Hello again, everyone! Dewey here again with enough coffee to fuel an Army. This is my 3rd interest check on this site, and I figured, since the new format has me unable to edit my old ones, I'll just make another. I'm just your average guy who enjoys writing and developing stories, and I'm willing to do almost anything. As with everyone, I have certain limits, but mine are simple and I try not to go on and on about them, aside from what's necessary. So, here's some things you should know before I list my ideas:
That seems to be all as far as rules I can think of, so now that you've read all that, here are my ideas! I hope you find something you like! Just a note that these are set in the modern day, unless otherwise specified, and as well you can mix and match the ideas listed. :)
Ideas with a * preceding the hider are ones I am very interested in doing! Ones that I am not accepting partners for will have a < preceding them.

-All Characters must be, at the least, 18 years old if the intention of the plot is for romance to happen. There can be certain exemptions from this, most notably if a lengthy amount of time is to be spanned where the character would start at an age younger, but at the end of the time would be at least 18 before a romance happened.
-While I prefer MxM, I will do MxF, but I will not do FxF. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy roleplaying female characters, so I will always have a male characters as my main role, but I will use female characters as side roles.
-If you become disinterested in a roleplay, or are going to be gone for an extended amount of time (longer than two or three days), I'd like to know, or have some type of heads up. Recently I've had many roleplaying partners simply disappear and stop responding, despite how much work we'd put into the roleplays. And, I've also had people blatantly ignore me upon contacting them to see about what happened. Talk about rude.
-I expect a response at least once a day, and if you cannot respond on certain days, again, I'd like to know. I'm pretty lenient on this, seeing that I may go an entire day without responding due to, you know, life.
-I do enjoy OOC and love to make friends with those I roleplay with. Feel free to chat outside of the roleplay.
-I have almost no limits on sexual encounters within roleplays, but I will let you know if there is something I don't approve of or that I don't want to see.
-I have almost no limits on violence and other dark themes within roleplays, but as said previously, I will let you know if something comes up.
-I tend to try to write at least two paragraphs per response in a roleplay, but depending on the situation, I may put more or less. However, I will never leave you with less than one full paragraph. I expect the same from you.
-I am not a perfect roleplaying partner, so I will make mistakes here and there with typos and other small errors, but otherwise I am completely and fully literate and capable of writing in detail and with proper sentence structure. Literacy and a coherent writing ability are a must if you are to roleplay with me. I can't stand text speak and constant spelling errors.
-As far as character creation goes, I prefer to use character sheets to describe/display a character before the roleplay starts. I use real images or a description for appearances. I am not into anime at all.
-I am perfectly alright with characters being of any race, ethnicity, etc. Just because I'm white doesn't mean I won't roleplay with a character who isn't, in both senses. I want to diversify my characters, and if you want to as well, feel free!
-I prefer to roleplay through PMs, due to the mature nature of most roleplays I do.
-Non-romantic roleplays are perfectly alright, though I do feel that they tend to get boring.
-Also, I had a situation with another roleplayer where PMs apparently didn't get sent or weren't going through, so we moved to email. If you think this to be the case, simply ask for my email address and we'll move from the site in order to bypass any errors that may happen here.

I absolutely love Fallout NV, and would love to do maybe a relationship between a Legionary and an NCR Soldier. If that doesn't suir your fancy, then we can come up with something else! I'm craving Fallout.

Set in the Mass Effect universe, likely to be set in the events of ME3, two people find romance in the Reaper Invasion. I used to limit this to just humans, since that's what I'm into, but I'm opening up more to the idea of Turians, Quarians, and Asari. Unfortunately, I still have to say no to Krogan. How on earth do you even roleplay a Krogan?

Mad Scientist and Assistant or Mad Scientist and Experiment or Assistant and Experiment
Set in the future, but not too much so. Think like, 50-100 years from now. A Mad Scientist is working in an underground laboratory for a corrupt corporation that is funded by the government. He has unlimited resources and uses them for sickening and horrific experiments, many of which kill the test subjects. Most people can't stand witnessing what he does, and those that do are deemed as fucked up as the scientist himself. He goes through assistants like candy on Halloween, and never expects them to stick around for long, knowing the extremely harsh nature of his career. His most horrific and long-running experiment has been to create the perfect human being, with no type of susceptibility to disease or injuries, by altering genetics with volatile serums, and patchwork reanimation. His failed experiments often either die, or become abominations which he finds other uses for, usually another one of his cruel experiments. It is like walking into a house of horrors every time someone enters the lab to speak with the crazed doctor. He feels no remorse and no regret for the suffering he causes. Note that the tone of this roleplay will be very dark and graphic in nature. Tread carefully.

In a typical setting, two people seem perfectly normal and tame to the outside. They're intelligent and well-spoken, and live virtually squeaky-clean, that is, until the romance hits the mattress. BDSM themed roleplay, very sexual in nature. While I'm not totally certain of what kind of a plot to use, I do know that I'd a like it to be centered on the lustful romance. We'll talk more about it via PM.

Hospital coworkers, perhaps something akin to the video game series "Trauma Center/Trauma Team"? Not much else I can think of for this idea, but I absolutely adore the medical field.
A devious employee looks to get ahead in their career by getting close with the boss, but they may get a little too close, and wind up looking for more than just a promotion.
In this category lay the "taboo" relationship ideas. Step-brothers, a step-father and step-son, that type of thing. I will not do biological incest. Currently not looking for any step-sibling relationship ideas.
An older character, above thirty years of age, but below fifty, gets involved with a much younger character, at least eighteen, but below twenty-five. This can go through most any type of plot, and can pair up with some of the ones above. Always interested in this idea.
Branching off of an idea I had in a previous interest check. You can make whatever variations of this you'd like, if you're not into fantasy. Personally, by the way, I'd want to play the stranger in this roleplay.
In a northern land, frozen in a harsh winter, a stranger wanders into the territory of a group of tribal hunters who rescue him from death. This stranger, however, is a mystic of another land, with odd abilities that are seen as evil from the tribe. He has horns atop his head and fingernails pointed like claws. The myths and legends have long since told of a mythic being with horns, coming and claiming the tribe as its own, but the people perceive that as the evil mystic killing and threatening them with their terrifying powers. Perhaps it is not through violence, but love, and a much more peaceful claiming of the throne. The Tribe's leader, while hesitant, knows in his heart and mind that this stranger is what the legends spoke of. He refuses, however, to give up all power to the man. Instead, he decides that he must woo the stranger, and rule with him, to keep his tribe safe.

A man is imprisoned in a foreign nation for a crime he didn't commit, and is cut off from contact with his home country, even as his family panics when the date he was supposed to return passes by. The man talks with another prisoner in the cell beside him when the guards aren't around, and the two are quick to formulate a plan to escape the prison. When the moment is right, they manage to escape with only minor wounds, but then comes the task of contacting their home nation and finding a way home while the authorities of their captor nation hunt them down.

I recently started re-watching an old anime I used to love; Ghost In The Shell, and while I'm no expert, I'm attentive to the series, and the more I watch the more I'm learning. I don't necessarily have any plot ideas, but I am interested in roleplaying this very much. Though, with this roleplay, I still expect moderate realism (no outrageous hair styles/colors, etc.). As for images for characters, I expect real ones. So, set in the GITS world, but with realism instead of anime. I've never been a big fan of anime, but this is one series I enjoy for the creativity in it.

This will take quite a bit of explanation.
So, a child lives just outside of a suburban town, deep in the mountains with their parents, surrounded by forests and wilderness. As a toddler, they grow fond of the outside and spend much time in in the front and back yard of their home. They often feed the crows that live in the nearby trees. These crows start bringing the toddler little gifts, like tokens of appreciation for being fed. They're nothing special, just little scraps of plastic and metal the crows find. But the toddler starts a collection, and believes the crows to be their friends.
The toddler's parents are a bit wary at first, but seeing that the crows don't harm their child, they leave it be for the most part. As the toddler grows into a young teenager, they venture into the forests to get closer to the crows, feeding them more often, and even holding them in their hands. A few crows begin to follow the teenager wherever they go, to school, to the store, and there's always one on the windowsill of their bedroom. The teen's parents grow to accept this as an interesting quirk of their child; an affinity for crows.
In high school, the teen is bullied for their strange connection with the crows, and they're labeled as an outcast and a social reject. After an incident in school, the parents of the "crow kid" become wary. After school on a rainy day, the teenager is being followed by bullies, and the confrontation becomes physical, but not for long. The crows swoop in to aid the victim, attacking the assailant, leaving deep cuts and pecks on their face, body, and arms, though nothing to damage the bully permanently. No administrative action is taken due to the odd circumstances, though the "crow kid" is further outcast, and their parents warn them to stop being with the crows. The teen refuses, knowing the crows had good intentions and were only protecting their friend.
In their last year of high school, the bully returns with a plot for revenge, following the "crow kid" home and attacking them in the forest with a knife, attempting to give them similar scars that the crow had given the bully. But the crows come to their protection again, this time, in a much more starling way, a mass of crows swirl like a whirlwind, and form a human in all black with black hair and red eyes. Their nails are sharp and their movements twitchy and erratic like a bird's as they pull the attacker off of their friend and run him off, before coming to the aid of the victim. After making certain they will be okay, the crow, now in human form, goes with the teen back to their home.
Their parents are startled and shocked, but after an explanation, the crow is allowed to stay with them. The crow can shift from human for into multiple crows, but seems to prefer being as close as possible to the one they protect. As time continues, the crow learns and adapts to human society, but is always watching over their friend.
So, with all of that explained, the plot could revolve around the crow's evolving feelings for their friend, and since I enjoy romance, I'd think it would end up in love eventually. There could also be something involving other animals that can shapeshift into humans. I'm not totally certain, but I love this idea. I came up with it all on my own. :D

So, this one's pretty simple. Set in the 1800s (think colonial era France and England), a housekeeper/maid and the one employing them fall for each other. The employer is likely a rich politician or general, and since the housekeeper is of lower class, it's seen as very taboo for them to be together. If you don't like the time setting, we can easily change this idea around a lot, with different eras and settings. Feel free to make your own idea out of this one.
There are two versions of this.
One: A prisoner is locked in a maximum security prison for a crime they didn't commit. A guard of the prison works tirelessly to free them after hearing the story, but it's a struggle. The prisoner is a target by other prisoners, who attempt to harm him on multiple occasions.
Two: A prisoner, very much guilty and proud of his crimes, is known for luring in people to end their lives. Though, deemed insane, the prisoner attends daily sessions with a psychiatrist. This psychiatrist is bold and brave, but somehow feels magnetized towards the dangerous prisoner.
And I'm sure there are many other things you guys can come up with. Feel free to build off of these or make your own!
