completely fair. it's a rather depressing song. it's the story that makes the better than sex part worth it.

I spent a long time recording 12 tracks of vocals with the flu that started the day before I hit the recording studio. and this was the final song, for which I went into the studio blind . I got to hear the instrumental once and my guitarist handed me a set of lyrics and said go and then I nailed the melody line in a single take going completely off the cuff. just a total cathartic release for me.
