Personality: Oceana is very calm and collective. Her personality matches her name very well. She goes with the flow and does whatever her king tells her to do. She is dearly devoted to protecting the city. She would give her life to make sure that the beauty of the golden city is kept. She is hardly ever angry, but when she is, she sometimes loses control and goes overboard with anything that is said to her. She is never sad and the only time she ever cries is when she is frustrated. These last emotions hardly ever happen though. Oceana sometimes seems without any emotion whatsoever, but those who are close to her have seen a good side in her and are the only ones who have actually seen her emotions outside of the calm and collected warrior she is. Faction: Babylon Role: Goldbearer Background: Oceana was born in raised in Babylon her whole life. From when she was little, her parents knew that she was meant for something greater. She would always be doing different things that normal girls wouldn’t do: she would tinker in the garage, play football with the boys, among so many other non-girly things. They absolutely loved her for it and she loved them. They went on a business trip out of town when she was very young and never came back. She would sit on the porch of their house each day and night, waiting for them to return. As she got older, she realized that they would not. The sad truth is they were murdered while they were out there for being from Babylon. Her parents’ deaths are what cause her drive and devotion. She began to train more physically and began to practice with many weapons, including guns. She would almost never leave the gym and the only time she did was to go to school and throw herself into her studies. Along with the loss of her parents, she lost her emotions and her parents’ deaths shaped her into the woman she was today. He loves to push himself to the limits and go faster at anything than what he has ever tried before. He is very emotional, but he’s more on the positive, excited side of emotional rather than the dreary, quiet side. He is loud and not afraid to express his feelings toward anyone. He has no filter when it comes to his thoughts that he wants to say. He is hardly ever angry, but when he is, he tries to calm himself down by not speaking for however long it takes him to calm down. Though he is an adult, he sometimes acts like a little kid on the inside. Faction: Babylon Role: 2nd Oldest Shapeshifter Background: Gideon grew up here, the same as Oceana. He didn’t have as good of a life as she had though. He grew up without knowing his parents. He was put in an adoption home when he was really young and bounced from house to house. He was never the “perfect” child that anyone wanted. He was always so exuberant that some people couldn’t handle him. He hated all of the parents’ houses that he went to because he didn’t connect with them. When his powers developed, it seemed like a way out for him. Name: Yvon Sekatoran Aka The Broken Man Age: 42 Gender:M Sexuality: Asexual Personality: A stoic person at glance, but a cold passion burns within him. Yvon is fueled by his hatred of the Babylonian's, and his desire to bring the civilization down. A cruel, and driven person, Yvon will do anything to bring about the fall of Babylon and it's people. His methods and action's are usually perceived as cruel, but Yvon knows that they are necessary. Although seemingly ruthless, Yvon does hold a soft spot for children, and will break his normal "cruel" persona if he does see one in harm's way. He's very independent and aloof, but will work together if it means completing a common goal. As expected, Yvon will show little compassion, and is very harsh to work with, and even talk to. Faction: Rebirth Role: Cursed One Background: Yvon was a accountant long before the collapse, a simple man that loved his family and did his job. He had a son named Luka, a daughter named Rosanne, and a wife, Emilia. He lived in Upper Manhattan, in a somewhat above average home, in a decent neighborhood, a good life indeed. At first it was shaking, and Yvon and his family mistook for nothing more than a minor earthquake, then the fires begun, the looting, and the overall anarchy of the situation began, sadly during this time, Luka was crushed under a falling piece of debris. With the clothes on their back they traveled across the country, because they had heard rumors of a Utopia. So they did, and during this journey Emilia was lost due to malnutrition, but nonetheless, they continued in hope of a salvation. After a endless time of struggling to survive, they finally arrived at the Gate's of Babylon. They denied them access to Babylon. Yvon cursed, spat and bashed against the gate the he could not pass. The guard on watch fired a warning shot to stop Yvon's rage. Yvon only heard the faint gasp of his daughter, and the arrow piercing her. He took his daughter's corpse, and calmly walked away from the Gates. Yvon's eyes which had always been full of willpower, were now cold and sunken in, and as he walked with this daughter's corpse in hand, he came across a man named Deveaux, and from the moment they met each other's eyes, he knew Yvon was a broken man. He is good at generating ideas, but bad at following through. Quick wit and an even quicker tongue can cause him to seem rude and sometimes mean, but he does his best to hold himself back. He is excitable and extroverted as well as outspoken and loves to debate. Rik hates being alone. Some may see him as dishonest or unethical, due to his lack of hesitation when it comes to lying as well as how he is usually the first person to point out the least humane solution to a problem. He has little empathy and is neutral on matters and people that do not directly involve him. Faction: Rebirth Role: Cursed One Background: All of Rik’s immediate family died in the collapse. He had been out of town on a fishing trip when everything went down. By the time he managed to make his way back to his hometown, the place was deserted. The streets were barren, the windows of houses and shops were smashed open with their insides gutted of anything of value in this new chaotic world. Hating the idea of being alone and knowing he would soon die if he continued to do so, Rik joined a group of people he met up with while scavenging. They were small at first, but when they ran into Deveaux and his Rebirth group, the size of their allies grew immensely. Rik joined Rebirth and pledged his loyalty to Deveaux, hoping to restore the world to its former state and happy to be around others while doing so. Special Power: Side-Effect: (What's the price?)
