This is the first of a series of D&D campaigns of my own device, which I like to call "Stories of great élan and little credibility". The classes, skills and level advancement rules used will be those of D&D 3.5, whereas everything else may derive from any other available rulebook, or even be homebrew styled, as long as there is a thorough description provided. Anyone who wishes to join must post their character sheet, all details filled in. This is an urban campaign, so I wouldn't recommend creating a ranger or druid character. On the contrary, a rogue among the group would be indispensable. As of races, you are free to choose whichever you may, but please, don't make a mummer's company out of your group. One character from the monster manual might be interesting, three would be too many. Moreover, this campaign has a good bit of the mystery element, so investing some of your 25 points in intelligence, dexterity and charisma could be a good idea, depending on the type of character you want to create. I will start the game as soon as I have a group of three. From that point on, I may accept more players in the game, if I find their characters appropriate for the story.
This can work in two ways. We can play out sessions at a set day and time (which can only be on Thursdays, really), or post longer texts whenever we have time. In the latter case, dice rolls will still be used to determine the outcome of many of the characters' actions (I'll be using my own set of dice for that), though in a broader sense. So, if you are thinking of joining, let me know which of the two is preferable to you.
