Congratulations on sticking with me this far in your interests of Genesis! If you want a plot summary please revisit the IntChk (That I will conveniently link [here](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/74427/posts/ooc) ) as I do not repeat myself needlessly if I can keep from it. Here in this OOC place my first thing to tell you about is the basics of plot for chapter one. As we know already the earth is in turmoil and yada yada,... Well almost. Chapter one actually starts right at the beginning of the apocalypse! So nobody knows about fissures yet and whatnot. It all begins at St.Peter's Hospital in the middle of a town called Hope. If you couldn't be any more ironic. A high school legend (in this sense not a very good legend to some), Dallas Johnson, has been put into a coma by a car accident. His mother has finally opened up to visitors. This is where you guys come in. All seven players must be in the same room by the second post rotation in order for the roleplay to continue as planned, if it takes just a bit longer that won't be to bad honestly. When all characters are gathered Dallas will awake with some information that will further the plot line. So with that out of the way here are some posting conventions. -As this roleplay goes on look for strikethrough'd paragraphs describing necessary player information needed to understand the direction of the plot. -We will be posting in such a way that the next "post rotation" does not happen until all seven players have completed the prior. Unlike previous attempts with this RP we will not be utilizing a turn based system, so order doesn't matter until I say otherwise. - Italics will be used for "flashbacks" that help flesh out the characters history rather than it happening in the CS. That way players don't have to look back to your CS every time they need to recall something as reading something in the RP holds more ground in ones memory because of the nature of such things. -You have free reign over your characters but I will largely be monopolizing the plot for issues with story arcs. In some situations I will thrust a duty upon your character in order to test their limits. -You will want to be able to eat, sleep, and breath your character to get the most out of this thing. You may cry, you may jump for joy, you may scream and throw your computer out the window, but you must be deeply involved with how well you know your character. She was often teased for being too boney or too skinny, but she mostly shrugged off the criticism. Her white-blonde hair ends in a more grown out bob just above her shoulders, though her bangs are cut a bit above her eyebrows. She has a straight nose, brown eyes, and small lips. Some of her friends like to say that her long lost celebrity twin is Krysten Ritter, though Joanna says they’re full of shit. >She has a mole under her right eye and a septum piercing, thick eyebrows and a penchant for wearing bright lipsticks. She often wears simple black clothes and is never seen without the opal ring she wears on her middle finger. >Personality: Joanna goes by ‘Jo’ to most people and introduces herself as such. She tends to be overly caring and is the ‘mother’ of her friend group, though her stand-offish air and permanent resting bitch-face intimidates people at first. Joanna loves caring for plants and owns a cat that she adores. Their parents were rather neglectful and apathetic about their daughters, so Meredith took Joanna in as soon as she turned eighteen and could provide for her younger sister. Joanna did well in school and excelled in the arts. She didn’t go to college, preferring to work simple jobs and do what she wanted on her own time. >She never had interest in dating around when she was in high school, seeing how her parents had turned out, she wanted to avoid even the possibility of bringing an unhappy child into the world. Secretly she has a huge fear of commitment and becoming stuck in a cyclical lifestyle. ####Joseph Peter Strongfellow ######(Referred to as JP by most) ####Fourteen Years Old ####Male **Appearance** The girls at school call him cute. His cheeks slant inward at the right places and his chin is slightly angular, though the point softens to a subtle parabola. His nose is not too big, but large enough that his mother refers to it as 'a strong German man's nose.' With eyes as beautiful as the rolling waves of the ocean, they shimmer and dance in the sun, fluctuating between blue and green. He is not excessively tall or large, standing at five and a half feet and weighing 145 pounds. For a boy that is trapped in the early stages of puberty, his skin is relatively clear. A small pimple stands out in stark contrast to his otherwise fair and pure skin. Feathers of the white blonde are neatly combed into order every morning before he leaves his bedroom to join his mother and father at the breakfast table. The boy's wardrobe is ample but simple: polos and khakis are for school while jeans and t-shirts are meant for play. Every Sunday, the boy wears a suit and tie beneath the garb that makes up the uniform of an Altar Boy. Joseph owns two pieces of jewelry threaded on the same thin, golden chain, tucked gently out of sight beneath the neckline of his shirt: a cross and a swastika, both given to him by his father. **Personality** There are three rules when you are a member of the Strongfellow family. - The word of God is law. - The word of the parent is law. - The family is first; the Skin is second. In public, Joseph is a kind boy that holds the door for elderly people leaving the pharmacy on a regular basis. He is the boy seen at the animal shelter sweeping out cages and feeding the cats while collecting no wages. Joseph is a swell kid. There is no evidence to prove otherwise. Every word spoken to any person is one of chivalry and quaint humor: he tells no dirty jokes to his friends at school and he never speaks an ill word of another person. Behind the Strongfellow walls, only the white friends are allowed to come to dinner. There are no other friends that are spoken of to Mother and Father. They do not exist nor will they ever. His room is always straight, his dishes always washed. Other parents would be delighted to have half the son that the Strongfellow's do. This behavior, however, is not a treat for them; it was taught from the time the boy was learning to walk. **Brief Biography** Hope has always been home. Raised in the town from birth, Joseph has left three times in his life. Once to visit his grandparents and twice he attended the White Youth Association's Young Leaders retreat. Taught from a young age that bloods were never to be mixed, Joseph lives his life according to the three rules set in stone by generations of Strongfellows. Once the danger of handling a firearm was no longer feared by the boy, but respected, he was taught to use one. It began with BB guns and soon expanded into light .22 caliber rifles. By time he was ten, he learned, with some difficulty, to fire a .45 caliber handgun with formidable accuracy. He learned to hunt and to fish, to identify poisonous plants and edible berries. There is always a survival bag at the ready in case Joseph must leave without the company of his parents. The fourth rule, unspoken and unnecessary to be written, is preparation. An hour's preparation in the morning secures success in the evening. **Relationship with Parents** Joseph's parents love him equally. He has learned to cook on an open fire from his father, to bake from his mother. He learned the ways of the wilderness from his mother and her books of herbs; his father taught him to fish and fire handguns, how to sharpen a knife and the best way to make a spear. His obedience has earned him a cache of knowledge and superb treatment from both parents. The only tie that sets his father apart from his mother are the two pendants he gave Joseph for his Twelfth birthday. **Virtue** Humility *If you want a fresh character sheet and a new character, let me know.
