Harold thought about acting like a knight when he was holding Thisa's hand, but decided that would be too weird, even for him! He was also glad that the three we're getting along so far. It's much fun to write programs when you have people willing to test them out after all....he still didn't know. * why* those PMCs didn't wish to have anything to do with him. It wasn't like some idiot managed to break the codes by any means. (Unless they perhaps found a self-district code, however that's highly unlikely.) Harold internally chuckled at that before he went back to the conversation once more. "I see. That would undoubtably be ample time to convert the layout of this academy to memory, unless it is random of course!" Harold laughed a bit at his own joke, still aware that others probably do no share his sense of humor at all. "As well, I do not have any official nickname myself, as such if you wish, I would allow for you to assign me a nickname you feel appropriate...." He let his hand drop back to his side and fiddled with his crossbody computer bag a little nervously at Thisa's question: "Ahmmm, have you ever heard of Newgate's Process at all?" Harold asked a bit meeker than he had been at any point before. He also nodded slightly to Tim acknowledging his patience with the two of them.

[Harold ](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2325616)found, however, that [Timothy](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2323135) was no longer standing where he expected him to be. A bit farther off, he was procuring a Nescafé from a convenient vending machine, slickly opening the can and downing a gulp, with his book tucked in between his arm and his torso. Turning his head round just fast enough to catch Harold acknowledging his patience, he returned the little nod, before drinking once more. _"Think he's looking at you to calm himself down?"_ Cadwal asked. _"What for?"_ _"I told you, he's enamored with the [girl](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2326837)! He's sweating stones."_ _"I will admit, that's actually rather likely."_ "Don't mind me," encouraged Timothy, his voice soft and low as he took a seat in a nearby bench.

Harold indeed did have an odd way of talking, he was fairly literal not like he needed a nickname. Thisa was also starting to notice his short rambles as if he was somehow nervous, no idea why maybe the guy was uncomfortable with meeting new people. Tim seemed to back off, he was sitting off to the side with a can... of something she couldn't quite make it out. All the same Thisa did feel bad about basically muscling the man out of his own conversation, but looked like he was content with just watching. "If the school were random then I'd be a new adventure each day, might be fun until you're late for class." Thisa laughed trying to keep things light. " That said I never head of Newgate's Proccess, mind letting me know a little more"

Harold scratched the back of his head and pushed up his glasses like he seems prone to do. "Ah, well I apologize, that was a software joke hehe. It's because of. RAM, you see?" Harold explained what he meant before and replied again: "But ah, that would indeed make this school impressively interesting. As well, Newgate's Process is a process for artificial intelligence and the struggle to give them true sentience that was developed and published by one Edward Newgate, he and I worked together on creating a neural net to be able to handle of all of the big data, and break it down and hope to be able to assist in taking the steps forward necessary to giving learning and sentience to artificial intelligence." Harold went on a long rambling spree, but with much more passion and fire in his eyes than before. "At the same time, however, it is not a completed process. Thus, we are still working out the bugs and doing our best to improve it further. It is considered a substancally debated topic currently. I however, just wondered if you yourself had heard of it Ms. Thisa." Harold finished explaining in his apperently normal social manner.

So, it was a computer joke about RAM not the best joke ever but at least it made sense... after explanation. Harold was really into his work, making sentient life was a very ambitious project. Thisa nodded, "Sounds like complicated work, there's a lot to sentience that we don't even understand in humans yet, I imagine its even more difficult to attempt creating it. What I'm doing is also related to robotics, you saw my notebook. What I'm doing tying create one that looks human, sure its easy enough to get the shape but there's so much more involved then just a human like skeleton. For one synthetic materials we have now are just... too prefect if that makes anyway sense, look at your skin now notice all the flaws on it, its just not smooth and uniform. Another part of it is tying to get the bot moving like a human, you've seen that we been able to build anthropic machines that walk on two legs, problem there is they walk too proper. If you ever watch someone walk or run there are irregularities, may not be noticeable but small things that don't make us perfect. Might be kinda odd really, trying to build an imperfect robot, but if we want a human like one they need to be flawed just like us." Thisa was really into the conversation now, its never too often she could find someone willing to sit down and listen to her ideas about her work. She took a breath and was about to jump into the next part of her speech when she noticed the time on her watch. She was going to be late if she didn't get moving right then, where did the time go? "Oh- uh, sorry I just noticed how much time's passed, think I need to get moving or else I'll end up being late today. I'll catch up with you later Harold." She shouted down to Timothy, "And you as well, uh... oh right Timothy." With that Thisa started her way to next class, after giving a smile and a wave.

Harold was about to go right into another spiel on AI and robotics with Thisa, but when she pointed out the fact she was going to be late, he took out his phone as well, and looked at the time. Remembering he had his own class to get to as well, he gave a slight grin and waved without his pinkey or ring fingers. Apperently another unique trait to Harold. He walked over to Tim after watching Thisa walk away for a moment, and spoke once more: "Ah Tim, it would appear we will be late to our classes if we procrastinate any longer. May we hold off on that tour until we have completed our school day perhaps?" Harold went on hoping to get more from his new acquaintence. "Ah, do you know where I might find...." Harold started asking for directions, quickly moving back to his original conversation with Tim once more.

**"Yeah..."** he mumbled in response, he didn't want to get homesick again, so he shook it off and focused on all of what else he said. He had checked the layout of the school and he memorized a bit of it, so he thought he'd be fine. **"The school doesn't seem extremely too complex, I don't have worry that I'll be fine, although I may need to know more about the city."** he had never been told any layout or toured the city, he had just been straight taken to the school, he didn't like that. **"I suppose maybe if I had the time. Settling into this new school may take a bit."** he said as Hide complimented and mentioned lessons. He had also seem to have a slight, hardly noticable smile on his face. **"Interesting, and that'd be your 'ability'?"** he asked, he assumed it was. **"If so, I'd like to know more about it."** One thing he liked about going to a school like this was the wide range of abilties everybody had, and he wanted to learn what the other student's abilities were.

"See you later," [Timothy](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2323135) returned [Theresa](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2326837)'s smile and wave with bright ones of his own, and stood up to receive [Harold](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2325616) when the boy approached. _"You must feel awkward,"_ Cadwal pierced, _"Being left out on all that."_ _"Well, just a bit. Nothing I could add anyway; I know little about computers."_ _"You know how to use the Internet,"_ Cadwal pointed out. _"I think they were talking about something much more complex than that."_ He took one last, big swig at his can of iced coffee before crushing it, and disposing of it in a nearby trash bin. Emerald eyes staring through those spectacles of his which glowed from reflected sunlight not without a little ominosity, Timothy was friendly in his continuing discourse with Harold. "Well, follow me to the classrooms first. I'll show you those places when our classes end."

Lunch break was ending and most of the students returned to their classrooms (others were skipping, but let's not discuss that) the chatter died down and for awhile, the campus was silent except for the sound of the wind rustling the trees, and the groans of the caverns in the hill nearby. **[Two Hours Later]** "Aah, it's finally free over!" said Random Student A (or RSA for short) "What time is the meeting between the Rulers again?" Random Student B (RSB) looked at her watch. "Seven-thirty, so we've got four hours left. Hey, wanna hit the gym later? I heard Jason was leading the group today." Other random topics popped up here and there between the student body, however, if one paid attention, you'd notice they were slowly gathering into groups. "Speaking of the Rulers, I hear Lietman is challenging Anderson for his place as Michael's lieutenant in thirty minutes behind the gym." "Really? Any bets?" Soon the classrooms were empty, save for a few. The student loitered around the vast campus, ready to enjoy their few hours of free time. --- **Time Before the Meeting: 3h : 45m : 17s**

Saoji found himself looking through an assortment of books in the school's library. He didn't really know what he was looking for. He guess that reading could potentially pass the time by. Finally, his hand rested on a book which had a title that was very interesting..."The Truth About Revolution". After using his library card to check out the book, he read the pages until he reached the cafeteria. He sat alone, uninterested in paying attention to anyone else other than that book. All he had to eat was an apple. The book was amazing, revolution was intense. A movement that begins when a group of people are oppressed by their successors. People will rise up and go to war with those who are hindering their way of life; even though many of these revolutionaries are not familiar with weaponry or war tactics. They were just normal everyday people fighting for what was right. Saoji bit into his apple and placed back on his lunch tray. Reading all of this information gave him ideas of how to create peace and bring harmony back to the world. All it takes is that one person who is willing to gain so much dangerous attention to lead the people. All it takes is for one person to undertake that risk and live with the consequences. Saoji noticed that he has never seen people form a union and fight against those in power before...maybe no one was willing to undergo such trials it takes to become a true leader. Perhaps people are afraid to? Whatever the reason, Saoji knows that people have become cruel to one another and it just didn't make any sense to him. He sat there and continued reading.

Ione attended to her classes dilligently, but wasn't able to really pay attention. She had, after all, been really rude to Saoji in the morning. Paige had been abnormally quiet all this time, so that also worried her. She knew that Paige was mad at her. After classes, she was finally able to walk away to get something to eat, though all the while she was mumbling to herself, and Paige. **"It is not like it is my fault. He was the first one to be rude at me, I think I payed him with the same coing. Besides, didn't you also shout some pretty awful things at him? How come all of the fault falls on me? I bet he ran away because of what you said."** Ione was pouting, and Paige followed close behind, floating behind her while sitting cross legged. After a long while, Paige finally broke the silence she had been in for so long. **"But he can't hear me, blockhead. The 'Playboy' part was uncalled for, and the boy looked really down as he walked away. You should apologize to him."** Paige said, nodding all the while. **"W-why!?"** She lifted her voice a bit, so more than one head turned at her. She blushed a bit and walked away as quickly as she could. **"He should be the one apologizing! Besides, I bet that if the one who had fallen down hadn't been a girl, he wouldn't have rushed to their side like some kind of knight in shining armor."** She puffed her cheeks, showing clearly that she was mad and dropping her Juliet persona completely. **"Don't think everyone is as much of a prick as you, Ione. You really need to go and apologize, I am sure that boy meant no harm, adn would have helped regardless of the sex of the one that fell down."** Paige said, being surprisingly foul-mouthed. **"Wha!? Paige, did you really just call me a prick?"** Ione was just arriving to the cafeteria as she talked with her ghostly friend. **"You can't just call me that and get away with... it?"** Unknowingly, and since she was so fixated on their talk, Paige had guided her all the way to the table Saoji was sitting in. **You little... "** Moving her lips to tell her 'good luck', Ione finally gave in. She took a seat in front of Saoji, but instead of saying anything, she just sit there, fidgeting around with her fingers. She wanted to have Saoji apologize first, after all.

Saoji sat their quietly until someone appeared before his table. When he looked up he noticed it was Juliet (is it cool if I just call her Juliet since I can capitalize that name instead of lone? <_<) Oh what did she want now? Was she here to insult him again? He sighed and put his fist under his chin and turned back to read his book. After a moment, it got pretty awkward just sitting there in front of her without saying anything. But when Saoji got lost in the pages of his book, he could care less about what happened that morning. But nothing was going to come out of the situation if they just sat there in silence. He sighed and spoke to her while still having his eyes on the book. **"I just wanted to help."** he said before turning to the next page. He understands that it is alright to be the bigger person, especially if he wanted to convince others how to behave; how to treat others the way they would like to be treated. Saoji was a softy when it came to less chaotic moments. It was worth a try anyway. Instead of reading the book, he turned his gaze at Juliet and gave her his full attention. **"I didn't appreciate what you said to me this morning. But when people are in need of help...we help them right? I don't care who it is and whatever happens to them. Whether the trouble is big or small, the right thing to do is help them, right? That is what a good leader does. It says so here in this book."** he said and pointed at the book.

"C'mon, man, it'll be fun," [Timothy](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2323135)'s acquaintance insisted, as the former retrieved a Nescafé from the vending machine. "It is barbaric," Tim's eyes met his gaze. "Dumb." "There you go again, man. Always a downer." "I told you, Aiden, I'm not interested in participating in the student politics here. I am not joining Michael's..." he rolled his eyes as he tried to find the appropriate word, "... gang." "Staying neutral is dangerous, bro." "I've been safe for a week; I'll be safe for the rest of the semester." At this, Aiden sighed. "Well, I don't recommend that, but it's your choice. But even if you don't wanna join the groups, it should be a good show with Lietman and Anderson." "I would rather go to church," Tim said honestly. But then there were figures in the distance calling out Aiden's name, and so he had to excuse himself. "Ah, man, I gotta go. See you later, Tim!" "Of course," Tim said distantly, and then he began to make way for the library, resolute in his disinterest towards the upcoming fight. Walking down the hallways and greeting cordially one of his teachers who happened to cross paths with him, he finished his coffee rather quickly, and so made proper use of the trash bins at the library entrance, which wasn't too much of a hassle to find, since he had been using the facility quite often since his arrival here. _"It is good to stay out of all that,"_ Cadwal voiced as the doors were opened. _"They are all gifted handsomely by the Lord, and they misuse their powers in an ugly, selfish game."_ _"Thank you. I needed that."_ _"You plan to finish your Pacific War book in this place?"_ _"I should be finished with it before lights-out."_ His eyes dragged themselves all over the place till he found the nearest table that was also rather vacant. He took note of the [girl](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75166/posts/char#post-2323885) so comfortably asleep even against the hard wooden surface, but decided to use the spot anyway. Treading lightly, Timothy pulled out a chair across her, sat down, and engaged the built-in book rest and began to read about the largest banzai charge in the history of the Pacific War. _"I wonder if she slumbered through her classes,"_ Cadwal commented, but Timothy gave no reply, engrossed as he was, being transported back in time to witness Admiral Nagumo, architect of the victory at Pearl Harbor, commit honorable suicide.

Harold was worried. He was standing outside his final hour classroom, but he was not seeing any signs of Tim. (Perhaps he forgot? That would be the most logical conclusion in this instance, as he did not seem to be of the sort to leave promises and the like unfulfilled when at all possible....) Harold wasn't really sure how to feel about that. On one hand, his new acquaintence had forgotten to meet up with him, but on the other hand, he himself probably would have too....he gets so sidetracked by all the ideas that pop in his head, and by paying so much attention in class.... He decided he would wait 5 more minutes for any sign of Tim. Or maybe Thisa. (Ms. Thisa was indeed an interesting companion to converse with. I see no fault in wishing to talk with her again in the future....) So Harold leaned against the wall, shifted his bags around to get comfortable, and took off his glasses and started cleaning them while he waited.

There were so many poetic things to describe sleep: it was the precursor of death, it was a restful serenity that lulled the body, and such and such. However, the only thing Poppy could think when she stretched her back and blearily blink open her eyes, was how crappy and groggy she felt. If she were to be an object at this moment, she would be a beat-up old car, brown with rust, and barely drudging down the road. It didn’t help that, at a quick glance at her wrist, Poppy discovered that she had completely missed school. _“I knew I shouldn’t have stayed up last night reading Harry Potter…”_ Poppy thought to herself, placing a palm under her cheek and begrudgingly lifting herself from the table quietly. It was only then that she noticed the boy across from her, reading. Crap, Poppy was always awkward around people she didn’t know. _“Think quick, what do I say?”_ “Er, um, ah, is that…a good book?” Poppy mentally hit herself at the poor excuse of a conversation-starter. Of course it was a good book, _he was reading it. _

Ione heard attentively to what Saoji had to say. Well... Paige was right, most probably. It seems Saoji wasn't as self centered as she initially thought. She was really embarrassed now though. Ione felt that Saoji was trying to pierce her with his eyes, or maybe that's just what she thought. Those judging eyes. Ione looked down, her hat covering her eyes. Paige put her hands around Ione's neck as if she was strangling her, though nothing happened. **"Just say you are sorry, you stubborn girl!"** **"Fine... Fine, I'll say it, you stupid ghost!"** She shouted, feeling really embarrassed and standing up from her sit. She sat back down, took her hat off and put it in the table, grasping tightly unto it. **"I'm sorry, what I said earlier was out of place. I was just angry because you left me talking alone, all right! I'm sorry, forgive me, let's leave this behind us and start all over again, shall we?!"** After spouting all of that out, Ione took a deep breath and then started again. **"I am Ione Juliett Barnett, and I have a ghost friend called Paige, good afternoon, how are you doing?"** She said, just like if that was the first time they met and extending her hand to him.

Poppy’s face became as red as her namesake and she hastily patted down the disheveled blonde locks. How embarrassing. Meeting someone for the first time and her hair is all whack – _“just my luck.”_ “Uh, ah, thanks.” Poppy cleared her throat and scrubbed at her cheeks, just in case there were any marks from her sleeping. She must look like a mess to…ah, she didn’t know his name. Maybe she should have asked that first? But isn’t it rude to ask for someone’s name before giving your own. Before she could even think, she blurted out, too loud for an introduction but quiet enough to not be a yell, “I’m Poppy.” The nearby librarian hushed her and Poppy bowed her head in apology before leaning forward and saying quietly, “I’m Poppy.”

Well classes came and passed, for Thisa some quiet time was alright. Other then her brief meeting with Harold and Timothy from earlier she had not spoken with anyone else, why would she? She didn't feel like going back to her dorm room yet, besides lot of the students been talking about a meeting later that day, while Thisa didn't care about what the self-proclaimed rulers of the school had to say, a meeting would be interesting to watch at the very least. In the end Thisa decided to sit visit the cafeteria, the large room had a lot of healthy sunlight which made it a decent place to wait around in. The area wasn't completely empty, two students were already there, in fact she recognized one as Mr.Playboy himself, well if he was that kind of guy, the other one was a girl Thisa didn't know. Their presences didn't matter so she ignored and found a table in the far corner from the entrance to settle down in. Without a second thought Thisa searched in her bag to pull out the notebook, after all she had more then enough free time to make a few changes to her designs.

He gasped when Lone stood up from her seat and shouted. She must have been talking to Paige. His eyes grew wide as he frantically looked from side to side at the others in the cafeteria who all looked at them. Once she sat back down, he sighed and became calm. He gasped yet again when she took off her hat...her hair made her look extremely beautiful. He was breathless after that with his mouth wide open. Saoji has never had a crush on someone before, but Lone was really pretty. He could tell that she was a bit stubborn and this made him smile. He nodded his head and gently took her hand. Instead of giving her a hand shake, he kissed her hand ever so gently. **"It's nice to...re-meet you...Juliet and...Paige..."** he said as he greatly smiled. Many would believe that Saoji was weird, one minute he is alone and by himself and the next he becomes charming. What others fail to realize is that Saoji is made up of love and care. A fifteen year old kid who wanted nothing more but to treat others the right way, even if that means making girls blush. **"And I'm Saoji Mikami..."** after that last sentence, he stopped feeling all emotion just then. His eyes went blank as he remembered what happened the week before he arrived at the school. Those men...those evil terrifying men. **"My name is...Saoji Mikami...and I'm on the run from a terrible gang...T-they wanted to use me to get to my father...They wanted to kill him and threatened to kill me if I didn't give them what they wanted..."** he released her hand and sighed, looking down at the table as he continued. **"My father is a very rich man who owns a thriving business out in the city of Japan. There were others who wanted to take his business away from him and they would do anything to get it. As I was sent off to the school, I had to travel by myself. That is when I saw them chasing me through the subway station. Yelling at me to give them my father's location...but I escaped them. I heard one of them say that my family went missing. I haven't heard from them since my arrival here."** he turned his gaze back at her. **"That is why I want to help people. To rid this world like the men who only saw death and yen in their eyes. And I will stop at nothing!"** he slammed his hand on the book cover. The title, "The Truth About Revolution" could be seen between his fingers. His scowl looked demonic almost as anger poured through his veins, his teeth clinched. But his body returned to harmony after a moment as he sighed. **"I'm sorry..."** he finally said.
