Clothing Style: His wardrobe consists of articles that follow a monochromatic scheme; not a dash of color to be found. Honestly, he hasn't had any time at all to concern himself with the whims of fashion, so he owns a set of the same shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, and socks seen above, which he rotates through and washes weekly.
Personality: Weary, irritable, and forlorn, the deep bags under Hades’ eyes cannot hope to portray of all of the stress and strain the god has endured due to the tireless demands of his painstakingly important job. Hades is typically quick to lash out at others, because he is always tired. (If you have ever gone 3 days without sleep, that is only a miniscule fraction of Hades' pain, I think you can understand where his attitude is coming from.) Due to this reason, when Hades is able to socialize with his fellow Gods and Goddesses, he tends to isolate himself from the others in order to protect them from his rash personality...and to protect what remains of his reputation.

...He leads a very lonely life…

Past/Mythology:
After Zeus freed Hades and his brothers and sisters from their father’s stomach, the three eldest brothers, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades drew sticks to see who would rule over which domain of Earth. Hades drew the shortest of all three sticks, and he ended up stuck with the responsibilities in overseeing the Underworld. Diligently conducting the affairs of the Underworld, Hades’ had little free time and therefore rarely frequented any realm beyond his own. His only company was his dog, Cerberus, and the rare, yet occasional visit from one of his siblings.

As the God of the Underworld, mortals feared speaking his name, as they feared doing so would anger the God and, by default, would either lead them to die earlier or to experience a tortuous afterlife. So instead, Hades was referred to by another name, Pluton, God of Wealth (earthly minerals). Since most of the more precious, valuable minerals came from under the earth, Hades was awarded with another title and name; however, the two names should not be used interchangeably.

Appearance:

Clothing Style: Eris typically likes to flaunt her pride through extravagant outfits that all follow the same color scheme: turquoise, lights blues, black, red, golden yellow, and white. However, since she is being sent to a school type of setting, Eris has adopted a more fitting outfit that incorporates some of her favorite colors.
Personality: Twisted, dark, sinister, conceited, disturbing, Eris is by far one of the more unstable and dangerous goddesses. She particularly enjoys watching the pain and suffering of others afflicted by her aura of discord and chaos, and she often shows it through her sick and twisted sense of humor. Eris acts quite child-like, innocently smiling and giggling during times of unrest and despair. However, this is usually because she caused the incident that lead to such an atmosphere. Also, please take note that Eris has a very short temper. If at all possible, avoid angering her, as one should not mess with the Goddess of Chaos, Discord, and Strife.
Past/Mythology:
Eris is most well-known for the chaos that she caused during Peleus and Thetis’ wedding. Having not been invited to the wedding, Eris made an appearance, nevertheless. She was, of course, still refused entrance to the wedding, so she tossed in her famous Apple of Discord. The apple was only to be given to fairest and most beautiful of all of the goddesses. Zeus, put on the spot, left the decision up to Paris. The goddesses began offering bribes to the young man, all very tempting, but none were as tempting as Aphrodite’s offer. Aphrodite offered Paris the love of the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen of Troy. Helen was, at the time, already married to Menelaus of Sparta. Paris’s decision sparked both the Trojan War and a war amongst the gods, as the goddesses were displeased with his decision.

Eris was also involved in the tale of Polykethos and Aedon, two mortals that proclaimed that their love was stronger than the love that Zeus and Hera held for one another. Hera, enraged by their impudence, ordered Eris to inflict discord and strife amongst the two mortals. At the time of Eris’s visit, the two were both working on their own individual projects, Polykethosa chariot and Aedon a web, so Eris struck up a challenge for the two. The person who finished their task first would be awarded a beautiful slave by the other. Aedon won, but Polykethos was unhappy with his lover’s victory. Therefore, Polykethos kidnapped Aedon’s sister and dressed her as a slave. Infuriated when she finally realized who the slave was, Aedon chopped up Polykethos’s child and fed the son to his father in a stew. The gods were displeased with the outcome and the quarrelling, so the two mortals were turned into birds.
