mention the storyline, divine trains and railroad system, half locomotive people.

The game was a hassle to play and a good portion of it didn't make sense. If anyone here wants to like it or enjoys the game knock yourself right out. It's your opinion which may or may not be more valid than mine. Apollo, I'm just trying to save you some time. The game wasn't on the whole worth playing and if you really want to know what the storyline is it'd be easier to look it up on Zelda Wiki. There's no in game experience that is really worth it. But again this is just my opinion, if you really want to play it for yourself and decide but don't say I didn't warn you.

And Redwing, A Link to the Past was better than A Link Between Worlds.

How about fuck you? Remember the part where I said Spirit Tracks is my third favorite and A Link Between Worlds is my favorite Zelda game? So how about you stop shitting on the stuff that I love and leave it at you didn't like them as much as I did? How would you like if it I took your favorite Zelda game and starting talking about how bad it was? Yeah I bet you wouldn't. So how about you shut up about my favorite Zelda games.

Alright. This is getting out of hand. It doesn't matter. Let's just focus on the Roleplay, okay? So we have different opinions. Let's move on. This site isn't about which games are better, it's about roleplaying. So let's do that please.

I started with I didn't like it as much as you did, you then proceeded to write several paragraphs about how wrong I was. Cause, Effect. If you wanted me to leave it at that you shouldn't have started the argument. And you already said my favorite Zelda was your second favorite, there aren't many flaws to find.

Anyway, its been about three days since Mad Scarlet expressed interest in playing Saria and she hasn't yet posted, should we send her a PM reminder or can I just start playing Saria?

Have we lost Mikau?

Maybe. I'm thinking over how I want to integrate him into the plot, since I've realized that I sort of sent him out on his own quest independent of the plot and kind of regret it. I didn't realize we'd be focusing all of our attention on Castle Town.

If I get Saria then we'll have some focus in the forest, Mikau could get lost and end up there.

It's almost certainly my fault that there's so much focus there.

Don't worry about it. What's going on in Castle Town is awesome. I'll just need to let Mikau sit on the backburner... or have Saria and Mikau adventures sometime down the line.

Midna awaits a response from the Happy Mask salesman.

I'm going to be posting a little more as Byrne, but I do not believe I will fully take him over as a character.

I'll post in a little bit. I need to get my bearings. I just got home from working and school. I haven't been home or really truly available for the last fifteen hours...... Tuesdays are so draining. *sighs*

Edit: Midna is free of Happy and can now do what she needs. I'm going to wait to hear from Dark Link's perspective before I post Ganondorf.

Prince, you are free to take Saria. Mad Scarlet will not be joining us.

Just a heads-up, I will still be checking in here every night this weekend, but, as I imagine most of you probably will (I also realize that some of you may not be American, but for those of you who are), I will be largely unavailable for most of the weekend. I wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and a great weekend! *smiles*

I posted Dark Link along with Link sorry it was short, I was about to leave on a very long car over night trip and would not be able to post, as it stands Dark Link cares not for Ganondorfs plans but will follow them to the letter and has sensed out Zant and Midna. Link has now entered Hyrule castle, through the garden... Again, anyway he will more than likely hide there and try and see if he find a way towards the private rooms to see Zelda, if there's one thing we know Links good at it's being ignored by guards when they should have seen him.
