In the chaos Misha was witnessing, he was dealing with a sort of internal battle while the group finally started a full retreat into the tunnels. He slightly stumbled as he ran, something he tried to make subtle. His vision blurred and became a mess of static, his sound receptors filling up with aggravating white noise that cause his mainframe's output signals to surge wildly.

"How amusing..." a distorted voice whispered, "You think you can run..."

The Lei'Loni shook his head, trying to scramble the signal emitted from the hacker. He's never experienced anyone able to indirectly bypass his security and establish a link into his mind before. The owner of this voice must've been the one to crack his code.

"Who are you...?"
"Oh, brother, you didn't think... you were... the only one created to be... the next tier of "perfect soldiers", did you? How arrogant..."

Misha tried to track where the link was being generated, but was met with a strong shock.

"Tsk. Tsk. Don't try to try to fight me... on my own battlefield... I may not be able to fight like... you can, but I have other methods... little Zaros... I will always be watching you."

The voice faded upon issuing those words and Misha was left standing there in the tunnel in shock. He could only think of one clear method the hacker was using to interfere with him. The visor over his head began to open, the Lei'Loni reaching inside and began pulling out the Network Matrix.
Doing so created a painful spark that surged violently when the wires were disconnected. Without it, he wouldn't be able to send out or recieve wireless signals, but that also meant he couldn't be tracked by this mysterious threat.

He looked to his newly appointed companions. It was a little odd of a group, but they would have to suffice in the current situation. The escort seemed a little heated at how awry the simple mission was supposed to be and demanded an answer, so Misha complied.

"My partner and I both know a great deal of Lei'Loni internal affairs, that enough would prove beneficial to your cause. If you've been paying attention on the news, we've been condemned for treason. There is a reason for that, though it's one even I don't know." he pointed his face to Aren, "There are things she hasn't even told me over the 10 years we've fought together, and I'd like to learn of them soon too."

Aren Dexer & Lia Melnor

Aren looked at the Kof'Yurr her eyes flashing red and she looked away "If I only I was a "little girl" still, there were reasons I was a Lt.Colonel for the Vanguard" Lia tagged behind her and looked at Aren's cuts, tearing cloth from a towel she had taken from the bar before they left, she wrapped Aren's arm and everyone seemed to stop. The man from before spoke out and Misah replied, however he looked at Aren and Aren glared at Misah, the first time Misah would see Aren angry.

"I devoted ten years to you Misah, ten years! If there was a damn thing I kept secret it was to protect you, or because I couldn't tell you. So dont look over here like I know what just happened!" Aren turned and punched the wall, causing the entire hall to shake and the wall cratered. She looked down and sighed, turning ruffling her hair "What you have just walked into was your first meeting with someone who has control of the Vanguard from the shadows. In the beginning when your kind" she pointed to Anhk "made my race, we were born from 5 different gene pools. These five "mothers" all held different abilities in terms of a forgotten. This is how you get different tiers and types of forgotten, and this is why there is a majority of female Forgotten and a small group of men. However I am what you call a "Lost Forgotten" I have all 5 best traits from my "mothers". Until a month ago, i only had knowledge that I was the last of a program that trained "Lost Forgotten". This however has been proven wrong twice now, seeing as you just met another. My little sister in fact, who I was under the impression was dead until five minutes ago" Lia looked at her hand and Aren pulled away.

"I will not pretend to think that me and Misah can do this on our own, because we can't. I will not beg, but I will ask if you will help me and him, the risk is dying, but the reward is beating the corruption that is all our races" She looked at them and crossed her arms "If you want out now, then this is the moment you will need to speak up. Because once this ship sails, you're on it until the bitter end, win or lose. And I will need ALL of you to promise me that you will help each other until the other is dead. In this battle, allies are more important than even your gun."

Lia looked at Aren and shrugged "I stated before we came here that you two were stuck with me, no reason for me to pull out now" Aren nodded and bowed slightly.

Cass had sighed, had wished he could have stayed but he didn't have enough ammo for this, so reluctantly he followed the other into the hole Rose chasing shortly behind him. As they walked he looked her over for wounds, finding nothing but singed fur which promptly trimmed with his blade. He heard the others speak of Lei'Loni and Forgotten, he sighed taking off his helmet he pulled out a cigarette lighting it with his still red hot barrel. "Listen, I'm not the brightest guy, I grew up learning very little in the way of this modern world, but I know one thing, the law of jungle. You fought good out there, I'm already old by my home's standards so what the hell, I'll fight for you. I'm Cass, this is Rose my mount and best friend."

He took a long drag on his cigarette before speaking again the wolf giving a soft almost cute pure as he rubbed her head. "But you have a strong pack, Rose and I will stand with you. "For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack." It's from a old Earth poem, we try to live our lives by. But heads up, the first line of the poem says that the wolf who shall break it must die. So I will kill you if you even think of turning on us. Now lets get to introductions." He climbed on to Rose's back laying down looking up as the wolf trundled along following the group.

Misha contemplated the tale given to him by his companion while walking behind the large Yof'Kurr that led them along the winding passageways. She seemed angry, justifiable, perhaps because she felt guilt for being related to all this. Even if she didn't know much, she held more information than all of them. This mysterious past was their only clue to finding the trail that would bring them to the roots of the strange Lei'Loni that he had seen twice lead these "Lost" Forgotten into battle. Why would they steal the Mothers when they were already safe in the Lei'Loni facility? Was it because they wanted to create a power-struggle? There was too little evidence to point anywhere.

No matter, the main objective here is to get out of harms way. They were still being chased. Just because they went into a few tunnels didn't mean that they couldn't be followed.

"Before we start getting comfortable or start beginning to understand the current situation." muttered in response to the wolf-rider, "To all those who will be going on this journey, I request to have them destroy their communication devices. If we allow signals, they will catch us down here."

He turned to the red-haired escort, "Once the old Yof'Kurr leads us out of here, do you have a safe way to your headquarters? Namely, a method we can avoid being seen anywhere in public, since we're rather..." he glanced at the exotic group, "Noticeable."

The Kof'Yurr watched as the Forgotten seemed to bicker angrily at her partner. Odd to see such a lively Forgotten, but perhaps it was because she was one of these 'Lost Forgotten' she mentioned about. Then again, it hadn't interacted with too many other than during the time it served as Tol'Shul. It kept walking as the others talked, helping the insect along the way, before glancing back toward the younger Lei'Loni.

"Middle-Aged. Kids these days. So rude." The Kof'Yurr hummed as it was called old, though seemed still lighthearted in its words.

"We can handle the necessary communication and information another time. The chase is still underway. So I concur with destroying communication devices. It will make it slightly less difficult to make contact with others, but there other ways and it will lessen our chances to be tracked. Now a days, they rely on the signals since everyone carries a communication device." The Kof'Yurr said, reaching a hand to the right side of its head and grabbing a small chip that popped out. Before crushing it in its strong grasp.

The tall caped figure then pushed a piece a stone, opening a stone slab of a door, resurfacing into the dark streets of the city in the alleys. Its body disappeared again, the insect along with it as it went into stealth mode and walked out. Scanning the area for danger before humming. "Soldiers coming from the bar, working their way toward our location. Most likely searching. We don't hVe a lot of spare time." it said.

Should I go along with this? It's clearly important and the company sent me in for this, obviously I'm needed, though I'm not sure what assistance I can provide them. Argh, if I go dark for the next, who knows how fucking long, bad things could happen. And I'll just have to hope this group doesn't betray me... Better odds than going back up to get slaughtered by the robot army. With clear frustration he disconnected all his communications. "Out of the frying pan an into the fire, to use an old phrase. I cannot see where this could possibly lead and I feel like I've thrown my life away, may as well make a goddamned show of it." He readied his blade in case anything would come to attack the group in their trek.

He elected to stand near the back of the group and keep guard behind them, he took notice of the strange insect being dragged along and the wolf as well, he decided not to comment on the strange company. Two robots, two girls, a dog, a bug, and apparently two normal men. What a night there was ahead of him.

When Anzo was grabbed he kicked his feet back and forth in the air, knocking over the stool. He preferred not to be picked up, but didn't really try to retaliate due to his current state and just let out a groan. He blindly wiggled his bug arms all over his back while looking for his gun, but never found it. He wasn't genuinely pissed and just gave up on trying to attack his kidnapper. Being handed some liquor by the thing that grabbed him helping a bit.

The giant insect listened to what it said and couldn't quite gather every word. He just chose to not give a shit and started to drink before actually realizing he should try and identify his kidnapper.
His vision was incredibly blurred, but he knew a Lei'Loni when he saw one. He wiggled out of Ashule's grip and trudged along with the group, not really knowing what was happening.
"Uhm... What is going on exactly?" He directed the somewhat distorted message to the Lei'Loni that grabbed him.

The Kof'Yurr paused as it identified the distorted telepathic message of the insect, whom had moved away and managed to walk on his own. Still scanning their surroundings, the tall Lei'Loni turned slightly to the Arthros.

"The Lei'Loni are hunting down these two fine fellows. You accidentally got caught up in the heat of a skirmish. It was unfortunate, but you have most likely been classified as associate of us and would be eliminated with hesitation. To safely extract you from our further dangerous company , it would be best to reach the safe destination and lose our hunters." It said politely as it moved around corners of alleyways at a quick steady pace.

It was used to solo missions and being able to move quickly and stealthily out of harms way, but this time it was among a sort of team. It had been some time since it had been in one, and it had to consider that these people were not built the same as the Kof'Yurr. So its pace was steady before it halted, scanning and picked up a signal. Peeking around the corner to see a slow hulking figure Lei'Loni. Though it was simple minded, it was powerful in strength.

"Mon'Daar. To the left and coming in his direction ." It notified quietly.

Aren Dexer & Lia Melnor

Aren nodded and bowed slightly to all of the others that agree'd to join her and Misah. Lia patted her shoulder and Aren walked next to her, looking at the Artho who had no idea what truly was going on, Lia laughed slightly at the drunk Artho and patted his shoulder "Dont worry, I'm sure you'll be able to get more of that where we're heading, just tag along for now" she pointed to the bottle he held in his hand. Aren watched Lia slightly, it was odd, she wasn't aware that Lia was even a Vanguard at one point or another. A strong one at that, she was able to fight two Lel'Loni no problem. She thought for a moment "Could she be...no theres no way..." though the Lia did seem to be missing a few cogs of emotion such as fear and regret. Was it possible that Lia was a...Forgotten? Aren made a mental note to check on that once they were able to be free for a while.

They stopped at a corner and the Kof'Yurr informed them of a Mon'Daar approaching them. Lia looked at Aren, grabbing one of her guns and tapping her shoulder nodding for her to follow. "We got this one, now Mon'Daar dont travel alone so get ready for another small skirmish" Lia patted the Kof'Yurr "You and Misah are most likely the only ones capable of taking down a Mon'Daar together, I would say Bug-Man over there could help but I'm not quite sure. if you can get him to, by all means let him fight, he's most likely just as strong as one of those things" Lia motioned in the direction of the Mon'Daar.

"Misah, if me and Lia get split up, I'll have Re send you a message, after the small skirmish, if the split up happens and we can't reconnect anytime soon. If you don't get a message from Re, then just keep going and worry about it later, it's your job to get them to safety first, got that big guy" she had her emotionless face showing but she poked him in the forehead "Lets do this" she looked back and nodded to everyone, before turning to Lia "Got a plan?"

"Yeah, it's called don't get killed" she winked and took the gun off safety. Looking in the other direction she saw something glimmering and pointed at it "Think that's what I think it is?"

Aren focused her eyes intensely "Yup, that'll work" Lia nodded "ready...now!" Lia ran out and the Mon'Daar made an electrical sound, like a homing beacon almost. Aren ran after her and began firing in the direction of the Mon'Daar barreling towards the two. Aren and Lia both slid to a stop and breathing out slowly, both focusing on the object. The Mon'Daar passed the hallway in which Aren and Lia ran from and charged towards them. Holding out it's hand, it was charging a beam of some sort and aimed towards the two. It was in front of the object "Fire now!" they both shot at the object and hit it simultaneously as the Mon'Daar passed in front of it. It suddenly exploded, sending the Mon'Daar into the wall and the charged beam it aimed at Aren and Lia fired off hitting the wall next to them. Aren ran up and it began trying to move from the rubble but Aren stood on it's chest piece and fired multiple times into it's face and neck, making it stop moving. There was silence and Lia ran up next to Aren, then in the darkness that went on farther, small lights began showing up "Misah those are the stealth division Tol'Shul, watch around you! Their tech is harder for you guys to pick up, I didn't even hear the-" one punched Aren straight in the face as it suddenly uncloaked itself in front of her. Aren slid on the ground and was dazed for a moment, Lia picked up the other gun, putting it in Aren's holster and began pulling her back towards another hall of sorts to get cover. The Tol'Shul began firing at Lia and walking towards her, while another Mon'Daar and squad of Tol'Shul began approaching the rest of the group.

"No....ESCAPE!" the Mon'Daar roared into the air as it began running towards the hall that the rest of the group was in.

"Ugh, more of this..." Anhk groaned as he unholstered a pistol and aimed it down the hallway, slightly taking cover behind the two large robots he had here, he did not like working with them, but as long as he treated them like scenery for now he might be able to make it. Wish I had a communicator, or some sort of area scan, I'm completely blind down here he thought to nobody in particular. At least his contacts amplified the light enough to give him some literal visibility. Once again, he found himself impressed by the girl's speed and ability, she seemed like she was wearing a power suit at all times, possibly even stronger, and with no visible source. It didn't stop her from getting sucker punched though. He held back a grim chuckle and turned to the man with the canine "Do you think we even stand a chance in this? I know we have these two" He gestured to the Lei'Loni he was slightly hiding behind "but it's too confined down here, how will we make it out? I don't think we stand a chance in a straight up fight, especially with that girl out of commission."

The Kof'Yurr watched as the females went into action before he looked to the male insect. **"If it as all possible good sir, we would highly appreciate your assistance in our current situation."** it said softly before its sensors confirmed a Mun'Daar charging toward their cramped confinement, as well as several stealth Tol'Shul. Scanning the area for other life forms, the Kof'Yurr lifted its giant mass of a blade, shifting it to gun mode once again. It sparked and flashed before unleashing another giant charge beam at the charging Lei'Loni, blasting the Mon'Daar backwords, as well as crashing into some of the Tol'Shul and smashing into a building. **"I'll assist the females. Keep moving towards the east. One of the rebellions beacons hide there. Most likely other secret means of escaping, and possibly contacting allies."** The black Kof'Yurr said quietly to its teammates before it's body cloaked, disappearing from view. Charging foreword, the large weapon shifting back to that of a giant blade as it side stepped a Tol'Shul and swung the weapon into the back, launching the fellow Lei'Loni against one of those pursuing the females. One was quicker and managed to make swift blows to the stomach and chest, but these stealth younger models were built quite as big as it. Speeding foreword, it danced around multiple blows other stealth Tol'Shul threw, some landing due to its slower sensors in navigating their position. Raising its sword, the large Lei'Loni charged and swung, blowing quite a few of the approaching Lei'Loni that were targeting Lia and Aren.

The big bug nodded a few times as the Kof'Yurr explained and could barely grasp what was happening. Anzo knew he got caught up in something that didn't involve him, all because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He would personally prefer to not be killed by a Lei'Loni and the news of being a possible candidate for being attacked by the robotic killing machines upset him; he kicked the ground with his next step. _What a shitty day._ The saddening idea quickly faded when he felt a pat on his shoulder. Anzo looked down to find what appeared to be a human. A small soft human being. Another being more fortunate than him. Truly a beautiful creation like nearly every one of her kind. Unlike his species. He would normally be somewhat bitter on the inside but whatever disdain he could have held towards her waned when she assured him there would be probably be more alcohol wherever the group is travelling to. Anzo kept up with the group best he could while occasionally taking a sip of his drink until he heard talk of a possible Mon'Daar. He was a bit disoriented and his vision was a bit blurry. Fighting sounded like a real hassle to him and he trudged back a few steps. The insect listened for some kind of instructions as to what they were going to do. _I would say Bug-Man over there could help but I'm not quite sure_. Anzo wasn't quite sure whether or not he liked the nickname of Bug-Man but he didn't really care. The talk of him being just as strong as a Mon'Daar did catch his attention and he trudged a few steps away from the group again. In his current state he would prefer to not fight anything, especially not a Mon'Daar. When the Kof'Yurr that saved him from being blown up looked at him for a moment and asked for his assistance he thought about it for a bit. He really didn't want to but, win or lose it isn't like he would remember this anyways. He removed his pistol from its holster and opened up the sack of shit he always toted. Anzo watched as the other group members took position and attacked, noting how they moved and assaulted the robots. He was still rather hesitant to actually do anything and when told to travel east towards a rebellion beacon he still wanted to do something. He ran forward a bit and placing a hand in his bag he took out a ball of dung and placed it in his mouth. Before he did what he planned on doing he decided to send a message to the group members. _"I suggest all of you find cover."_ Anzo chewed the dung for a few seconds as he waited for his teammates to seek cover before spewing the feces in his mouth in all possible directions, attempting to make the cloaked Tol'Shul visible.

Cass smiled as the now shit-stained Tol'Shul were visible to him. "Nice work big guy, my turn." Rose rushed toward them tackling and scratching at one as Cass burst fired into them. "Man this is easy, I almost wish they could give us more of a challenge!" Rose howl in response, the jungle fighter and his wolf set about destroying the fowl smelling Tol'Shul. He hoped it would distract the Mon'Daar he could escape the thing, he fast and mobile unlike the others. As Rose tore into another Tol'Shul he began to unload rounds into it, he knew that they would do little damage unless he could find a vital spot. He worried for Rose more, the weapon they were using could do serious damage, he needed her and she needed him. Yet it seemed that they had gone and pushed to far in, soon they would be surrounded, at least it would be a warriors death. It's how he wanted to go and Rose didn't care as long she was with her pack. He reloaded and she bared her teeth at the unflinching machines. "Well as the old saying goes, it's a good day to die."
