When he had met Priscilla in the hallway, Robert hadn't noticed that Greyson was standing behind her. Then Greyson said he was going back to the room. Robert could tell by the way Greyson reacted that he was the reason Greyson wanted to go back. Why though? Robert thought of any reasons why Greyson didn't want to be with him and Priscilla. He seemed pretty okay when Robert became leader, so it wasn't that. So why doesn't he want to come? Then it hit him.

"Does Greyson like Priscilla, too?" Robert whispered so quietly no one could hear. Robert thought about this new revelation. As Greyson began to step across the threshold into the dorm Robert yelled to him, "Come on Greyson. We're a team, we need to all stick together. Come with us." Robert then waited for Greyson's response before catching up to Priscilla.

"So where do you think we should go? Maybe the-" suddenly Robert's stomach growled with hunger. "The stomach has spoken! I vote the Cafeteria. Who's with me?"

Greyson was to walk inside and unfortunately Greyson got his please stay but from the wrong person. Instead Priscilla was content to let him go with his excuse so Greyson sighed a little to himself and he walked back outside with them "yeah let's go get lunch if you can't do so without me" Greyson said laughing slightly to make it seem like he was okay being in Roberts company with Priscilla when really hee wanted his alone time with her like he did when they finished the test and Greyson leg was broke. ...

“Huh interesting.”

“Yes...depends on what type it is though.”

Cynthia then quickly came to a revelation that her phone was not in her pocket. She tapped Marwan shoulder. “Wait here. I will be right back.” She quickly ran down from the hall…opening her dorm room and seeing her phone on her bed, lying there. She grabs it goes to what she usually likes to do…go on her phone.

She exits out of her room, preoccupied with her phone. She fast walked to Marwan and got back to his position.

“I forgot my phone.”

Cynthia placed her phone in her front left pocket and continued walking with Marwan getting closer to the Cafeteria.

Crack, Crunch, Ripppp.

Sitting within the halls of Beacon's cafeteria, Laura violently assaulted a loaf of bread with her teeth as a substitute for the administrators of the damned academy. With the entrance exam at a close and all the teams formed, many chose to inhabit the eating area to get to know their new team mates. Laura, for one, would have none of that. The nerve that the headmaster had, to award the position of leader to some girl she hadn't even seen during the exam! While she battled against a massive Datura, by herself, to secure her card and ensure her enrollment into the school, that deadbeat probably camped out in the woods until the exam was over! After proving herself no doubt the most capable combatant of her so called team, they still denied her the leadership position! It was infuriating!

Snap!

Tearing another crusty baguette in two with her hands, she proceeded to tear a large chunk away with her incisors. The only thing that could've made it more unbearable was if that imbecile Trico had managed to get the leadership position. After abandoning her to fight the Datura alone, she was shocked such a person was allowed to become a student at the academy. It was becoming clear the so called 'legendary' reputation of Vale's very own Beacon was a lie. Such incompetence among their ranks... it was a wonder those who trained her even managed to combat the Grimm! Discovering the bread had vanished as a result of her hate filled chewing, Laura snarled. It was gonna be a long day...

Maybe some pudding would help...

Trico skipped along the hallway, humming blissfully to herself. She never really understood how people got chosen for the team leader spot, but she liked her leader. Much better than the insufferable nincompoop she had met earlier in the forest. Or though, luckily, she wasn't part of Trico's team. They had waited, and waited, and she didn't turn up so now Trico was going to find the Ozpin office and tell him they where a team of three. She wondered how he would react to the news. Would he be acceptive? Would he be irritated, or would he just sip his cup and stare?

As she traversed the school, Trico thought it was probably the third one. That was all he ever seemed to do. That and stare into peoples souls. Trico wondered if he could see into her soul, but brushed it off, knowing that if he could, she wouldn't be attending. Then, she was lost.
"Where'd that office go to now?" She asked aloud.

"Why is your phone so important to you? I mean you are always doing something on your phone. Why is that?", Marwan asked. "Not to be intrusive or anything."

It feels like we'ev been waling down this hallway for ever. Where the hell is the exit?

After about 5 steps Marwan starts to get dizzy but pulls himself together and continues walking normally. Stomach growling he desperately searches his pockets for gum only to find lint and candy wrappers.

Disappointed he continues to mosey down the corridor.

Shiro sat in his new room, absorbed in making adjustments to his weapons. A little while ago, he had gathered his belongings and moved them into Blackguard's room. Having beaten Gren and Bridget to the room, he picked the top bunk bed closest to the window and quickly got settled. Once his things had been neatly put away, he pulled out a large toolbox and unslung his weapons to begin working on them. He plopped his behind in a corner of the room. Trying to be out of the way as much as possible as he worked. Pressing hidden switches and using his tools, he swiftly broke his weapons down to their most basic parts. Neatly laying them in front of himself in an organized fashion.

As he sat there tinkering, it appeared he was more focused on removing some major internal parts. For some reason he couldn't explain, he was displeased with the hidden grenade launcher installed within his weapon. With a frown on his face, he examined the parts after he had removed them. His ears and tail twitching and flicking back and forth restlessly.

"Barrel seems fine...So does its rifling and lining...Chamber is good..." he muttered as he looked down the long length of a removed barrel.
Picking up the trigger pack he made a face at it as he turned it over in his hands, "Sear and hammer seem fine...Disconnector and trigger too..."
He scratched at his head, confused.
"Was it possibly the bolt carrier group?"
He puffed his cheeks out. Unsure as to why his weapons didn't perform as he had intended.
Setting the barrel and trigger group down, he picked up the bolt carrier group and closely examined it.
"Bolt face and locking lugs are good..Extractor seems fine..Firing pin is good..." He grew frustrated. Nothing seemed out of place.
He even checked the buffer and action spring. Nothing.
Ruffling his silvery-white hair in exasperation, he couldn't figure it out. "Must've just been some machining or design errors...Oh, well. Back to the drawing board, I guess."
Shrugging, he put the removed parts in the toolbox that sat next to him after breaking them down even further. Some day soon, he would have to visit the school's armory or machine shop.

Beliya gave a dissapointed sigh at the drone's return, though she didn't really know what to expect. It was just the first day, they hadn't even had any classes assigned to them yet. Holding onto the sheath of her blade at her side, she walked over to the side of the room, and placed it within the locker beside Bruce's. "I suppose it's only natural." She says, before walking back over to Ineko and sitting with her legs crossed. "I'd imagine they'll let us leave campus for personal reasons if need be, but if we're really that desperate for tables, we could repurpose some of your boxes Ineko."

As Beliya finished speaking, a quick rap of knuckles on the door resounded, and a package was shoved hastily inside, the door slamming promptly afterwards. Seems the staff was efficient, if anything else. Getting to her feet, Beliya approached the package, and quickly heard the same event happening to other dorm rooms...regardless, she retrieved her weapon and gently sliced the packaging tape off the box, revealing a LOT of Styrofoam peanuts, some bubblewrap, and a small black plastic box. Shrugging, she flipped it open to reveal a set of four identical white plastic devices. Enclosed with them was a booklet, with hastily scribbled directions on it.

"Congratulations on making it into Beacon! These devices are called 'Scrolls', and will be essantial to your work as a Hunter. Having this is mandatory, and the loss or damage of one must be reported immeadiately; These serve as your Identification, License, Communication method, Messaging device, and, in the worst case scenario, your Dog Tags. Having these will enable you to access the various technology based facilities at our academy, with some restrictions of course. These will even be able to monitor your Aura level, as well as the levels and physical conditions of your teammates. To use these, simply pull the two plastic ends apart gently to reveal the screen. Upon system Start-Up, you will be provided with further instructions. Sincerely, The Package Man." With the message ended, Beliya tossed the paper aside, and removed one of the Scrolls, before handing the box to Ineko. "What do you make of these?"

Every other first year team recieved the same package, and, the first thing that they would get upon booting the Scrolls up would be directions on use, and, everyone would have a message pre-sent, looking more like a survery with information for class-schedules.
Meanwhile, in Ozpin's office...

"...And there. Done." Ozpin smiled contently as the final card lied upon his house of cards. Leaning back, he sighed.

Glenda Goodwitch stood at the front of Ozpin's desk, staring down his accomplishment. "Are you quite sure that it's appropriate to use the cards the Forever Falls team retrieved for this?"

Smiling slightly, Ozpin replied with: "Of course it is. Simple cards that had the luck to survive all that those teams put them through have a certain appeal to them." As he rose from his chair, the entire house fell down. Sighing, he picked up all the fallen cards swiftly, piling them upon each other. "...I suppose I deserved that."

Auriel sat up on his bed, tired in his mind and body. The previous day was too much of a struggle, and he was simply exhausted. When the mystery postman came and delivered a large box, he cocked his head to the side and narrowed his eyes. "Huh. Well...guess I'll check that out." Getting off his bed and walking over to the box, he sighed and scowled at the packaging. Shrugging, he viciously punctured the box with one hand, tearing the top off without interrupting the tape.

When he looked inside and found the smaller black box, Auriel opened it to reveal the four scrolls. Handing one to each of his team mates, he took the booklet that came with them, opened it, and read the instructions aloud to his team:

"Congratulations on making it into Beacon! These devices are called 'Scrolls', and will be essantial to your work as a Hunter. Having this is mandatory, and the loss or damage of one must be reported immediately; These serve as your Identification, License, Communication method, Messaging device, and, in the worst case scenario, your Dog Tags. Having these will enable you to access the various technology based facilities at our academy, with some restrictions of course. These will even be able to monitor your Aura level, as well as the levels and physical conditions of your teammates. To use these, simply pull the two plastic ends apart gently to reveal the screen. Upon system Start-Up, you will be provided with further instructions.""

"Huh. So...it looks like these are gonna be pretty important for us." Opening his scroll, Auriel started tinkering with the settings, soon enough managing to link his scroll up with his Aura, resulting in a somewhat diminished reading being presented. "Dang, still that winded? I guess yesterday was rougher on me than I thought..." Thinking back to the instructions, Auriel's face twisted into one of discomfort. ...in the worst case scenario, our dog tags...? I really don't like the sound of that. I came here to learn how to fight so I wouldn't die, not the other way around...oh what have I gotten myself into?

Looking back to his team, he shrugged and sighed. They weren't what he was used to, but he could tell things would work if they put enough effort into it. They weren't a bad bunch, just rough around the edges.

Awakened by the scrapes and clanks and mutterings, Abel sat up in his bed. Having been asleep only a short time, he only had a little bit of bleariness to work through. When he sat up, he slightly surprised Shiro, who had been too absorbed in his tinkering to take much notice of him after his initial moments in the room, and had subsequently forgotten him. Abel rubbed his cranium, thinking more time had passed than it had been. In reality, it was fairly early to go to bed for a teenager; the clock couldn't have read more than 8:30. Either the Guardian was really tired, or a really big sleeper. After leaving the infirmary, he had stopped at the cafeteria for a quick meal in solitude and returned here, not bothering to open his bags tonight. His armor, shoes, and coat were scattered across his corner of the room.

Abel seemed fairly surprised to see Shiro there as well. Out of everyone to return, Abel had guessed that the memory-loser would be the last—he hadn't really considered the severity of Bridgett's condition in comparison. Without much conviction, he hailed Shiro with “G'night,” and collapsed again.

Only a few minutes later the scroll-bearer arrived. Naturally this stirred Abel and garnered his attention. He took his scroll gingerly, wary that he might break the little, highly-technological card in his hand. “Dog tags? Real encouraling. 'Couraging. Whatever. 'S cool. I guess.” With all the delicacy a half-asleep boy could muster, he slipped the scroll into the pocket of his coat before shambling back into bed. Clearly, he wasn't utterly fascinated by the new devices. He did, however, manage a somewhat genial pat on Shiro's shoulder as he passed, taking care not to step on any of the parts strewn about the floor. While Abel liked his weapon, he knew as he sank back into bed that engineering one no longer interested him. 'Easier to get something new than to go back and screw with something I know works' he'd said to his friends back home in Pallisade.

The day before had been a victory for her, but only just. She was the first one to get in and out of the forest but that didn't mean she didn't sustain a fair amount of injuries along the way. She was very nearly mauled by an Ursa and had, unintentionally, wandered through an Itzamná nest, which ended in her having to use her semblance to escape. Overall things had not gone good at all - it wasn't like she couldn't fight these things, she was just alone and rather scared; the only other people she ever found were people who were already partnered.

Her injuries weren't life-threatening, not at all, in fact, but the doctor wouldn't allow her to go to the victory ceremony which meant she never even got to meet the teammates she never found in the forest. Apparently, she was from some team called Aegis?

When she was discharged the next day, sporting quite a number of bandages with a bottle of painkillers stowed away, she was left to guide herself to her dorm. Unfortunately, she missed the ghost postman by a matter of minutes but she really didn't care at that point - she wanted to get in and get to bed with as little interruptions as possible. Walking with a slight limp, she drew in some air, wracking her mind for an introduction to her team as she stood at the door. Hey guys! I'm the teammate that you're going to have to carry over the next few years that we're stuck together! No, that just sounded rude to her - she needed these people to like her, they were the ones she was going to have to spend most of her days with.

So, knocking hesitantly, she cleared her throat a little before entering the room, opening and closing the door as quickly and quietly as possible when she noticed a few bodies passed-out in their respective beds. The next thing that hit her made her feel a little bit awkward - she was the only girl in the team which meant that half of her pyjamas were obsolete. Great.

"Uh... hi... I'm Sasha, your new teammate." She quickly announced as she stared at the boy who was sitting up, playing with some sort of device. "Sorry about not being there yesterday, I kinda sustained a few injuries..." She stated the obvious, staring down at the bandages over her before smiling up at him - it was a weak smile but a smile nonetheless. "Nice to meet you." She remembered her manners quickly, pulling a hand out from behind her back and extending it to him. The same hand that was protectively grasping the spear-form of her weapon that was attached to her rucksack.

Auriel turned to the new arrival at the door when he heard it open, surprised. When his last team mate introduced herself, he nodded and smiled at her, giving her a quick once-over. Faunus girl, some kind of cat, perhaps a bit younger than him. She seemed nervous-very much so. He couldn't blame her much: young girl, only girl in a team of four, meeting her new team mates for the first time. He firmly took her offered hand and offered two shakes, quick and powerful, before letting her hand go. "Don't worry about it. We had a rough time ourselves. I used...pretty much all of my Aura, but I was lucky to get out without more than a few cuts and bruises."

Looking back at the rest of the team, he nodded slowly. Maybe this would work. They had range, power, and speed already, and this unknown addition added a useful factor: the unique abilities of a Faunus. Night-vision, heightened senses, along with the benefits that their animal side brought with it. "Nice to meet you, Sasha. I'm Auriel, Team AEJS's leader. Behind me are Emlyn and Jack. That's an interesting weapon you got there. What is it, a spear? Anything else it can do?" One thing the team lacked was versatility. Auriel and Emlyn's weapons had some alternate features, but they were hardly blunderbuss axes or rocket bats.

Emlyn had the bathroom occupied, though not exactly in the practical way. The door was wide open, and inside he was stood in front of the mirror, an assortment of little devices and bottles on the counter. He held a curling machine to his head -he always had a little flip to it in the back, his sister had taught him how to do it when he'd decided to grow his hair out. The voices alerted him though, and he turned curious and a tad surprised to see the other girl there. The last teammate? He supposed that made sense, even if she was a little late.

She was a faunus, which some inner part of him found a bit troubling. He'd never hated them personally, but the older he got the more he learned how expected it was to dislike the other race; and so he painted a bit of disdain for them whenever he was around one among a group of peers. But here, judging off of Auriel's reaction -and really his good guy nature in general- Emlyn figured he wouldn't have to put on that particular mask.

Auriel mentioned his name, and he gave the girl a slight wave, not wanting to disturb the process going on upon his head. The two already seemed to be knee-deep in conversation anyway, and while he'd normally jump at a chance to introduce himself, he figured it best to just let them have their piece, especially after his and Auriel's talk. So instead he listened, paying attention to the talk of her weapon, a bit relieved to hear that they might get some more "oomph" to their composition.

Trico finally found Ozpins office after much wandering, and finally knocked on the door with a big grin. She was going to tell the man about her team and how she had this great idea for something and if he knew someone who could help her. And then she knocked on the door again. It was annoying that the door wasn't responding even after she knocked on it.
"Well, are you going to say something, Door? Are you just going to stand there, all doory and not say hi?" She asked, and then gasped. "Maybe you are feeling awkward because I didn't introduce myself. Sorry, I am Trico, nice to meet you, Mr Door" She announced, her voice loud and slightly insane.

“Because there is always something interesting going on your phone. Social Media, news, new apps, etc.”

After walking down the corridor for several more minutes Cynthia spotted the Cafeteria sign and two wide doors open.

“There it is” as she pointed to the cafeteria.

Ineko watched as she got up and claimed her locker, "I suppose it's only natural." She concluded, then walked back and sat down. "I'd imagine they'll let us leave campus for personal reasons if need be, but if we're really that desperate for tables, we could repurpose some of your boxes Ineko."
He sat there and thought for a second, then nodded. He began to take the empty boxes and stacked them in one corner of the room. He looked over when he heard someone knock on the door, when Beliya opened it, it turned out they had a package. She opened it and discovered four devices, tossing Ineko one. "What do you make of these?"

Ineko caught his and examined it quickly, quietly asking for its specifications in pitches out of the human hearing range. However, a Faunus would hear the strange combination of tones and beeps. After a couple of seconds, he looked towards Beliya. "A fairly powerful piece of technology, used as a smartphone or a combat PDA, from what I can gather. I can make better." He remarked, tapping the side of his head, "I've made better.", putting extra emphasis on the 'made'.
Regardless, he looked back down at the large pen like object. He tapped the center diamond and pulled it apart, revealing the comparatively primitive holographic display. He inputted his name, ID, blood type, and various other bits of information. After finishing, it brought him to the main menu, where it was revealed that he had one new message. He opened it, after analyzing the message, it was quite clearly asking for what kind of classes he would like to take. He chose some of the obvious core classes, math, history. Leaving out language arts and science. He also chose Innawoods, unsure as to what it was, but he felt that it was important, and Grimmology. After filling it out, he turned to Beliya once more, "What classes are you taking?"

As they entered the cafeteria, Marwan could smell the food. At that moment he blocked out every thing else. The only thing on his mind was stuffing himself with food. He made a dash for the lunch line and pilled food onto his tray. When it came time to pay he pulled out $20 put on the counter and made a beeline to the tables and ravenously stuffed his mouth with food.

After he realized how inappropriate and ill mannered he seemed, he stopped took out a napkin and wiped his face. Turning to Cynthia he says, " I appologize for my lack of manners. When i get hungry I start to forget that I am a civilized human." After taking a few bites like a normal person he finishes chewing and asks Cynthia, "Are we allowed to spar with each other yet?"

Cynthia went through the food line, grabbing at least 8 large strips of chicken, with ranch sauce. By then Marwan had his food and she was a little behind. Nonetheless, she caught up with him in time, paying for her meal.

At the table, she lifted her mask up to her nose, only revealing her mouth. She took bites of the strips, while dipping them into ranch sauce, looking at Marwan stuff his mouth with food.

She ignored it as it did not matter to her.

Marwan then turned to her and spoke. She replied back.

“It’s fine. We all get hungry and just want to stuff ourselves with good food” making a lighthearted smile, and tilting her head sideways just a little bit after finishing her fifth strip.

“I don’t know? I do expect the different teams to spar against each other or individuals to spar against another individual from a different team.”

She finished her sixth strip and wiped off the crumbs on her mouth.

“Nonetheless, I hope we do get to do that soon.”

"Guys, hey guys. It's like, night time, can we talk about fancy weapons tomorrow morning? She looks like she needs some rest. I need some rest. I want to eat breakfast tomorrow. And Emmy's running a small hair salon in the bathroom", he yelled from the top bunk. He hung upside down over the side of his bed to see the new team mate, and he immediately could tell she was tired, despite her manners. When you use weapons as simple as his, tiny signs become a thing.

"But yeah, nice to meet ya kitty-cat, name's Jack. And I'm going to sleep, so please make yourself comfortable on the last bunk", just as quickly as he woke and yelled he fell asleep... Dude does everything quickly it seems. It also doesn't look like he was any way concerned about having a Faunus in the team, hell he didn't say anything about it or changed his behaviour beyond giving her a cat related nickname. In actual fact he doesn't mind, he's had a few Faunus friends in his home city, and they were pretty cool.

Her eyes slowly flitted over to the top bunk before moving rapidly to the figure in the bathroom, taking in everything around her and perceiving everything either as a threat or not a threat. For a girl who swore to only look like a cat, she very much appeared to be like a kitten in a place she wasn't supposed to be in. Turning her attention back towards Auriel, she felt him shake her hand before retracting it, attempting an avoidance of awkwardness. "Yeah, I didn't expect that much to happen and I didn't find anyone in the forest. I guess I must have saw one of you guys but didn't realise." Her attempted explanation had numerous flaws because Sasha noticed everything she saw but she slipped over it quickly.

Weapons were a major talking-point here at Beacon, where everyone was armed to the teeth with the oddest and most nefarious-looking weapons ever forged. Smiling softly, Sasha pulled her spear free from its buckle before giving it a small, controlled swing. "Spear form is just for carrying it and basic protection." She explained, a hint of pride in her voice as she swept her hand to the centre of the spear and pulled back a small lever, spinning it precisely ninety degrees before clicking it in. Just on time, the two long limbs of the bow snapped out and the string was pulled tight, almost humming with energy. "As long as you guys can keep me safe, I can make any creature wish it wasn't born." She proudly stated before frowning softly. "I do need near constant protection though; my aura depletes a lot faster than usual."

"Hi Emlyn and Jack." She stated quickly, giving a quick nod to the boy in the bathroom. She had a feeling sharing a room with these guys would be awkward but their potential as a team was outstanding. "Yes, I do admit I am tired but unfortunately, it is breakfast time and classes will begin shortly. Which means I'll need to use the bathroom to change..." She murmured, staring awkwardly at the guy in the bathroom. "Also, I'm a wil-" Sasha was about to correct him before she gave up; he'd call her Kitty out of spite then.
