It was almost the end of college. He sat idly scribbling on his notepad. The professor was giving a lecture about human organs and their vitality to the human body. Things he knew already. His head rested in his hand as h stared into space- not even looking at what he weird creations had been scribbled onto the paper. Suddenly the bell rang. There was multiple scrapes as everybody rose out of their seats. He was among them. He walked out of the class and through the rioting halls. He stepped outside. The fresh air instantly hit him in the face. He took a few steps forward and looked for one of his friends. Well, he was friends with everyone. He looked for one of his actual friend he usuaully hangs out with.

Autumn's eyes darted between the board and her notebook as she scribbled down notes. The teacher was explaining the current piece of art displayed on the projector, a sculpture made by the Greeks. She was explaining the difference between a Low-Relief and a High-Relief. Autumn glanced down at the neatly written notes then up at the screen, making sure she had spelled everything correct and hadn't missed anything. Then bell rang, cutting the teacher off as she looked at the clock in annoyance. She waved them off and the students got up, collecting their things and leaving the room. Autumn hugged her books to her chest as she exited the room, making her way through the halls. She eventually reached the outside and sat down on a bench where she normally waited for Alastair. She took out her sketch-pad and began working on her current drawing, a hand drawing a picture of a hand that was drawing a picture of a hand etc. It went on and on until the hand was very tiny. She brushed a piece of hair behind her ear as she looked up, spotting Alex a little ways away. Autumn has never really spoken to him much but he was friends will Alastair. Speaking of her brother, he was late. +~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+ Alastair listened to the Algebra professor drone on and one about functions. He wrote down the notes on the board, trying his best not to yawn as the seemingly never-ending lecture continued. He was relieved when the bell rang and had almost made it to the door before the professor called him back. Annoyed, the boy turned to see what the man wanted. After a few minutes of listening to the professor praise him on his performance, Alastair was at last waved off and he made his way through the hall, irritated that the professor had made him late in meeting up with his sister.

Gideon idly scribbles some notes down in his book, bored out of his mind. He stares at the clock. Just a little longer until he could get out of here and make sure that his sister made it through the day. He lets out a sigh of relief when the bell finally rings and he hops up, grabbing his backpack. He jogs toward the exit, ignoring the girls that paw and wink at him. He jogs out to the central yard and begins to look around for her. --- Gwyn didn't have a class for the end of the day. Her classes end earlier in the day. She walks slowly, staring down at the book in her hands. Enraptured in the perfect detail of a battle scene, she does not pay attention to where she is going and runs straight into Alex. She falls back down on her bottom, the book sent flying from her hands and her glasses, which are normally perched up at the very top of her nose, fall off her face and a few feet away. She doesn't hear a crack from any lenses, but she scrambles to try and find them. She is very blind without her glasses. She feels goofy now, considering the fact that she probably looks like Velma from Scooby Doo looking for her glasses.

Micah He had just returned to the campus from a day of glorified slave labor, they liked to call it "on the job education", when in reality, he worked the same shit he already knew, but only got paid around 3.75 an hour to do it. He smelled of WD-40 and had pipe-grease stains on his pants, boots, shirt, and flannel, as well as a big smudge on his forehead he was completely unaware of. He put a cigarette in his mouth as he looked for Alex, lighting it as he spotted him. He went through the same routine everyday, worked all day for the universities shit-head maintenance crew, unclogging sinks, fixing toilets, and occasionally maintaining the multiple water heaters. Then he would find Alex, they'd hang out, maybe have a beer or two, he'd go home, get absolutely shitfaced off of fireball, and go to bed.

John sat idly in his class, listening to his teacher drone on and on about the history of film, a subject that he really cared very little about. He looked up at the clock by the door and...RING...the rest of the class bolted, and John followed closely behind, excited to finally be done with classes for the day. As he left the building and walked outside, breathing in the fresh air as he did and running a hand through his blonde hair, a sign that he was exhausted from the day. He spotted one of his friends, Alex. He walked over to him and once he got closer he waved and said, "Hey bro," right as Gwyn ran straight into Alex. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lilly had skipped class. She had gotten up in the morning, had put a canvas on her easel and had begun painting, stopping once she realized she was late for her first class and then starting up again, deciding that she would just paint the day away. She finally finished and stepped back, admiring her work. The painting was of a blue flower that Lilly had sketched one day. She didn't think it was a particular flower, but Lilly wasn't exactly a botanist, and she figured she could have pulled the idea from a flower she had seen one time. She wiped the paint off of her hands onto an already paint stained shirt and walked outside, her hair tangled and messy. She took a breath of fresh air and figured that the last class of the day must have gotten out based on the traffic. She went on her way, looking for her brother, or one of her friends.

Alex was pushed back a few steps as Gwyn ran into him. He knelt down and picked up her glasses. "Hey" he said to John. "Gwyn here," he said as he stood back up with her glasses.

Gwyn reaches up and grabs a hold of her glasses, settling them back onto her face. She picks up her book and looks at Alex, fumbling over her words a little bit. "I-I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." Her face burns with embarrassment and she begins to tug at her hair nervously. She notices John walk over and she blushes even darker. --- Gideon walks out of the school at the moment that Gwyn falls to the ground. He rolls his eyes but is worried. His sister can be a klutz at times, but he wasn't worried for her safety. She ran into Alex, one of the most passive guys at this school. He smiles at her as he jogs up. "Hey Alex. You alright Gwennie?"

Micah He walked towards Alex, and clamped his hand on his upper wrist. It was a handshake he used for anyone he considered kin, and Alex definitely fell into that category. Alex was a pretty passive guy, so more often then not he would get walked all over. When that happens, Micah is normally the guy to smash their teeth in, it hasn't had to happen in a while, which is a good thing, it means people have started to show Alex the respect he deserves. "How are you brother?" He asked in a bit of a grunt, his voice was pretty deep, and he didn't use it much Unless he was with Alex

Alastair finally made it outside, spotting his sister sitting on a bench. He made his way over to her, his shadow falling over her sketchpad and making her look up. She smiled at him, setting down her pencil. "How was Algebra?" She inquired with a tilted of her head. Alastair groaned as he dropped onto the bench next to her. "Brutal." He replied, Autumn giggling slightly at the exasperation in his voice. Alastair looked over and spotted Alex. He stood, stretched, then made his way over after waiting for Autumn to stand. "Hey Alex." He called as they got closer. Autumn followed after her twin, struggling to pack away her sketchpad. Suddenly, she stepped on an untied shoelace and tumbled forward, landing harshly on her knees and shoulder, her sketchpad flying out of her hands and landing next to Alex. Alastair whirled and hurried over to his sister who was slowly raising to her hands and knees. He knelt next to her, examining her. Both knees were scraped and bloody, the shoulder she landed on bleeding and already beginning to bruise. Alastair sighed, shaking his head as his sister's clumsiness.

"Hey" Josh said as Gideon came over. He was about to start a conversation with him when Micah walked over. He smiled even more. "Yo what up!" He said. He looked back at Gwyn to make sure she was alright. Gideon had helped her up. He looked back at Micah and John and was about to say something when Alastair and Autumn approached. "Hey!" He said again. Just as he said this, Autumn had fell. "Wow all the girls are tripping over me today eh?" He joked. He became serious again. "You alright? You should probably get that washed and put some hand soap over it. Trust me, it helps" he told her.

John watched as his other friends approached, smiling at Alex's joke after Autumn fell. He then noticed that everyone who had a sibling at school, was with their sibling right then and he began to wonder where Lilly was. "God damn it, if Lilly skipped class again," he muttered aloud, not really intending to speak. Just then he heard a sarcastic voice sound off behind him, asking him what he'd do if she had skipped class again. He turned to look at her and gave her a slightly angry gaze that he couldn't really hold because he knew deep down that his sister would do whatever the hell she wanted, and he couldn't do anything about it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lilly finally spotted her brother and their friends not that far away from her. She smiled and made her way over, not worrying about the fact that she was a paint stained mess. As she came up behind her brother she heard him mutter about how he was gonna be pissed if she had skipped class again. She smirked and said, "Oh let's be honest here brother. What're are you going to do if I did skip class?" she asked as she placed her arm on his shoulder and leaned on him, playfully shoving him every now and then. "Hi guys," she said, waving.

"Hey," Gideon says back to Alex and looks at his sister. He proceeds to brush her off, but she pushes him away. "I'm alright," she says ignorantly, brushing herself off. She sneaks a quick peek at Alex before grabbing her book once more and continuing to read again. Gideon rolls his eyes and turns to look at the others who have just showed up. "How was class?" he asks Alex, knowing that it will be the exact same answer as yesterday.

"Hey you" he said with a smile as Lilly came over. He seemed to be smiling a lot lately he'd noticed. "Same as usual," he said in answer to Gidions question. "Everything he teaches I already know" He fumbled around in his pockets as he felt his phone vibrate. He pulled it out and swiped the unlock screen. We're out tonight. Damion coming with, keep house tidy xx - Mum. He made a hm sound as he read it.

Alex looked up at John with a raised eyebrow. "Oh my mum text me. She's away for the night with my dad and brother for the night." He told him. He pondered while reading over the text again. "You know, we could have a sort of party. Just us" he suggested to the group. "Dad just bought this sweet new sound system I haven't used yet" he said, looking at their faces for any signs of interest.

Alastair knelt next to his sister and brought out a tissue, antibacterial cream and a bandage. To some, it would seem odd that he would be carrying items like that but his sister fell all the time so he was prepared. After he treated the wound and stood, Alastair glanced at Alex as he made a thoughtful noise, giving him a curious look. He eventually clarified that his parents were leaving and he would have the house to himself. "A party? Sure, I don't have to work so I'm free. I can bring drinks if you want." He offered, running a hand through his brown locks. Autumn rose to her feet, her cheeks bright red as she bent to retrieve her sketchpad then retreat behind Alastair where she stood there fiddling with the hem of her sweater. She listened as they discussed having a party. If Alastair was going then of course Autumn was too, they rarely did anything without the other. Autumn idly flipped open her sketchpad and began working on her version of a mirrored effect with a hand drawing. She then became absorbed as she concentrated on detailing the hand just right.

John beamed as Alex suggested a party. "I'm in for sure. I could use a break from all this college stuff," he said, smiling. He was actually excited to be going. He felt like he deserved the time away from working on class stuff, which he'd probably be doing tomorrow. And plus, John enjoyed spending time with his friends and if it was just gonna be them it was all the better. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lilly jumped up and down in excitement when Alex suggested a party at his place. "YES I AM SO IN!" she shouted, drawing a few glances from passerby. Parties were her scene and it was even better that her brother agreed to come. She couldn't say that she really needed the break from life seeing as how her class attendance was spotty at best but she was always excited to go to a good party, especially one with friends and a new sound system.
