Premise: The story of Gang warfare begins in the city of New York after a horrible disease has spread through. The world has been ravaged, but some have survived. These survivors decided there was one and only one way to survive, and that was to stick together. Different Gangs formed all around the city, dividing up the once great metropolis into a land of hatred. New York was a haven for a small amount of time during the outbreak, people from all over the world went there, hoping to be safe, but soon, the disease spread, New York was ravaged within a year. The disease, a horrible mix of The Black Plague, Smallpox, SARS, and Ebola, destroyed almost any human in its path. Nearly 9/10ths of New York's Population was wiped out, leaving people to wander the streets. Gangs soon started to form after the disease has already wiped out most people. The people who where somehow immune to the virus formed these gangs not out of violence, but out of necessity, as they would die on there own. This soon changed though, when the first real Gang war broke out between the Brooklyn Brawlers and the Manhattan Crew, lets just say they both ended up wiped out. This one gang war sparked a battle between all gangs for resources. It is now up to you to expand your gang and take over the ravaged New York City.

You, the player, shall play a gang or a gang leader inside a ravaged New York City. The tech is 2010s, so yeah, no insane lasers, but no swords (Unless you want em)

-This RP will use basic Dice Rolls and Addition/Subtractions for calculations and Battle Outcomes.
-The technology level is limited to what you would find in a modern city - power generators, handguns, electric drills, lawnmowers, cars, etc.
-You shall Claim land on the New York City map, of course, I suck at photoshop, so hopefully someone would take the job of map editor, if you do I will give you Co-Gm
-This Rp is character Based. You, the player, can form alliances with any other Gangs in free posts, I want you all to make at least one character to go along with your gang so the IC will be posted in a lot, they should be your main character.
-On the map below, you say whatever territories you want in a relevant area, such as the north of Staten Island, and the map editor will draw your borders on the map, also, they won't be huge.

History:Born out of the former Italian and Sicilian families that had taken over during the outbreak. The old blood as they are known now as were only interested in living the lavish lives they lived before the outbreak. As a way to get free labor they took people trying to get to the safety of new York.This would ultimately lead to their downfall as several of these Immigrants would lead a bloody Coup d'état to take control. While new on the scene they have made a name for themselves, as business men,as men of honor, and a cruel enemies.

On the faithful stormy night now known as "The bloodiest night of new york," A faction lead by Lorenzo, his now under boss John Corleone, and his Sister Jasmine instigated the bloodest, but quickest War New York has ever seen, in a display of tactical and stunning leadership abilities He orchestrated several Bombings, Hits,and personal killings leading in the deaths of over 200 people and the deaths of the heads of the Rossi, Clemenza,Rizzi Familes, along the the families of the heads. Having won his seat of power, he had turned his family into an organisation for the people. Working to protect, Collecting a small amount of resources in order to protect and serve them, as a form of tax.

Leaders Personality: A incredibly confident, likable and charismatic man. Just what you would expect from a religious leader. But Stern is also manipulative and can be very aggressive and brutal in his zeal.

History: With the collapse of society there was a huge shift in religious life. While many, who were religious all their life suddenly abandoned the thought of a benevolent god, other people who never went to church started praying. For a young man named Nathaniel Stern this was the opportunity. He was considered a nice young man, but also a nut-job. Since the beginning of the plague he started preaching how it would end civilization and cleanse the earth of human filth. His good looks, charisma and the right time in history actually gained him a growing following. Everyone who is a disciple of Nathaniel is guaranteed protection and food as long as he works and obeys his teachings.
