WW1 the first stage:
World War I (WWI or WW1), also known as the First World War or the Great War, was a global war centred in Europe that began on 28 July 1914 and lasted until 11 November 1918. More than 9 million combatants and 7 million civilians died as a result of the war, a casualty rate exacerbated by the belligerents' technological and industrial sophistication, and tactical stalemate. It was one of the deadliest conflicts in history, paving the way for major political changes, including revolutions in many of the nations involved.
The war drew in all the world's economic great powers, which were assembled in two opposing alliances: the Allies (based on the Triple Entente of the United Kingdom, France and the Russian Empire) and the Central Powers of Germany and Austria-Hungary. Although Italy had also been a member of the Triple Alliance alongside Germany and Austria-Hungary, it did not join the Central Powers, as Austria-Hungary had taken the offensive against the terms of the alliance. These alliances were reorganised and expanded as more nations entered the war: Italy, Japan and the United States joined the Allies, and the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria the Central Powers. Ultimately, more than 70 million military personnel, including 60 million Europeans, were mobilised in one of the largest wars in history.
The immediate trigger for war was the 28 June 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary, by Yugoslav nationalist Gavrilo Princip in Sarajevo. This set off a diplomatic crisis when Austria-Hungary delivered an ultimatum to the Kingdom of Serbia,[ and entangled international alliances formed over the previous decades were invoked. Within weeks, the major powers were at war and the conflict soon spread around the world.
On 28 July, the Austro-Hungarians declared war on Serbia and subsequently invaded. As Russia mobilised in support of Serbia, Germany invaded neutral Belgium and Luxembourg before moving towards France, leading Britain to declare war on Germany. After the German march on Paris was halted, what became known as the Western Front settled into a battle of attrition, with a trench line that would change little until 1917. Meanwhile, on the Eastern Front, the Russian army was successful against the Austro-Hungarians, but was stopped in its invasion of East Prussia by the Germans. In November 1914, the Ottoman Empire joined the Central Powers, opening fronts in the Caucasus, Mesopotamia and the Sinai. Italy joined the Allies in 1915 and Bulgaria joined the Central Powers in the same year, while Romania joined the Allies in 1916, and the United States joined the Allies in 1917.
The Russian government collapsed in March 1917, and a subsequent revolution in November brought the Russians to terms with the Central Powers via the Treaty of Brest Litovsk, which constituted a massive German victory until nullified by the 1918 victory of the Western allies. After a stunning Spring 1918 German offensive along the Western Front, the Allies rallied and drove back the Germans in a series of successful offensives. On 4 November 1918, the Austro-Hungarian empire agreed to an armistice, and Germany, which had its own trouble with revolutionaries, agreed to an armistice on 11 November 1918, ending the war in victory for the Allies.
By the end of the war, four major imperial powers—the German, Russian, Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires—ceased to exist. The successor states of the former two lost substantial territory, while the latter two were dismantled. The maps of Europe and Southwest Asia were redrawn, with several independent nations restored or created. During the Paris Peace conference, The Big Four imposed their terms in a series of treaties. The League of Nations was formed with the aim of preventing any repetition of such an appalling conflict. This aim, however, failed with weakened states, economic depression, renewed European nationalism, and the German feeling of humiliation contributing to the rise of nazism. These conditions eventually contributed to World War II.
WW2 the Second Stage:
World War II (WWII or WW2), also known as the Second World War (after the recent Great War), was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945, though related conflicts began earlier. It involved the vast majority of the world's nations—including all of the great powers—eventually forming two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. It was the most widespread war in history, and directly involved more than 100 million people from over 30 countries. In a state of "total war", the major participants threw their entire economic, industrial and scientific capabilities behind the war effort, erasing the distinction between civilian and military resources. Marked by mass deaths of civilians, including the Holocaust (during which approximately 11 million people were killed) and the strategic bombing of industrial and population centres (during which approximately one million people were killed, including the use of two nuclear weapons in combat), it resulted in an estimated 50 million to 85 million fatalities. These made World War II the deadliest conflict in human history.
The Empire of Japan aimed to dominate Asia and the Pacific and was already at war with the Republic of China in 1937,[5] but the world war is generally said to have begun on 1 September 1939 with the invasion of Poland by Germany and subsequent declarations of war on Germany by France and the United Kingdom. From late 1939 to early 1941, in a series of campaigns and treaties, Germany conquered or controlled much of continental Europe, and formed the Axis alliance with Italy and Japan. Following the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, Germany and the Soviet Union partitioned and annexed territories of their European neighbours, including Poland, Finland and the Baltic states. The United Kingdom and the British Commonwealth were the only Allied forces continuing the fight against the Axis, with campaigns in North Africa and the Horn of Africa as well as the long-running Battle of the Atlantic. In June 1941, the European Axis powers launched an invasion of the Soviet Union, opening the largest land theatre of war in history, which trapped the major part of the Axis' military forces into a War of Attrition. In December 1941, Japan attacked the United States and European territories in the Pacific Ocean, and quickly conquered much of the Western Pacific.
The Axis advance halted in 1942 when Japan lost the critical Battle of Midway, near Hawaii, and Germany was defeated in North Africa and then, decisively, at Stalingrad in the Soviet Union. In 1943, with a series of German defeats on the Eastern Front, the Allied invasion of Italy which brought about Italian surrender, and Allied victories in the Pacific, the Axis lost the initiative and undertook strategic retreat on all fronts. In 1944, the Western Allies invaded France, while the Soviet Union regained all of its territorial losses and invaded Germany and its allies. During 1944 and 1945 the Japanese suffered major reverses in mainland Asia in South Central China and Burma, while the Allies crippled the Japanese Navy and captured key Western Pacific islands.
The war in Europe ended with an invasion of Germany by the Western Allies and the Soviet Union culminating in the capture of Berlin by Soviet and Polish troops and the subsequent German unconditional surrender on 8 May 1945. Following the Potsdam Declaration by the Allies on 26 July 1945, the United States dropped atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 August and 9 August respectively. With an invasion of the Japanese archipelago imminent, the possibility of additional atomic bombings, and the Soviet Union's declaration of war on Japan and invasion of Manchuria, Japan surrendered on 15 August 1945. Thus ended the war in Asia, and the final destruction of the Axis bloc.
World War II altered the political alignment and social structure of the world. The United Nations (UN) was established to foster international co-operation and prevent future conflicts. The victorious great powers—the United States, the Soviet Union, China, the United Kingdom, and France—became the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. The Soviet Union and the United States emerged as rival superpowers, setting the stage for the Cold War, which lasted for the next 46 years. Meanwhile, the influence of European great powers waned, while the decolonisation of Asia and Africa began. Most countries whose industries had been damaged moved towards economic recovery. Political integration, especially in Europe, emerged as an effort to end pre-war enmities and to create a common identity.
WW3 the 3rd Stage:
World War III (WW3 or WWIII), also known as the war to end all wars, was a global war centred in Asia that began on 1 September 2035 and lasted until 15 October 2040. More than 15 million combatants and 100 million civilians died as a result of the war, a casualty rate that was created because of the Great Cleansing. A Genocide in which the Slavic Powers murdered 75 million Chinese civilians.
The war drew in 3 of the worlds military powers and there allies. The groups where The Slavic Powers (Russia, Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, and Bulgaria). Note that Poland and Ukraine where basically forced into the war by the Russians. The 2nd group is the Axis Powers (China, North Korea, Myanmar and Pakistan). This group was founded by the Chinese in an attempt to take Siberia. The final group are the Allied Powers (United States of America, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, India, and the Rest of the EU). This group was formed to take back Poland and Ukraine from Russian influence and it was also formed to destroy communism once and for all. Finally, there where 3 countries that where in the war but had no allies (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and The Union of Syria-Iraq). Saudi joined to attempt to conquer the UAE who still had a great economy. This was because Saudi ran out of oil. The Union of Syria-Iraq (TUOSI) joined the war to conquer Saudi Arabia who was fighting on the Emirati Front. Lastly, Turkey joined to conquer the TUOSI who where fighting on the Northern Arabian Front.
The war resulted in the Allies winning, the UAE took all of Saudi Arabia, the USA got rid of Communism (In 2020 they conquered Cuba), India took back Kashmir, Tibet got independence, South Korea was given all of North Korea, Myanmar was given to India, Russia lost control of Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus. Russia also gave the Crimea independence and let Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia split the North Caucuses. TUOSI was split into Kurdistan, Iraq, and Syria. Turkey gave more land to the Armenians and Greeks (They lost Thrace). Bulgaria stayed relatively okay after the war.
WW4 the fourth stage:
World War IV (WW4 or WWIV), also known as the Beginning of the 2nd age of Colonialism, was a global war centred in Africa and the Pacific Islands. that began on 25 September 2069 and lasted until 15 October 2089. More than 150 million combatants and 1 billion died as a result of the war, a casualty rate that was created because of multiple Genocides and a Disease spreading the those lands (Thats why this age began). The Disease killed at least 900 million people with the rest murdered in Genocides and Bombs. The disease was created in a lab in South Africa. It was released after some maniac drank it and ran into Cape Town coughing. It spread through Africa like Wild Fire and soon it entered Asia and the pacific islands through trade. The United States of America locked down its borders and managed to stay safe while most of the world around them crumbled. African nations where forced into tribalism and soon most of Asia was also. (The UAE locked down its borders and like the US, it stayed safe).
China for the most part stayed okay at the start of the war. They attacked India, Korea, and the Stans around them who where being destroyed by the disease. Quickly, they took back Tibet and conquered all of India, Pakistan, Korea, and the Stans. Even with this, the disease still hit them hard and by the end of the war, China to was divided into multiple tribes. The pacific islands to where hit hard by disease and with there not so populated countries, where almost completely destroyed within 2 years.
This World War as it is still Called, resulted in almost 3 whole continents dying off. The European nations also locked there borders but where still hit, just not that hard. The Balkan Nations fought each other as they where the Hardest hit European nations and Greece won. Conquering Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Albania. Armenia conquered Georgia and Azerbaijan for safety reasons and formed Transcaucasia.
Now, it is the year 2200, a World War has not been seen in over 100 years, and the disease that destroyed so many continents has dissipated. The last 4 stages of death have passed, but it has been stated that when the 5th one comes, the world will have to fight to survive.
Basically this Rp takes place in 2200 so you still have a lot of influence on how you create your nation. This Rp will focus on Colonialism, War, and Politics in General. Mechs are commonly used and so is Space Warfare. Space Colonization has not been invented yet but the farther we go in this RP the more of a chance it has of happening.
