I definitely agree.

While i wont go into detail on what will happen, I can say expect some choices for some of your characters.

Almost done with my post. Sorry I didn't get it done yesterday, the internet was acting up.

Is it okay If my character is like... farther back, taking the job of taking down any enemies that try to slip past and loot/pillage/burn/destroy anything behind, or try to flank the soldiers? And can I have a better description of where we're fighting? At first I thought it was a bridge, where our side is on the far side, the city on the opposite side, and the enemies trying to take the bridge from us to reach the city- and yet, launching onself from roof to enemies would mean crossing some chasm? I have no idea the layout we're dealing with, besides buildings, bridge, wall and broken gate. Ideally, one would want to keep enemies from getting through the gate, but I guess that's out the gate, so to speak.

I tried to address this in my opening post but i guess i was a little vague. The setting is we are fighting at the gate of a Castle, where the fight taking place is on a wide road leading to the Bridge. I left the layout blank on purpose, allowing y'all to paint your own small picture of what you imagined it to be with the details i gave. So you know there is a wall, and connected to the walls is the gate. beyond the gate a great road travels through a small market district, with both houses and shops dotting both sides of the road with many side streets and narrow alley ways to boast. Not far from the gate lay the Sky bridge, a massive and long bridge that connects the eastern castle to the Castle Solvano. You could do that. That is up for you to decide, yet stray away from being alone for long (a note to everyone) I, at this point, will allow you to write in NPC soldiers to aid in your fight but this will not always be the case. As per my IC, the soldiers have resisted a weeks worth of assaults on the walls and held. The only reason we are fighting by the gate with the bulk of our forces is because, again, as per my IC post a siege engine walked itself to the gate forcing us to ready our defenders on the road. But take note; the enmey is not hear to pillage or burn. if they do break through it will be to outflank our soldiers, or kill any straggling civilians left in the city.
