As you have guessed you have received the letter above personally addressed to you from a mysterious man named Edward Harrison. You a hardworking man or woman has been selected to go on an all expense payed trip to a brand new state of the art resort. Obviously you are clearly excited, you make the phone call to confirm your registration and just like that everything the letter said becomes true, you are given a date and time to be there. With much anticipation you pack a suitcase or whatever you choose to carry your belongings and in a weeks time you find yourself on your way to the vacation of your dreams. You were enjoying yourself already when you arrived on the cruise, you meant the other lucky winners and you waved good bye to your family and friends as the cruise departed for the island. All you can remember is drinking at pool side, and getting in some sun before you find yourself drowsily coming too inside a well furnished and luxurious room. As you slowly come to all you can think of is the pounding headache as your eye's adjust to the large furnished room before you. The room is nice, exactly what you would expect at a fine resort, however in the back of your aching head there is a nagging... something is wrong. The first thing you notice is that the windows in the room are heavily barred, light cascades in between the bars from what appears to be a white crescent beach with rolling waves. As you turn you notice that the door is crude steel, quickly you realize that there is no way to open it from the inside and that you are trapped. As you slowly sit down trying to remember how you got here, you notice a ticking from across the room, looking you notice a rather large flat screen tv, on it large neon green numbers slowly counting down. You have no clue whats going on, but you start to realize as the clocks ticks that you have three hours until whatever happens, happens... ## Read Below more information Hello and welcome from an OOC point of view. As you will read above you are sorta in a tough situation, so I wanted to take the time to say a few words before you possibly hop over to the character sheet section. First and foremost I will not be adding in a rules section mostly because I am not incredibly strict, I prefer a layed back approach. But there is something I am adamant on in my role plays and that is that everyone has fun, and can be creative, I like to keep a creative environment. So in light of this I going to mention below a few things so were all on the same page. One respect your fellow role players and I will promise you that I will make sure they respect you, I don't wanna see heated arguments period, if there is a problem come to me or take it to PM, other wise I will put and end to it. Two you are not god, you will not act all powerful, and you definitively will not try to assume control of other people characters unless given prior permission period. Three this role play is not going to revolve around any one character, it won't be a love story to you, or in other words don't make yourself the all important character. Other then these three things use your common sense and if your edgy on something then please PM me I will be more then happy to help you. Now onwards to some information you should know for the role play. The first thing is that your going to notice all your belongings you brought with you are gone. The only things you have is what is in the room and that would be the furnishings. Something you will notice or not notice it is up to you is that the furniture is bolted down one way or another so it can not be moved easily. The second important thing to note is that you have been dressed in one piece uniform very much like work suits, they are white with short sleeves, and each one has a number on the front (you will receive your special number by your admission into the role play. So if your first to post a bio then your number is one, second to post is two and so on). Another thing to note is when your thinking of your job there will be no military types at all, the best thing I am willing to accept is a cop and these will be limited to only two, but nothing like swat, army, etc. Fourth thing is training such as martial arts or so forth, I will accept this in your bios if you choose to add it but your not going to be Bruce lee, I have a very specific reason for this so please keep it light. Last things is one the age cap is going to be twenty one or older so keep it above or at this age. Have you made an interest check for this? I think you might get further with that. Also, If/When you do that, I would suggest you summarize the idea. It can be discouraging if the description is too long. However, here, in the OOC, it's good that the description is long. It makes things clearer.
