Hello everyone, I've been unable to find an RP that scratches my RP itch so I'm making my own again. It's been a while since I've bothered to run an RP but here is the basic idea. Humanity has reached as far as Neptune (and it's moon Triton). We have all but mastered interplanetary travel through the use of stationary 'gates' which facilitate faster-than-light travel between two pre-established points. Many planets and moons in the system have been colonized and are teaming with life. Interplanetary trade and travel is common as commercial and private spacecraft are readily available to the public, although the vastness of space has brought rise to a new age of piracy. The logistical nightmare of governing multiple planets has lead to many colonies forming their own governments. Most colonies nearest to Earth still adhere to the laws of the first unified government of Earth known as the Terran Union which orchestrated the colonization of our solar system. The Terran Union's law enforcement agency, known as the IPA (Interplanetary Police Agency), struggles to keep order in the outer colonies as piracy is much more prevalent in and beyond the asteroid belt. Sound interesting? If I get enough people interested I'll flesh out the universe but if you haven't guessed already this is heavily influenced by Cowboy Bebop and a lesser known series called Outlaw Star. Also, I promise the OOC won't be a giant wall of text.

Count me in. I made an idea for a setting like this a little while ago. I would like to join please!

Okay cool. I'm glad to help in any way I can! The idea I had was pretty much there was a group of bad guys trying to take over the galaxy and bounty hunters, pirates, pilots got together to try to stop them lol
