Alex Fisher Age: 23 Bio: Alex was always one of the popular kids back in middle school and high school. It gave him a sense of superiority over his peers, along with an unhealthy dose of attitude that stuck with him as he grew into adulthood. He was clever enough to pass all of his classes without ever putting in my effort, he was talented at sports, and he was known for being a heartbreaker. Everything seemed to go his way all the time. Well, until his Sophomore year of high school, that is. Alex never knew his father -he was born illegitimate and the man had abandoned his mother before he was born- but he did have a good relationship with his mother. But when he was fifteen, she committed suicide by overdosing on prescription drugs. She left behind a letter that explained her reasons. Alex discovered that she felt worthless since her boyfriend left her to raise their son on her own. The stress of it all finally got to be too much and she couldn't handle it anymore, so she killed herself. Alex took her death harshly. His grades in school plummeted and he took to drinking to numb the pain of his loss. He became more of a bully, lashing out at the other students through misplaced anger. Finally, he dropped out of school completely during the first semester of his Senior year when he turned eighteen Throughout all of this, Alex had been bouncing between different foster homes. He never stayed in one longer than two months at a time because of his issues. No one wanted to keep him. The lack of care also attributed to his aloofness later on in life. After Alex quit high school, he had just enough money saved up to move into an apartment. He lived on just the bare essentials until he managed to get two part-time jobs and set his foot in the door of the working world. Five years later, his situation has improved, but he still often wastes his money at bars and clubs. Position: Alex is vaguely familiar with the rumors of the haunted complex in his hometown, but he believes they are only made-up stories. He never pondered them seriously and just laughed at the people who did.
