Hey guys. Just thought we needed a place to discuss the RP. I've talked to a couple of you about it and we've stablished some stuff, but it's better to talk as a group. I'll update this later on to be more fleshed out and stuff, but for now, this can just be a discussion.

Also including an app template, just so you can fill it in in your own time and stuff. I'm working on mine now.

Well first thing off, I think we should discuss what will our main plot. That can influence our proposed characters.

I suggestion the following:

I, myself, have been thinking about starting up a small Harry Potter group to play through the troubling times of events in the Deathly Hallows. Stories where we run, hide, and occasionally fight back! But that's just my idea and suggestion.

Also playing through a modern day Tri-Wizard Tournament might be fun! I'm just now rereading the fourth book and I absolutely love the interaction between the three schools.

Mhm what do the others think about this idea? I like the idea of a group who have to survive during an era of war.

Question is would you prefer such a setting to be Deathly Hallows era, or modern? I thought we could go down the route of a death eater resurgence war. It'd give us more freedom to go the way we want without having to fit around the books. But ultimately it's up to the group as a whole so what do you think?

I think we should play through the Deathly Hallows era. Why? Because it gives us a good backbone for a timeline and a plot. We take liberties where we want as we would mostly likely be off the main storyline anyway. We'd only hear about the main storyline from time to time but we can interact directly with, say, the Battle of Hogwarts?
