Hmm. Younger poster on the forum starts a thread: I keep seeing a guy outside my window. He's there and then he's gone. Tonight I watched him as he opened some kind of, um, portal, and went through. I couldn't see anything else. It's the arched gateway leading into the chapel across from my apartment. It's so fucking creepy. Every night he's been there, in a red rain jacket with some sort of dog following him. They both go through. I wonder where it goes. And enter Lauren. And possibly super secret sin eater FBI agent. There are traits that would indicate that it is a Changeling, archway, portal, ya ya.

Also. Wild. You say that as if my character is actually the creepy one. Yours were in a damn cult. A CULT MAN, A CULT. Whether it is actually a cult or not is not the point.

Oh that! Well yeah, that is creepy but it's not their fault. They find it creepy too. The part of them that's not used to it lol.

Lauren shows up, investigates the area, and is thoroughly confused to find absolutely nothing that would indicate a gate to the Underworld--no ghosts, no sick feeling in her stomach, no rivers of blood/pestilence/scorpions----so she decides to sit on the curb and fade from view (via Stillness Shroud: she's not actually invisible, just really hard to notice or remember) and see what happens. New supernatural stuff is always exciting! Let's say when the guy described in the forum post shows up, she follows him, watches him open the gate, and interrupts him before he can step through. Something like walking up a few paces behind him and clearing her throat before asking, "Hey, um, that's a really neat trick! What is it, exactly?"

Sounds about like normal Changeling to me! Being a sin-eater doesn't grant any kind of magesight or anything beyond being able to see the Twilight and ghosts, so he's just going to look like normal pretty much always, I'd think. Lauren, similarly, just looks like a normal, if perhaps slightly out of place, twenty-something woman who is only mildly perturbed by the glowing doorway. The wolf would probably be more unsettling, she'd focus on that more than anything else.

Okay Special Agent Nathan Carter is like 98% done (Just gotta edit it to include his picture) but if you want to take a look he is in the character section, where if I have ok'd your character you may also move your CS

if you want a semi trashy dark urban fantasy read with that sort of stuff in it I recommend Black Dog

Changeling shadows depict their true form. Bilefruit is able to hide it though. Just a note.

Excited! Posted Lauren's sheet in the Characters section, plus a couple minor adjustments (added her Keystone's skill, and decided that she knows some judo and has the Passion Key now, nothing huge).
