Yay, I'm so excited you came back. I thought you'd given up on this one. :P I'll be posting a reply tomorrow - I want to do it now, but boyfriend is dragging me away to watch a football game at his friend's house. ... yay ... :P

Oh, no, just having to deal with my anxiety constantly rising because I'm extremely behind on my homework and every time I try to do it, it just makes me more anxious. Plus, my mom gave us some bad news about losing her job because of a really senseless reason. So, I've been trying to get everything back together enough for me to breathe again. I'm hoping after next week, which is finals week (I'm lucky enough to have no actual exams this semester) I'll have everything in order again and tons more time to reply.

I'm sorry to hear that about your mom! That's terrible - especially right near Thanksgiving. I hope things look up for her soon. You as well - just remember to breathe, no matter how hard it seems. Don't worry about forcing a response either - I'm no stranger to stress, so I get needing time. I'll just hear from you when you get back together.

((That post was really long, but they'll see each other soon so you don't have to go all super long. I was actually going to have Jude spot Aiden, but you left off in the elevator - so I figured we'll wait one more post. :D))

Thanks for the concern, it's really completely my fault for most of my anxiety (due to having a whole week off and my way of avoiding stress is to just not do anything that is stressing me out until my stress gets overwhelming and I literally cannot wait any longer, so I was doing homework for two full days and I'm still not finished with everything I've got to have done.) As for my mom, she should be alright, I'm trying to be as hopeful as I can about her boss stepping in and getting this all taken care of, since it was really ridiculous on why she's not going to be able to work there any longer.

You can have Jude spot Aiden if you want, I don't mind either way.

Ooh, I gotcha. My boyfriend is the same way with how he handles stress, which creates more stress. Just know there is a nice vacation coming up, and you'll get through it alright. College was like that for everyone, especially near senior year. Of course, the reasons vary. But, you'll make it. :D It's a good thing to care about your parents and their situations, but I guess also keep in mind that they're adults and have been handling their problems for a long while. That's what I have to tell myself about my mom, because I was the same way - caring way too much becomes debilitating. Not saying that's your problem or trying to give you that non-partial, over-involved stranger advice. I've just been there and even though I know just hearing wouldn't really fix it, it would've been good to know someone else went through the same thing. Anxiety makes people tend to feel alone, when really lots of people understand but just don't know what's going on in each others' heads so they don't pick up on it.

Anywho, I'll do that - would you like for him to be in line to get food or sitting down? Do you want his friend with him or moved off temporarily - as in, going to sit while Aiden is still in line?

Yeah, I really just need to keep my head above water for this week and then I'm pretty much off for a month (except I may have to work the next week since that's exam week and I'm under student employment) and I don't even have to worry about exams this semester, that just means I have so many projects this week though. Most have been taken care of, but there's a lot I still have to do. So I'm taking things day by day and keeping myself centered as much as I can.

Aiden's probably sitting at the table, his friend's probably in line buy food for the both of them.

Ah, only have to work for one, possibly two, days this week and study for one final. The instructor gives us a study guide and highlights in red what's most important and most likely to be on the test, so it's a lot easier to handle. Anyway, after taking a break for a few days after the whole stress of school getting to me for entire week, I am ready to get back to roleplaying and doing fun stuff!

I just saw you were interested in the other roleplay I posted. I would be willing to do that roleplay with you as well, if you're still interested in it.

Woohoo! I have one week left of work as well, plus maybe doing a side job at my apartment complex's office, but I'll be free for the most part. Dragon Age: Inquisition has taken most of my soul away, but I will check in. Hehe. And, yes! I'd love to do that RP. Would you want to be the bookstore owner or the one who ends up working there?

I want to be the bookstore owner. We might also want to flesh out this to either have a plot, or figure out some situations to put them through.

Alrighty, that sounds good. Let's see. I think the idea my guy of being a private detective. Perhaps he was initially sent in to investigate. Maybe someone he knew went missing after being there? So, his motives are a little personal. Since your character would be a recluse, mine would have to be the enthusiastic one - or perhaps just annoyingly persistent. :P

Or both! He could be both. Yeah, I really like the idea of the other character being a private detective and him having even personal matters in the case would be better. Since, it just means that he wouldn't be too happy with my character at first. I do want to make my character a magician (which isn't really going to be a secret, like the first time this guy sees something weird go on, my character would probably use magic in front of him.) which would just make thing a lot more fun. I could even see it being where my character might be from some other magical law enforcement that isn't exactly known to the government, so that would mean even more fun in the future.

Haha, I've never played the type that tends to be submissive - it'll be fun, and so so easy since it's actually me all over. :P I like the ideas! I think maybe perhaps this will be my character's first big case - maybe he'd done minor ones before. He's no Sherlock, is what I'm trying to say. Perhaps he even messes up a lot or is clumsy or something. XD Or maybe it's only part of a ruse! This is great. But, yes, let's do it. :D

PS: Are you having issues with the guild loading? I've been trying to see your reply for a while and had to keep refreshing. I am just now seeing it - hopefully it will let me post my reply. o.O

Alright! So where should we start with this? Do you want to start right at the beginning of things, or after your character had been hired and some strange stuff happens?

And yes, the guild is having trouble loading for me too. It seems to happen to me during the afternoons and early into the morning...

I think at the beginning of things - perhaps just as my character comes into the store for the first time? You could do the initial post telling what the bookstore looks like on the inside, that way my guy can react properly to his surroundings.

Got the thread up of our new roleplay! Sorry it took so long, I kind of got sucked up in a video game I've been trying to finish since I have the time to play it now.

Haha, I fully understand. I've been sick and foggy-headed all day, not even interested in playing games! D: But, I did get all the presents wrapped and watched a few Buffy/Angel episodes. Anywho, I'm gonna go check out the postage! Yay! So excited. :D

Yeah, I just played my way through BioShock: Infinite and all of it's DLC. Since I finally got the time to get around to it, but man, I finished that game and I'm really happy I did, but at the same time it left me feeling really alone for some odd reason. Possibly due to how the game ended and how immersed I really got into the game. Anywho, enough about me talking about BioShock. I really hope you feel better, especially if you're on break it, it sucks being sick on break.

I watched a friend play the first Bioshock. It's too scary for me to play, but I like watching. It's cool. :D I understand what you mean by feeling all alone and sad once the game is over. That happens to me when I finish a really good series or game, too.

Oh yeah, Bioshock and BioShock 2 are pretty creepy, since they take place in Rapture. I am completely in love with the idea of that underwater city though, and seeing what it looks like during its prime it's actually quite a beautiful place. BioShock: Infinite is less scary, it takes place outside of Rapture and is a brighter environment making it not as much of a scary game but it has a story that was really powerful and filled with so many plot twists that it just blew my mind after I was done with it.
