(This idea came from my hearing about a book titled "The Wave". Note: I have not read it, I simply heard about it and liked the premise.)
Your in a high school history class. The subject is WWII and Hitler's reign. The class seems to be immersed in the discussion. A student suddenly calls out, above the teacher's voice.
"This isn't real, your just fooling us!"
Your teacher looks dumbfounded. He closes the text book in which he was reading from.
"Of course it is, why would you think otherwise? What you just said, that is saying that WWII never even existed," they say.
A low hum of conversation has begun to fill the air. Many students side with the opposing party.
"She's right!" and "Yeah!" were heard, as a few students went to the non-believer.
-------------------------------------------
An event has sprung up at your school. It is called The Reign. Your history teacher has taken responsibility of showing you what a real dictator is and how Hitler had done it all. Many students had gotten too into it, punishing those not participating in The Reign. It is up to you and your friends (or enemies) to fix this. Will it spread beyond the school? Will The Reign lead to the taking of extreme measures, possibly even government involvement?
I hope you like the idea, I've been gone for quite some time now and would like to come back strong.
