In 1979, the ground-breaking real-robot anime Mobile Suit Gundam aired in Japan for the first time, resulting in the boom in the sale of plastic model kits based on the robots, or “Mobile Suits” of the show. The sales of the model-kits, or “Gunpla” as they are commonly called by fans and officials alike helped the franchise grow, making more shows and new Gunpla available at shows. In the year 2000 Gundam saw the first large scale overseas exposure starting with “Mobile Suit Gundam Wing”, globalising the franchise to reach the Americas and Europe. Tis resulted in countless kits in different scales such as the “High Grade”, “Master Grade”, “Perfect Grade” and “Real Grade” made for builders of all sorts. They are customizable as well, making way for new Mobile Suit ideas through new colour scheme or new equipment/features, making the possibility infinite.

The boom was brought even further by the discovery of Plavsky Particles by PPSE. The Plavsky Particles have the property to animate plastic model kits, finally allowing the common dream using your own Gunpla to fight others. With no risks of lives unlike the television shows, a lot of people joined the hobby. The surge of popularity resulted in World Tournaments where builders from around the world gather to determine the best Gunpla and fighter but that is another story.

Now we are three years after the 7th Gunpla World Tournament. The expansion of Gunpla Battles saw no brakes that apart from the world tournament, other tournaments began appearing in the horizons such as the regional tournaments and under 19 competitions held nationally.

The United States is part of this new boom, where national tournaments began. The tournament we will look at is the “Under-19 Team US National”, where 64 teams from the 50 states participate and fight for the title of the Nation’s strongest. You are all students of Von Braun High School and in order to participate, you will need a team and must go through the State Qualifiers. Will Von Braun High qualify into the National Tournament? Can Von Braun achieve the glory of victory, crowning themselves the strongest in America?

Now as the introduction is moved aside, this is a RP roleplay based on the Gundam franchise’s Gundam Build Fighters. We start with forming a team to represent a local high school and qualifying in the State tournament. Standard Mobile Suits from all shows are allowed, customisations are allowed but keep in mind not to make it overpowered. We will fight other teams that use a variety of Gunpla, from unmodded to heavily customised.

The number of players for now are undermined along with team size for now.

Additionally I will allow upgrades part way for anyone that wants them. When I say upgrades are available at a certain point, feel free in submit a new Mobile Suits where I will look and approve.

Rules:

- Listen to GM. The GM will act and judge as fairly as possible for the RP. Respect his decisions.
- No overpowering okay? At some point with the excuse of build problems, some enemies and allies may be nerfed for fair fights and you should know the limits of your character and Gunpla.

Description: Byzantine Gundam was created during Petrus’ time in his old team. Coherent with his old team’s motifs, he painted his Epyon into a predominantly red and gold colour and modelled the dragon heads into eagle heads. Compared to the Epyon is it still close-combat oriented but with more emphasis on defence. However, the heavily defended backpack for MA transformation bring a major drawback in speed and agility, forcing further reliance on brute force and defence.

Gunpla based from if original: Based on the exploration mobile suit GSX-401FW Stargazer Gundam, The Solgazer Gundam retains it's unarmed appearance and seems relatively ill-suited for combat, however since Gunpla is all about battles - experienced players know not to be decieved by it's looks. The Ring on it's back has been slightly modified to catch more waveform energies other than solar wind alone to power it's abilities, now including zero-point energy and Plavsky Radiation. This allows it to function in more environments than merely space. It now displays formulae-like code at the core of it's two contra-rotating rings, some saying it looks like a magic circle. The code is actually encrypted data in a lightform virtual machine that lends the impressive processing power of the Solgazer's to it's allies near it, allowing their radars and AI to perform beyond their limits.

The Solgazer is mainly white and silver, much like the Stargazer. But it's details have been painted red, green and gold (the inner ring) at certain points to give it a more regal, distinctive look.

Armaments: M-71K Phase-Blade: A short-range weapon similar to the beam swords of most gundams, it can be thrown as a make-shift ranged attack but is only done so as a last resort (as the Solgazer only has one other spare).

Special Features:

Voitic Lumiere Light Protection System: Like the Stargazer, the Solgazer too has a variation of the Light propulsion technology. However, it's features have been tuned for creating light pressure constructs from converted energy at a distance, than long-distance movement and exploration. This includes manifesting attacks from irregular angles at range and a powerful charged bursts. In short, for combat.

Nano Machine Repair System: A self healing module that allows repair after sometime without external aid. The Solgazer can transfer a portion of it's nanomachines into another Gundam at close range, restoring a certain degree of function and repairing them gradually.

Waveform Radar Detection System: Unbeguiled by tactics such as GN particle dispersion and cloaking devices, the Solgazer's radar operates on low photon frequencies that remains functioning through them. It can relay it's gathered information to it's allies through an encrypted code, sharing this ability in near range of other allied Gundams.

I left the AI system that the Stargazer is so well-known for, out because I think in Gunpla the pilots will still be controlling their Gundams manually. Unless you want my character to be able to get a cup of tea and sip it while the Gunpla fights on it's own. :X That'd be interesting but ...I don't know.

Though it is ultimately up to Sug nano machine repair systems for a plastic model seems extremely out there like under the sea levels out there.

Also I hope Dem has a offensive suit in mind otherwise we may be in trouble. My Reborns Alvaron may not be the best case main fighter.

I'd have to agree the nano-machine system would be a tad difficult to model. 71342, if you can downplay it to only be able to repair partially broken parts and itself I can agree with it.

Byzantine is mostly close-combat but speed is slower compared to Epyon.

The only way I can see suits getting repaired legally is if the suit has some sort of arc welder was on the suit. And even then it may ruin the actual model itself I'd really just recommend taking another suit entire to the number dude.

And what suit is that exactly demous? It would need to be something that can either take a beating and or could keep up with other suits. My Reborns Alvaron is a all purpose suit made with simplicity however it doesn't have any special firepower to speak of.
