Name: Allectus Valeres Race: Imperial of Nibeneese descent. Age: 24 (Born 4E 176) Appearance: Allectus stands at 5'10, weighing 140 lbs with a thin, lanky build. He has the typical Imperial features of light skin and thin, angular features such as a pointed chin and high cheek-bones. His eyes are an icy blue and his hair is faded brown hair with short streaks of grey worn down to just above his neck with a prominent widow's peak and a receding hair-line. There is no facial hair present and his arms and legs are all thin, betraying his comfortable upbringing. An in-game reference can be found here: http://i.imgur.com/4vEaAIq.jpg Equipment -Custom Armor -Fine Steel Rapier w/ ruby pommel -Cloth under shirt/pants -Leather boots -Simple gloves
Notes on personality: -Sees races of Beast-folk and some Mer as degenerate and below humanity. -Is very fond of achieving power, but quite unsure of what he would do with it. -Insensitive to other cultures or customs he is not familiar with, very set in his own ways. -Values a person by their power or wealth, nothing else. -Considers himself to be more intelligent and sophisticated than his peers, and definitely more than the people of Anvil. -A bit of a repository of useless facts about history and such. -Views any quest he's in to be about him only, the values and wants of others don't matter if he's not getting what he wants. -Will only fight when it suits him, otherwise will try to solve all his problems with money or let others work for him. Background: If you ask any member of house Valeres, they will state that their family had been a strong, if quiet house within the upper-echelons of Imperial City society since the dawn of the Septim Empire. However, the truth is much less glamorous. Allectus's father, Sigmund, was a simple worker struggling to maintain ownership of a house in the Imperial City. He narrowly avoided conscription and found himself in a minor administrative position at the advent of the Great War. Taking advantage of casualties of the war, Sigmund grabbed power and stepped into the political vacuum. Surviving the occupation of the City, Sigmund birthed a son and raised his family to political prominence in post-war Cyrodiil. Taking the name, Sigmus Valeres, he elevated into the noble Imperial society. Allectus was born within the Imperial City as it rebuilt itself and his father sought out more political power for himself. Being an opportunist, Sigmus Valeres collected a number of estates from those lost to the war. His son would be raised by a disconnected mother and disinterested house-staff, causing him to spend most of his time by himself, learning to read at an early age and getting lost in his books ever since. At age 13, Allectus was offered as an aid to a Cyrodillic nobleman in the rebuilt city of Kvatch. This man would serve as a father figure to the young boy, rather than his actual father who simply used the boy as a means to furthering his own influence. Allectus would since look fondly back on his time in Kvatch, where he learned how to hunt, fight with a blade, and received a proper education for the son of a nobleman. He also would be taught the valuable lessons of leadership, politics, and other elements important only to the elite. At 19, Allectus was called back to the Imperial City to live with his father. The elder Valeres payed for extensive swordsmanship lessons for the young man. He would soon find himself in a variety of fencing competitions, achieving some notability among the ruling aristocracy of Cyrodiil and attending various social functions with his father. Under his mentorship, Allectus perused an early political career, being given small positions within the city such as "Waterfront Customs Officer," and later, "Junior Minister of Trade." Aside all the opportunities, he found himself easily bored with administration and perused woman and festivities as preferred to a political career. For a number of years Allectus would sit around, hosting grand parties and basking in the fruits of his father's ambition. After a few encounters, the elder Valeres would do all he could to remove his son from the city and it's temptations. A man like Allectus could only stand the isolation of the family estate for so long, and he soon payed for an escort to the city of Avil in pursuit of a cure to his boredom. With a large chunk of his father's money and his tailored armor, the Imperial struck out on his own for the first time.

Name: Lijah Cuu. Basic Description: This Breton is neither particularly tall nor particularly short and, like most of his race, more slender than his Imperial or Nordic cousins. Lijah's large, almond-shaped eyes are a fierce shade of green, contrasting handsomely with his long black hair, usually worn in a ponytail. A trimmed goatee finishes the roguish look. His blood runs thick with that of the Altmer, giving him ears that taper into a slight point and an ever-so-gentle golden hue to his skin. Lijah usually wears comfortable and loose black clothing of fine make, giving him unrestricted movement. Leather, iron-padded vambraces help him keep his grip while climbing and aid him in deflecting blows in combat. His boots are also made of leather, enchanted to make him light on his feet and muffle his footsteps. While venturing into danger, Lijah shrouds himself in a black, hooded cloak and covers his face with an equally black scarf. When you want to be invisible, there isn't much room for creative use of color. Basic Biography: Much like the man himself, Lijah's past is shadowy. He hails from Sentinel, but who his parents were or how he ended up as a Nightblade is a secret he keeps to himself. He will tell anyone who asks that he left High Rock because of 'political tensions', which probably means he assassinated the wrong target; High Rock is a place of constant strife and backstabbing, so that doesn't come as a big surprise. Lijah traveled to Cyrodiil a few years ago, before the return of the Dragons, seeking his fortune in a different business altogether. He has since made somewhat of a name for himself in the Cyrodiilian Heartland as an enterprising treasure hunter with a knack for creeping into ruins unseen and unheard. Lijah's skill with the bow and twin daggers, coupled with his almost preternatural ability to hide in the shadows, make him very dangerous in an ambush. However, he is very hesitant to go toe-to-toe with armored warriors and, if forced to defend himself, will rely on speed and agility to keep him alive until the right moment to deliver a critical strike. Outside of combat, Lijah is superficially charming and quick of wit, but he mirrors his fighting style in his interpersonal relationships; he avoids getting close to anyone. He left his old life behind in High Rock and traveled around a lot during his time in Cyrodiil, which essentially means Lijah has no friends.

Sheila
Basic Description: Sheila is an orc. That is to say, she's large, green and ugly. Unless you're into that sort of look, in which case she's merely average looking. In battle, she wears a set of Orichalcum armor she forged for herself years ago. Out of it, she's probably still wearing that armor. Or leathers if she can't wear her armor for some reason. Basic Biography: Sheila was the forge-wife of her stronghold. After her husband died, she didn't fancy marrying her ex-husband's usurper. So she left the tribe. After, of course, hitting the chieftain upside the head with her hammer. Since then she's been wandering, working as either a smith of a sellsword where she can. So long as it involves hitting things with a hammer, Sheila is right for the job.

Here's my application, I hope it's all fine Name: Gog gro-Magog Race: Orc Age: Young Adult Appearance: Gog is tall and burly. Standing at about six foot, he's not noted as a particularly tall Orc. However he still towers over many elves and men. His muscles ripple out from underneath his pale green skin and jutting out from his maw are two teeth large enough to be consider tusks. Gog's thick black hair is tied back into a braided pony tail that runs half way down his back and his face is clean shaven. A dark red scar runs across his cheek from a previous encounter. Gog wears only fur boots and a kilt made of pelts, though he occasionally dons cloaks woven from the skin of animals. At his side, Gog almost always has two orcish axes ready for a fight. All in all, Gog gro-Magog is an intimidating sight for all to behold. Equipment: Fur boots Fur kilt Fur cloak Orcish Axe x2 Background: Gog gro-Magog, born the son of Magog gro-Shadrak, spent his early years in the town of Chorrol. His father was a blacksmith and his mother a leather worker. They lived a modest but successful life and the family was well regarded by the townspeople. While his parents were busy selling their goods in the town, Gog would run out into the forests to play alone. He had a natural affinity for befriending animals and one day, he found a young wolf cub near the corpse of its mother. Bringing it home, his parents allowed him to keep it and he aptly named it "Wolfy". Wolfy would remain as Gog's only friend throughout his childhood. Gog was a quiet and thoughtful boy, and preferred solitude to the company of his fellow children. As he grew older, Gog developed an ever more obvious talent for elemental magic. Fire, frost and shock came to Gog as easy as talking the more he tried. The Synod briefly observed the boy but found that he had no aptitude for any other form of magic, eventually dismissing the idea of his admission all together. Gog's parents used to note how he was perfectly suited to shamanism and that if they had been living in a stronghold, Gog would receive the spiritual education he needed to properly harness his powers. One day, Gog left in the night with Wolfy in tow and enough supplies to last a week or two. There were no Orcish strongholds in Cyrodiil, but he knew of some in the northern lands of Skyrim. Once he ran out of supplies, he lived off of the land with the help of Wolfy - whom he eventually named 'Wulf' in his maturity. Eventually, he reached the Orc stronghold of Largashbur and was admitted entry. He spent the remaining years of his childhood and adolescence in Largashbur where he trained and honed his abilities, contributing as best he could to the small tribal society. After some years, Gog - now a young adult, left Largashbur in order to return to his parents in Chorrol. He missed them greatly and desired to check on their well being. When he arrived in Chorrol he found no trace of his family and when questioned, many of the townspeople told him that his parents returned to Orsinium following his own departure. With Orsinium being so far away, and with no appetite to return there, Gog decided to remain in Cyrodiil, wandering the forests and making a name for himself. With Wulf at his side, he roams the forests, mountains and valleys. At current, he finds himself in Anvil, having just completed a few local jobs to fill his coin purse.

Good sheet, but one glaring mistake: the Mages' Guild doesn't exist anymore. It was dissolved after the Oblivion Crisis and replaced by a variety of splinter organizations, like the Synod and the College of Whispers.

Faraldir, Sword-in-the-Snow
Description: Faraldir is a Nord of fair skin, sharp blue eyes, and shoulder length, dirty blonde hair, the last of which he keeps swept back out of his eyes. He is not as tall as most, standing short of six feet in height, but he has the well built stature of a veteran warrior and the easy, dangerous poise of his homeland's sabre cats. His body bears the scars of old wounds received in battle, but these have not slowed him, nor made him any less of a threat in the field. His possessions are limited to the leathers upon his body, the sheathed sword at his hip, the shield on his arm, and the contents of a weathered but functional pack. His armor is sturdy leather, insulated with bear's fur for warmth, and his sword is a nocked piece of long iron, worn but tested and true. His shield is of oak, and iron trimmed, and he wields it as easily as if it were his own arm. The pack, a thing of old leather, holds provisions, personal items, and traveling gear of small importance. Biography: Faraldir is a veteran of the civil war in Skyrim which saw the defeat of Ulfric Stormcloak and his army of separatists. In the wake of the peace, having found himself without a war to fight or an army to fight alongside, he has taken to the road. The distinction between soldier and bandit is largely a thing of timing. Before the war, Faraldir was a promising student of the College of Winterhold. His education there was brief, but served him well. His ability to use the School of Destruction served him well on the battlefield, and he wields frost and fire still. He speaks little of his past otherwise, and details of his life, such as his youth and pursuits outside of the college before the war, are known only to him. What he will tell is that he fought his fellow Nords in the war in Skyrim and took to banditry and vagrancy at its end. He traveled the many roads of Skyrim, during which time he came upon and rescued the Imperial scholar Gaius Tarso from the clutches of the Falmer. Together as a partnership, the two made their way to Cyrodiil, and then on to Anvil. And so we lay our scene.
Brother Gaius Tarso
Description: Gaius Tarso is a slight Imperial, standing at some five and a half feet in height. He is young, in his early twenties, and has the build of a man who has spent the better part of his life reading crumbling texts by candlelight. He keeps his patchy beard shaved, and his hair is messily cropped. His robes have seen a great deal of wear on the road, and have been cut to allow him better mobility. While a priest and pacifist, a pragmatic appreciation for self-defense has accustomed him to the use of a blade. He keeps an iron axe slung from his belt. Biography: Gaius Tarso was born and raised in Cheydinhal, and began studying with the priests of Arkay at the city's chapel early in life. He rose to become a priest himself, and was dispatched to Skyrim in the aftermath of the civil war in an effort to spread the word of Arkay and the Eight Divines while contributing to the reconstruction of the province. He arrived in Helgen to aid in the rebuilding of the city, which had been devastated by Alduin when the dragon first made his presence on Mundus known. While there, a Falmer raid against Helgen saw many of the inhabitants slain and captured. Gaius was among those taken in fetters for enslavement in the subterranean reaches that serve as the Falmer's dominion, but a stroke of good fortune saved him. A passing warrior named Faraldir slew his captors and rescued him. The two could do little for the Falmer's other victims, and so fled south into Cyrodiil. While the two traveled, Faraldir trained Gaius in self-defense, teaching him in the use of an axe. This skill complements Gaius's vast knowledge of history and Cyrodiil, and while it is Faraldir's initiative and courage that drives the expedition, it is Gaius's wisdom and knowledge that guides it.

Name: Antone Description: A bald, menacing Imperial standing at 6'4". His skin is rather tan and wracked with scars and other signs of wear. In his eyes lies a vacant stare, those grey orbs betraying no emotion other than mild annoyance. Rather than be heavily built, he is rather fit, looking malnourished despite his overall health. That's not to say he's not strong, as the Imperial armor he wears, adorned with a red cloth is made of heavy plate. On his back is a large war-axe, simple in design but sharped daily. He does not speak as his tongue was cut out years ago. He just stares. Biography: 15 years ago, Sigmund Valeres was working alongside the warden of the Imperial City Prison. On his way out, he came accross the ruins of a man recently released from captivity. He had his tongue removed and had been rotting away for the last 10 years for some forgotten crime. Seeking an opportunity, Sigmund took the man in and employed him as a laborer. Over the years, Anton proved himself to be a restless worker and a brutally loyal servant. He served as a guard for the household and eventually the personal guard for Allectus. Because of his status as a mute and his simple demeanor, he became a good companion for Allectus, providing the muscle for any purpose the young noble could dream up. When Allectus decided to strike out on his own, Anton came along, there would be no other way. Someone needed to carry the gear and attend the horses, someone needed to make sure Allectus did'nt get himself killed.
