Beliya gave a dissapointed sigh at the drone's return, though she didn't really know what to expect. It was just the first day, they hadn't even had any classes assigned to them yet. Holding onto the sheath of her blade at her side, she walked over to the side of the room, and placed it within the locker beside Bruce's. "I suppose it's only natural." She says, before walking back over to Ineko and sitting with her legs crossed. "I'd imagine they'll let us leave campus for personal reasons if need be, but if we're really that desperate for tables, we could repurpose some of your boxes Ineko."
As Beliya finished speaking, a quick rap of knuckles on the door resounded, and a package was shoved hastily inside, the door slamming promptly afterwards. Seems the staff was efficient, if anything else. Getting to her feet, Beliya approached the package, and quickly heard the same event happening to other dorm rooms...regardless, she retrieved her weapon and gently sliced the packaging tape off the box, revealing a LOT of Styrofoam peanuts, some bubblewrap, and a small black plastic box. Shrugging, she flipped it open to reveal a set of four identical white plastic devices. Enclosed with them was a booklet, with hastily scribbled directions on it.
"Congratulations on making it into Beacon! These devices are called 'Scrolls', and will be essantial to your work as a Hunter. Having this is mandatory, and the loss or damage of one must be reported immeadiately; These serve as your Identification, License, Communication method, Messaging device, and, in the worst case scenario, your Dog Tags. Having these will enable you to access the various technology based facilities at our academy, with some restrictions of course. These will even be able to monitor your Aura level, as well as the levels and physical conditions of your teammates. To use these, simply pull the two plastic ends apart gently to reveal the screen. Upon system Start-Up, you will be provided with further instructions. Sincerely, The Package Man." With the message ended, Beliya tossed the paper aside, and removed one of the Scrolls, before handing the box to Ineko. "What do you make of these?"
Every other first year team recieved the same package, and, the first thing that they would get upon booting the Scrolls up would be directions on use, and, everyone would have a message pre-sent, looking more like a survery with information for class-schedules.
Meanwhile, in Ozpin's office...
"...And there. Done." Ozpin smiled contently as the final card lied upon his house of cards. Leaning back, he sighed.
Glenda Goodwitch stood at the front of Ozpin's desk, staring down his accomplishment. "Are you quite sure that it's appropriate to use the cards the Forever Falls team retrieved for this?"
Smiling slightly, Ozpin replied with: "Of course it is. Simple cards that had the luck to survive all that those teams put them through have a certain appeal to them." As he rose from his chair, the entire house fell down. Sighing, he picked up all the fallen cards swiftly, piling them upon each other. "...I suppose I deserved that."
